Kisdota: Got a bunch of people asking… what the hell I'll restart this. Don't expect me to keep this up though, what with school keeping me busy and my main fics as well.

Garnet held on as tightly as he could to the knitted mass of black feathers. The wind was intense and the shaking wasn't making this ride any easier. Garnet looked back again hearing his partner Eis still yelling at him.

"HOW. IN THE NAME. OF MIRRA OUM. DID YOU CONVINCE ME. THAT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA!" Eis angrily yelled at him, each of his sentences emphasized.

"WE CAN FIND THE PLACE JUST HOLD ON!" Garnet yelled back at him, despite the level of their voices they could just barely hear each other.

"THIS PLAN IS LUDICROUS, IMBECILLIC, AND DETRIMENTAL!" Eis yelled at him.

"SO… UH… WE'RE OKAY THEN?"

"THIS IDEA IS TERRIBLE YOU MORON!"

"OKAY FINE LET'S JUST JUMP THEN!"

"JUMP!?" Eis yelled, "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!"

"OH YOU BIT-!"

"Noire? What are you-?" Yin questioned Noire who was still looking up, but then he pointed upward towards the sound of a high pitched screaming.

"WATCH OOOOOOOUUUTTT-!" Garnet yelled greatly regretting his decision. This time there were no trees in the way to slow his decent and he was forced to plunge down to the hard solid earth.

*BASH* During mid flight Garnet saw a subtle hue of yellow suddenly plow right into him midair causing him to fly in a new direction. He felt himself crash through the thicket of branches and leaves.

"Eeeeheeehehee," rolling in and out of unconsciousness Garnet looked around and saw the flying birds and swirls going around his head. With a shake of his head those images disappeared. He landed on one of the trees thicker branches, looking up he saw Jean hanging upside-down from one of the branches.

"Hi Garnet," Jean said.

"Was that your brother?" Noire asked, "And did he just fall from the sky?"

"Uh well-," Yin tried to say something, but they were interrupted once again.

The sound of something massive, stomping away and knocking down trees was approaching. From the direction a massive Ursa had charged it's way through the trees acting erratic and violent.

Yin and Noire were about to do something until they saw a flash of pink and green on the back of the beast.

"Hey relax!" Nore yelled, he and his friend Rei were both riding the massive creature, much to the shock of Yin and Noire. Nore held on to the Ursa wrapping both his arms around it's neck, "Calm do- I said Relax! Relax! RELAX!"

*SNAP* Nore accidentally held on too tightly and snapped the Ursa's neck. The monster fell to the ground in an instant, a large corpse on the ground now. Rei, who was still holding on for dear life, opened her eyes to see that the horrible and terrifying ride was finally over. She shakily clambered off and kneeled to the ground in gratitude.

"NO! Come on! Cone on we can still have fun!" Nore said to the dead Ursa like it was a tired puppy, he picked it up by its head trying to coax it to come back to life, "Come on let's go, get up, get up, get up, I SAID GET UP!"

*SNAP* in his frustration Nore pulled to hard in the wrong direction and snapped its neck a second time.

"Nore!" Rei said, "Please don't ever do that again."

"NOO!" Nore yelled finally accepting that the Ursa was dead, "He was my best friend," he sadly cried, "Or he could have been, if he'd just listened to me- ooh interesting stuff!" he instantly went back to being normal once he saw all the shiny chess pieces.

He took a look at the gold Rook piece and picked it up holding it like it was some trophy.

"I'm King of the Castle!" he declared in a dictatorship like voice, "All fools will kneel before your one and true ruler-!"

"NORE!" Rei yelled at him.

"Oops, coming Rei!" Nore cheerfully said taking his relic with him.

"Did those two just ride an Ursa here?" Noire questioned Yin who tried to get a word in but got interrupted again.

*SMASH* The same hulk busting stampeding sound was heard, only much much louder.

Pyrrhus could be seen running through a couple of trees, a second later the massive Deathstalker crashed through the trees chasing after him.

