(A/N: I own nothing and read last chapter!)

It was now the first day of classes and Bloom was sitting in Crowler's class beside her two friends/servants glaring at the pedophilic clown. The two of them were on either side of her glaring at the so called teacher as well with Alexis having her arms crossed in front of her chest and Jaden having his behind his head as they sat in the back row of the class.

"Disgusting." Bloom said coldly after Crowler put down the boy that was in the room next to hers. Jaden and Alexis shared a room with Bloom, much to several students protest until it was brought up that they were her bodyguards therefore they'd have to share a room with her in case of assassination attempts. Plus they had no say since the Chancellor had approved of it, as had the owner of the island…who just so happened to be Blooms dad. The blue haired boy somehow managed to sink even lower in his seat at this and stare at his desk sadly. Even the girl who didn't like Crowler thought he was disgusting.

"Haven't you've ever heard of stage fright? Ever think that if you hadn't called him out in front of the rest of the class to answer it, he'd know the answer to the question? Field spells and other such things are basic knowledge that are tested on the written part of the entrance exam. For him to pass the exam to get into the school he would have known the answer." Bloom continued her voice just as cold as the artic from behind her veil causing everyone to stare at her surprised while Crowler faltered for a moment before sneering.

"Slifer slackers have no place here if they suffer from something as pitiful as stage fright." Crowler sneered causing Jaden and Alexis both to tense as if preparing for a fight. Which they probably were. If that man said one bad thing about their 'princess'…well…the volcano would come in handy.

"And yet two of the Slifers in this very room managed to kick your ass in a duel so what does that say about you?" Bloom shot back calmly and causing most of the class to at the least grin, and some of the not so uptight students to actually laugh while Crowler screamed in frustration.

"And that was the bell. Now if you'll excuse me I'd rather not spend more time being taught by a gay pedophilic clown that gets his kicks from verbally abusing anyone not in blue." Bloom said coldly as she stood, Jaden and Alexis a step behind her as she gathered her things and left the room. Everything in the room was dead silent for all of a minute as those left in it stared at the door the three had left through…until one boy said what most of the class was thinking.

"Burn!" One of the Slifer's shouted grinning, all of them quickly fleeing the room with the Ra's a half step behind as Crowler screamed in frustration.

"T-Thank you." Syrus said finally catching up with the group of three in the cafeteria, staring at his feet shyly as he approached their table.

"Anytime little guy. I dislike bullies and I dislike those that abuse their power. He's both so naturally I dislike him." Bloom said with a small smile visible in her eyes as she reached over and ruffled Syrus's hair gently, causing the boy to squawk slightly and blush at the friendly action.

"Why don't you join us? I'd love to hear more about the machine deck you use. Not many people use that kind of deck." Alexis offered with a gentle smile to the boy who looked shocked at the offer.

"I-Is it really alright? I-I mean I'm no one important or a very good duelist…" Syrus trailed off with a yelp when Jaden reached out and snagged the small boy by the arm, dragging him down into one of the many free seats at the table. Most people were intimidated by the two overprotective guardians, Daphne who showed up on occasion, and the richest teenager in the world…so their table was rather empty aside from the three, now four, of them.

"It's cool. Yo Bastion! Chumley! Pull up a seat instead of standing around like a bunch of morons!" Jaden called to his other friends who were standing around nearby, eyeing the group curiously. Both boys looked shocked to be invited and looked to Bloom who glanced over at them and appraised them for a second before nodding. At that they hastily made their way over and slipped into the seats beside Jaden and Syrus respectively while those in the cafeteria stopped and stared at the sight of the two Slifer boys and one Ra sitting at the table with the trio.

"Since we haven't met officially yet…My name is Bloom Kaiba-Ishtar. Pleasure to meet you three." Bloom said kindly to the nervous looking boys who blinked at the kind greeting and relaxed just a bit.

"Bastion Misawa at your service." Bastion said politely with an incline of his head.

"Chumley Huffington." Chumley said warily.

"I-I'm Syrus…Syrus Truesdale." Syrus said shyly causing Alexis to look at him and raise an eyebrow.

"You're nothing like your brother. He's a cold and standoffish jerk while you're actually pretty nice and more open." Alexis said smiling at Syrus who looked at her in shock before blushing as bright as his blazer and staring at the table top.

"So… what's it like to be able to get just about any card you want?" Chumley asked Bloom a minute later, causing her to softly snicker as she shook her head.

"Most of my cards are birthday or Christmas presents and are in the packages, so I don't really get any card I want. I have to rely on the luck of the packages just like everyone else, although I will admit that if there's a card I really like or need for my deck, my dad and both of my godfathers make sure to go out of their way to make sure I have it within the month. I prefer to rely on my luck with the packages instead, a lot more exciting that way!" Bloom said taking off her veil and grinning at the guys who blinked at her sudden personality change.

"She has a semi controlled split personality. When her veil is on or she's 'Ai Enma' she's pretty much the perfect princess. When it's off she's pretty childish." Jaden explained at their confusion, causing them to look shocked but nod slowly in understanding. For some reason they couldn't explain…Bastions' next comment made all of them laugh or snicker.

"Somehow…that explains a lot."
