Icicles hung from her roof, that's how cold it was that night. At 9:45 P.M., Yoshiki Kishinuma stood outside of Ayumi Shinozaki's house, waiting for her to open the door. Instead of ringing the bell, he called her for the first time since he got her number, and was surprised that she even bothered answering. He told her that he was waiting downstairs, and had been for 15 minutes before he called. Still, that phone call was 10 minutes ago. And at the moment, the blonde was shaking from the cold.

Finally, after waiting another 3 minutes, the front door opened, revealing a very annoyed looking Ayumi, wearing a jacket over her school uniform. Looking closer at the shaking boy in front of her, she frowned, believing his statement from before.

"What?" She questioned, not wanting to stand in the cold weather any longer than needed. She brushed a stray lock of her hair behind her ear, the rest blowing furiously in the wind.

"I...need to say this. And you have to listen to me straight out, but first..." The blonde boy took a step closer to her, and stared at her features; her black hair was out of her pigtails, and the wind blew it around her face. Her cheeks were red from the cold, and her lips were slightly quivering. She was beautiful to him, in every sense.

"Well I'd like it if you could hurry up! It's freezing after all..." She muttered, growing increasingly impatient.

Taking a deep breath, Yoshiki released it with a shudder; this was it. He was going to confess. No more turning back now.

"This isn't easy to say, and I'm not expecting you to just automatically say yes, but...Shinozaki Ayumi, I like you. A lot." He paused, looking at her expression, trying to guess what she was thinking and was disappointed to see the look of utter disgust on her face. He shook his head, not wanting to be deterred. "And I know you like Satoshi," another pause to see her face, which changed into one of annoyance, "but it's only fair that I can at least test the waters."

The blonde had to stop to release a series of coughs, and he felt shivers run up his spine from the feeling it left in his chest. "So...I love you." He lamely finished, his face flushed red, and his hands stuck in his pockets, because if not they'd fall right off.

Ayumi stood there, during his whole confession, waiting for him to finish. She saw how red his face was and sighed; what an idiot to stand out here in the freezing cold over a girl. Not to mention that the girl was her, no less. Now, it was her turn, and he was waiting on her.

"K-Kishinuma...listen. I...Mochida isn't really who I like anymore." She looked up from her boots to see Yoshiki's shocked face. He looked speechless, and she had no doubt about it.

"R-Really?!" He sounded excited, and shocked at the same time.

Ayumi nodded slowly, gathering her thoughts. "Th-that's what I said isn't it?!" She sighed, calming down. "I just...lately, I've just stopped feeling a certain way around him. He doesn't make me feel tingly, and it doesn't hurt me every time him and Nakashima get close. It was weird, but the thing that bothered me the most was that all of those feelings just...moved."

"Moved?" He asked. She turned away and nodded, trying to hide the obvious blush on her cheeks. "It's just weird, honestly. I'm not sure if I should go with the feelings or not, but...this? What you're doing is..." Ayumi stopped, giving Yoshiki a serious look.

"What? Me?" She nodded. He faltered in his confidence, but a strong gust of wind reminded him of what he was doing. "So was it the person it shifted to? Or that fact that it shifted at all?" He took a step forward, slowly closing the distance between them. He watched as she averted her eyes to the side, not paying attention to his actions.

"Both," she mumbled quietly. He grinned, then, and suddenly the distance was gone.

"So tell me, Shinozaki," he leaned down to her height, his face centimeters away from hers, "who was this theif? Who stole your feelings?" He whispered shakily, feeling a chill up his leg. She shivered involuntarily, and whether it was from the wind or the way he breathed his words, he couldn't tell.

She was captivated by him; his eyes were so deep, but they held a sharp look to them, and right now, she was more attracted to him then ever. Before she could reason with herself, she took a hold of the blonde's collar and pulled him closer, welcoming the warmth it brought. Their lips melted together in a soft kiss, nothing to rough or greedy, and she liked that. She liked the way his cold finger tips held her close and they way they tightened their grip on her coat, and she liked the way he held the back of her head like it was the most fragile thing in the world.

They broke the kiss, and he grinned sloppily. He was beyond happy and he was sure nothing could describe how he felt. He had known for about a week now that Ayumi at least harbored some kind of feelings for him, but only because she wasn't as good at hiding her feelings as he was.

"How long?"

Her question caught him off guard. "Huh?" Rolling her eyes, she asked again. "How long?"

"How...? Oh! How long...two years, I'd say." He said calmly, and she shook her head at him. He shrugged his shoulders, to which she playfully slapped him, still smiling.

"And you practically killed yourself waiting for me...idiot." She muttered quietly so that he couldn't catch it. "Come on, you're gonna die out here!" She pulled his arm towards her house and shoved the door open. Dropping her stuff quickly, she ran further into the house to change her clothes and run a bath for him, who's skin was now a little beneath 0ÂșC, he had joked, but her glare had shut him up. Meanwhile, he took his time to relish in the warm air of her house, and ignored the odd glare her father sent him as he walked past into the kitchen.

He had a girlfriend now. Him. The former delinquent and the failure at life had a class rep for a girlfriend. He grinned lamely, and when her father walked by again, he waved, to which the man sent him an odd stare, but still waved.

"I'm freezing my ass off...but this was worth it." He followed Ayumi to the bathroom, and once left to his own devices, muttered a few words to himself.

"Looks like this winter won't be so cold after all..."

A/N: Finally! I've been going back and forth to this a lot. Like tons of times, but I finally finished it! So an anonymous reviewer left a review on this story and when I saw it I was so upset that I couldn't respond to it! I'll definitely check out your fic (even though I know nothing about vocaloid lol) and I love Lucky Star too! One of my favorites. But anyways, that inspired me to finally get around to making this, and I did. Hope you enjoyed it. By the way, I'm like 1000% the characters were OOC, so please excuse me!

Also, I'm so sorry about Discord. I'm working on it as we speak(read, rlly) and the next chapter should be ready in like 2-4 days. I'm still adjusting to high school, it's new for me, so please forgive me! But enjoy this in the meantime! I was thinking of making a request kind of fic, but I know...I would have to find a way to work it out, I guess. This is getting long now, so bye!