It attempted to swipe at him with his claws, but Pyrrhus rolled out of the way of both attacks.

"Pyrrhus!" Jean cried out for him, "Garnet!" she cried for her friends help but she already left jumping down the tree back onto the ground.

"Garnet?" Yin said.

"YIN!" Garnet cheered.

"NORE!" "WHOA!" Nore felt the need to join the happy festivities.

"Did he just run all the way here with a Deathstalker following him?" Noire questioned still watching Pyrrhus being chased.

"ENOUGH!" Yin yelled catching fire, "WILL ALL OF YOU STOP MAKING NEW ANNOYING THINGS TO HAPPEN FOR AT LEAST 2 SECONDS!"

(2 seconds later)

"Uh… bro," Garnet said pointing up.

Another Massive and colossal Grim was flying through the Air, a bird like avian class Nevermore Grimm. Hanging on for dear life at its bottom claw was Eis, who tried to get as close to the ground as possible before jumping off.

"WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE ME!" he yelled out at Garnet.

"I told him to jump," Garnet said.

"He'll fall from that height," Noire said.

"He'll be fine," Garnet said.

"He's falling," Rei said.

Jean finally got out of the branches and onto her feet. She already notice Eis was falling and carefully timed her jump at the right moment. She leapt right out of the tree ready to catch Eis before he fell to his death.

Unfortunately she timed her jump a second too early.

"GAH" Eis fell right on top of Jean, the two of the landed on the ground. Jean face first right into the dirt with Eis falling right on top of her.

"Oh!? Oh wow I'm okay!" Eis said in shock, not even bothering to notice that he landed right on top of Jean.

"OOMPH!" Pyrrhus was knocked right in front of the rest of the group.

"Great we're all here, now we can all die as brothers in arms," Yin said.

"We're not finished just yet," Garnet said grabbing ahold of his weapon and rocketing right for the massive Deathstalker Grimm.

"No, NO GARNET WAIT!" Yin tried to catch his brother before he left, but he was too fast.

Pulling out Crescent Rose he fired a round from behind launching him forward right for the Grimm. Swinging the weapon around he was prepared to strike at it, but the Grimm could already see her coming. Using the top of its claw as a shield it blocked the attack and Garnet pushing him back.

"GAH!" Garnet tumbled back feeling the wind knocked out of him. He quickly got on his feet though finding it difficult to get his balance back.

"I-I'm okay!" he cried out. Turning around the Deathstalker was a foot away from him sizing Garnet up. Garnet hurried and fired a round right in the monsters eye. It was ineffective.

Turning right around Garnet started running away from the Grimm.

"Garnet!" Yin yelled heading right for his brother.

Garnet was already making good distance away from the Deathstalker, unfortunately the Nevermore spotted them all and was heading right for them.

Letting out a shrill cry the Nevermore flapped both its wings right towards the ground and let loose a barrage of sharp tipped feathers the size of cars raining down like arrows. Garnet didn't look back and kept focusing on running as fast as he could.

*SHING* "OOPH!" one of the feathers got caught in Garnets cape tripping him up. The feathers kept falling in a path past him right towards Yin who stopped immediately to the oncoming danger just in time for the attack to stop.

"Garnet! RUN!" Yin yelled.

"I'M TRYING!" Garnet yelled back trying to tug his cape out. He was completely unaware that the Deathstalker had finally caught up to him and was readying its stinger. Garnet looked up to see the glowing gold implement right before the Grimm thrusted it at him.

"GARNET!" Yin yelled.

*FLASH* Garnet had his eyes closed expecting something to pierce him. He didn't feel a thing, and the air suddenly got a lot colder. Opening his eye he saw Eis standing between him and the creature. A massive wall of Ice trapped the Deathstalker's tail in place keeping it from attacking.

"You… are a moron," Eis said.

"Eis?" Garnet questioned.

"And impulsive, and unthinking, and uncooperative, and that whole fighting style!? What were you thinking?" Eis said to him.

"I think I'd rather be stung at this point," Garnet said sarcastic and annoyed.

"Shut up! But…," Eis started, "I guess I'm… not the best person to be with, but I want to pass this test, and if we're going to pass it and if you're willing to actually listen then I guess I can stop… being so… cold to you," he fumbled with the words.

"Is that a pun?"

"It's not supposed to be, can we move on!?"

"No no, yeah I guess I can work together," Garnet said, "Especially since you can use Ice-beam."

"What? I don't have an Ice-beam," Eis told him.

"No I know, I was just you know referencing a Pokemon move," Garnet said.

"What?"

"Oh come on, how can you not know that?"

"GRAAAWR!" the Deathstalker started struggling in the ice again and let out a huge roar.

"We should move."

"Yeah let's go."

The two partners left and met up with the others again.

"Uh… not to ruin the moment but that big bird is coming right back at us," Jean told everyone nervous and scared, "How are we going to take it down?"

"We don't need to take it down, we were all told to just grab a relic and return," Eis said.

"He's right, let's get what we came for and go. It won't matter if we defeat those Grimm or not," Garnet said.

"Tactical retreat, I'm okay with that," Jean said in agreement. She and Garnet both took a relic for their teams. Jean took a gold rook while Garnet grabbed the gold Knight.

"Alright, let's move!" Garnet said, everyone nodded and started running off back to the Cliffside. Yin watched his brother taking charge and leading them.

"What is it?" Noire asked him.

"Huh?" Yin questioned, "Oh…nothing important," he said heading off with Noire following behind him.

They made it a fair distance; their destination was in sight. The arrived at a larger part of the ruins where the Nevermore finally caught up to them. It flew in front of them all landing on the remains of a tall tower. Everyone took cover behind different pillars pairing up with their partners.

The Nevermore screeched out trying to get them out of hiding.

"Well this is just perfect, could this get any worse?" Yin questioned.

*SMASH* That same sound of stampeding tree smashing came and the Deathstalker arrived, finally free from Eis's ice.

"Oh dear, RUN!" Jean cried out with Pyrrhus following behind her.

Once everyone else came out of their hiding spots the Nevermore spotted them and took flight.

"Nore! Cover us!" Rei commanded.

"Roger!" Nore cried, everyone stuck close to the stone pillars but Nore went straight out in the middle getting the birds attention. It let loose another one of it's trillions of feathers attack but Nore merely hopped out of the way avoiding the hundreds of spines.

Taking out his weapon Magnhild he aimed the large canister like gun at the bird.

"SUCK ON THIS!" *BOOM* Nore fired multiple RPG's right at the Grimm, the first one smacked it right on the face exploding into a puff of pink smoke. This caused the Grimm to retreat to the side clearing the way for the others.

"YEAH! Only real men like pink ya pansy!" Nore taunted the bird; not noticing the Deathstalker was a few feet away from him.

*SHING* the scorpion was stopped again by Rei and Noire, both of them using their blades to slice at the monsters eyes.

Eis dropped down next to Nore; summoning a glyph he grabbed his arm and started jumping away.

Pyrrhus looked behind himself and saw Noire and Rei were running from the Deathstalker. Eis and Nore landed and ran right past him.

"I've got your backs! Go!" Pyrrhus commanded turning Miló into a riffle and aiming right for the Deathstalker. Rei joined her and started firing rounds from Storm Flower. The Grimm didn't falter and tried to swipe at them all with his claws. Pyrrhus and Rei rolled back and Noire jumped out of the way.

They all made it to the bridge crossing over the pit. The ground was too far away to see. From the left the Nevermore had returned and tried to ram them all into the bottomless abyss.

*CRASH* It smashed into the middle, everyone was knocked on separate sides. Noire, Pyrrhus, and Rei were all on the forest side forced to face off against the Deathstalker. Jean, Nore, Yin, Eis, and Garnet were on the tower side where the Nevermore flew around.

Jean looked across and saw the others trying to take down the Deathstalker, but most of their attacks weren't effective enough.

"They're in trouble! They need our help!" she cried out.

"Got it, lets do this!" Nore cheered.

"But… I-I don't think I can jump far enough," Jean said measuring the distance between her and the other side. The bridge had broken up a lengthy gap between them, at least 20 yards apart.

"Leave it to me! Get behind me!" Nore said, he moved ahead a bit while Jean took a few steps back, "Perfect!" he said taking out his weapon. The large Grenade launcher transformed, the handle extended out and the opening was covered in a sheet of metal making a large war hammer.

"Whoa, what are you-!?" Jean tried to ask, Nore swung the weapon over his head jumping, turning, and slammed down hard. The position of the bridge tilted hard and launched Jean into the air flying right for the Deathstalker said. While the bridge was breaking Nore held onto his weapon, stood on the hammer head, and pulled the trigger.

Jean landed right next to the group while Nore was still flying right for the Deathstalker.

"HYAH!" *SMASH* Nore hit the Grimm right on the head actually causing it to cry out in pain. It attempted to try and strike him with its tail.

Nore saw this and pulled the trigger again.

*BOOM* Nore flew back while forcing the Grimm head down a bit more, his stinger missed an imbedded into the stone bridge in front of him. Nore also unfortunately crashed right into Noire.

"GH!?" Noire was knocked off his feet falling down into the abyss, looking up he saw the other three and the large Nevermore.

Taking out Gambol Shroud he fired it in its gun form, spinning around the blade and imbedding it into another bridge. Noire swung around through the architecture and propelled his body into the air right in front of the giant Nevermore.

Using his semblance he double jumped high into the air right in front of the Nevermore's face sending a series of quick ninja like slashes. The Grimm tried to bite him but he used another shadow double to jump right over it and run on its back, slashing it on the way down before jumping off.

He landed on a broken part of the tower in the middle where Yin and the others were.

"We need to figure out a way to beat him," Noire said.

"Screw plans! Just hit it with everything you have," Yin said chocking up Ember Celica.

Garnet took aim and returned his Crescent Rose to its gun form. Noire folded down the blade on his Gambol Shroud aiming it at the Grimm. Eis spun the chamber on his Myrtenaster calling forth another glyph.

The large bird started descending towards the four men and they all let loose their attacks firing round after round of bullets, magic, and explosions. The Grimm didn't seem to be hurt at all, but they were knocking it off its course.

The Nevermore crashed into the tower below the four causing the whole building to start crumbling down. Each one of them hurried and jumped from rock to rock onto the other structure. Noire wall ran up one of the nearby pillars while Yin punched the rocks behind him launching him upward. Eis skated along the glyphs while Garnet jumped from stone to stone firing rounds to lift him up.

They all landed on solid walkways as the Grimm started circling around again.

"Nothing seems to be working," Eis noted.

Garnet took a look around seeing Noire swing in with his weapon, while Yin was on top of another broken pillar firing at the Grimm.

"I got an idea, watch my six!" Garnet said hurrying off.

Meanwhile back with the other team, the Deathstalker finally got his stinger out of the bridge. It started collapsing and would soon fall, Jean and the others knew they couldn't stay.

"We need to go, now!" Jean told them taking out her shield and sword.

Pyrrhus got in close to the left claw as the creature tried to strike him, he deflected it with his shield Akoúo sliding past and swinging Miló in its sword form at the joint in the claw. Jean took the right said using her shield to completely bounce it back, Pyrrhus took this moment to jump in and attack the other claw.

The creature cried out in pain extending both its arms out. Rei got in close firing a few rounds to get its attention, the Grimm tried to attack her by using its stinger. Rei stopped at the last second and the stinger missed, she grabbed on as the monster retracted its tail and Rei started firing at the joints in the stinger trying to fire it off.

The Grimm cried out in more pain, Nore came in and fired more rounds from Magnhild in its gun form. The Grimm covered its face with both its claws forcing both Jaune and Pyrrhus back.

When the claws left its face again Pyrrhus turned Miló back into a spear and fired it. It embedded right into the Deathstalkers eye and it cried out in pain.

"WHOA!" this new pain made the Deathstalker buck around and it swung back its tail. Rei couldn't hold on and she was flung back.

"REI!" Nore called his friend, she went flying to one of the stone walls and crashed on her back hard before falling to the ground, "SON OF A BITCH! I'LL MOUNT YOUR FACE ON MY WALL!" Nore angrily yelled at the Grimm.

"What are we gonna do?" Pyrrhus questioned looking around, "The bridge won't hold up much longer, if we had time then we could wear it down but-."

"PYRRHUS!" Jean called him, "The Stinger!"

"What?" Pyrrhus looked to where Rei had been fighting, the stinger was holding up only by a small tendon of flesh, "Got it!"

Pyrrhus swung his shield around like a Frisbee aiming it for the monsters tail. The edges sliced through it and the stinger fell right on top of the Deathstalker head. Pyrrhus called back his weapon and the shield went right back to his arm.

"Nore! Hammer it!" Jean said.

"Gimme a boost!" Nore called out jumping right over Pyrrhus. Using his shield like a platform Nore aimed the hammer side down and stood on the handle like a skateboard.

The instant he landed Pyrrhus jumped up and Nore pulled the trigger on his weapon again, and the two launched him into the air.

"Whooo hoo hoo!" Nore cheered from the ride. He aimed his hammer directly away from the Deathstalker and fired, spinning around right for the Grimm he finally landed.

*CRASH* He hit the Grimm right on top of the Stinger killing the monster in an instant. The impact also caused the bridge to tilt again this time sending Pyrrhus and Jean right over the Deathstalkers head. Nore pulled the trigger again and launched himself over the now dead Grimm as it and the bridge fell down into the abyss.

Jean fell to the ground, while Nore crashed more gracefully, Pyrrhus landed perfectly on his feet.

Rei got back up still exhausted from the attack, she stood for a few seconds before collapsing on the ground in a heap.

"Yeah!" Nore cheered, "The first rounds on us!"

"Nore that one liner doesn't work," Rei said still laying face down.

"Oh… uh… Enjoy your trip!" Nore corrected.

"That's… good enough," Rei said.

"SCREEE!" The four of them heard the Nevermore cry out and saw it flying around. Yin was still firing rounds at the bird trying to get it to come to him.

"OVER HERE YOU TURKEY!" Yin called out firing a heavy round right at the Nevermore's head. This time the bird turned, opening its mouth to try and eat him.

Yin jumped up offering himself and the Nevermore took the bait. Yin was taken up by the Grimm but he kept the mouth open with his legs and one hand. He fired round after round into the open mouth of the Nevermore.

"EAT IT! EAT IT! DIE! DIE!" Yin yelled. He looked over his shoulder and saw that he was in position. He jumped out of the Nevermore's mouth letting the disoriented creature crash into the cliff wall behind him.

Yin saw his brother and Noire in position between two pillars and Eis slid across the ground past him. The Nevermore got back on its feet, its back towards the rocky wall. As soon as it tried to fly up Eis let loose another one of his glyphs and jumped right for the tail of the Nevermore. Striking the ground near it with Myrtenaster he summoned a column of ice. The Nevermore's tail feathers were trapped in the ice as it struggled to fly away. Eis jumped away and got back into position.

From on pillar Noire flung Gambol Shroud right at Yin who caught it from another pillar and imbedded the weapon into the stone. Between the two of them was on big strip of elastic and tough ribbon. Garnet hopped on his weapon and fired himself upward onto the strap.

Using his semblance, Eis summoned a glyph and attracted Garnet into place ready to launch him at the giant Nevermore. The Glyph turned black and held Garnet in place as Eis aimed at the Nevermore.

"You sure this idea will work?" Eis asked Garnet.

"Of course, its just like playing Angry Birds," Garnet said.

"Angry Birds?"

"Oh come on! That ones- screw it just launch me into the damn bird," Garnet said.

Eis turned the black glyph red and flung Garnet right into the monster. Flying through the air Garnet let forth a trail of rose petals while firing off his weapon to launch himself even faster.

*SHING* His weapon struck right at the neck of the Nevermore pulling it with him Garnet landed right on the wall of the cliff. Eis summoned a pathway of Glyphs under Garnet as he started running up the rocky wall firing more rounds to let him up.

The Nevermore cried out, its back skidding across the stones leaving a trail behind it.

"HYAAAAAAAAAA!" Garnet reached the top of the cliff and gave on final jump, lifting his whole body into the air he fired another round completely slicing through the Nevermore's neck. The head fell off and landed right next to Garnet who gracefully landed right next to it.

The others looked as the massive Grimm corpse started falling to the ground with a loud thud.

"Wow," Jean said impressed like all the others.

"Ooh! Dibs on the head!" Nore called.

The students were once again gathered in the great hall. Each and every one who attended were all shown their results. Headmaster Elwin personally calling each student up and naming his or her team groups and positions. A large screen up on the stadium was showing pictures of each student being lined up in the team order.

"Raven Thrush, Carrie Winchester, Dove Bronzewing, Sky Lark," Elwin called out, each of their faces lining up next to each other in a specific pattern, "The four of you collected the black bishop pieces, from here on out you will all be known as team Cardinal," she said, a large CRDL, "Led by Carrie Winchester," a tall lightly slender woman smirked at this announcement for just a moment.

Team CRDL stepped down and the next Team walked up.

"Jean Arc, Lie Rei, Pyrrhus Nikos, Nore Valkyrie," Elwin called out, and each of their faces appeared on the screen lining up next to each other, "The four of you retrieved the white rook pieces, from here on out you will all be known as team Juniper," a large JNPR appeared on the screen, "Led by Jean Arc."

"W-What?" Jean was surprised by the announcement.

"Congratulations," Elwin told her.

"Way to go," Pyrrhus said patting her on the back.

*SMACK* "GUH!?" Pyrrhus didn't hold his patting back and the force pushed Jean down face first to the ground.

"Oh… s-sorry," Pyrrhus said.

"Garnet Rose, Eis Schnee, Noire Belladonna, and Yin Xiao Long," Elwin called out, and each of their faces appeared on the screen lining up next to each other, "The four of you retrieved the white Knight pieces, from here on out you will all be known as team Geomancy," a large GENY appeared on the screen, "Led by Garnet Rose."

Eis suddenly looked to the right where Garnet was standing, a bit surprised himself by the sudden call.

"Whoo!" Yin was already hugging his brother, "Way to go bro, so proud of you."

"Y-Yin! Not here!" Garnet yelled at him.

"Well," Elwin said, "I suppose things are going to be quite lively this year."

"Rrgh, useless!" Juliet Torchwick declared hanging up the phone. In a secluded warehouse like area Juliet Torchwick was looking over her map of vale. What she was trying to figure out though was a mystery.

A few seconds later someone came in through the door, a White fang member strolled in pushing a cart holding a large crate.

Juliet looked over the package before handing a few lien cards over to the White Fang member.

"Open it," she told him. The White Fang member nodded, taking a heavy crowbar and forcing the top open. Inside was a plethora of crystal dust. Juliet took one of them smiling to herself at the prospect of her goal.

"We're going to need more grunts," Juliet said.

Kisdota: Alribght here's the next chapter, this took a bit of effort to write. And I'm still on the first volume, the next season all has episodes that last way longer than this. Also a bit of a request, you want me to keep updating then I actually need a reason to update. You know what I mean.
