Inheriting a New Prophecy Book 3 - The Titan's Curse

Disclaimer: I own nothing of any recognized characters or universes within. I believe most of these universes are owned by J.K. Rowling and Rick Riordan. Check out Riordan's work because he is one of my favorite authors. Rowling just created a universe that is fun to play in but ended really messed up.

With a powerful leap the immortal warlock cleared the beach and landed in the water as if he had only taken another step instead of leaping several hundred feet. As soon as the pair touched the water Zoe began to come alive as the water wizard augmented her own natural sea regeneration abilities.
"Thank you for saving me back there Percy…and for saving Artemis. She's…she's very special to me," Zoe's voice played into the warrior wizard's mind.
Most sea beings could communicate in the same manner.
"I understand…I've grown quite fond of her myself despite our odd first meeting," pointed out the wizard.
Zoe appeared hesitant for a moment as she floated in front of the demigod, still touching him quite a bit to keep up the pleasant healing energy.
Biting her lip in what Harry thought was an adorable way the platinum blonde woman eventually worked up the courage to announce, "I'm ready to move on from eternal maidenhood and become a woman." Bringing her head up and gazing intently into the sorcerer's brilliant green eyes Zoe declared, "I want you to be my first Percy Jackson. Make me a woman."
The pair drew closer together and began to explore each other's mouth as hands roamed freely.

As soon as the couple returned to the beach Harry knew immediately that Artemis was aware of Zoe's new status of forsaking the immortal life of a maiden. The goddess didn't mention anything beyond questioning the health of her blonde lead Hunter.
"Are you ok Zoe?" Artemis questioned her long time companion as the two children of the sea stepped out of the surf.
"I am feeling amazing my Lady," Zoe answered with a grin.
"Well we'd best be going then. This area is not all that safe at the moment," the goddess suggested as a silver chariot dropped out of the sky drawn by strikingly gorgeous deer.
The group climbed onboard the chariot before Artemis guided the craft back into the sky.
"This is like Santa Claus' sleigh," commented Bianca.
"Indeed my young Hunter…legends are most often based off of fact," Artemis pointed out with a sly grin.
"Thank you for that enchanted coat you gave me," Zoe spoke up to her new lover. "It saved my life I do believe."
"Yes…thank you Percy Jackson for saving Zoe. She is…she is very dear to me," Artemis added her thoughts on the matter, throwing an affectionate gaze at the former Hesperides.
It was at that moment that the green eyed warlock realized the moon goddess and the daughter of Atlas were lovers as well.
"Yes honey…they are lovers," Annabeth confirmed as if she sensed her mate's thoughts. "Artemis confirmed it for me after our…little power sharing."
"And thank you also for lightening the load of the sky on me through Annabeth. You are something special…for a male," the crimson haired deity added with a teasing smirk on her attractive features.
"I suppose you're alright as well for an Olympian, Artemis," the mage teased back flirtatiously.
"Oh please, would you two get a room and do it already," Thalia spoke up. "The sexual tension in this chariot is thick enough to swim through."
Artemis didn't comment on her half sister's words, instead stealing curious glances at Zoe and the water wizard that had captured the hearts of so many females.
Suddenly realizing a pressing concern regarding recent events Artemis declared, "I need to go to Olympus straight away but the way I need to go won't allow mortals to travel."
"It's alright Artemis…I'll arrange for transport for the rest of us," Harry announced as he held out his arms for his companions to grab onto.
As the group latched onto their powerful friend the sorcerer threw Artemis a mischievous wink worthy of an heir of a Marauder before flaming out of the chariot with the group.
"Definitely special," a wide eyed goddess commented before her chariot vanished from view in a flash of silver.

The sorcerer reappeared with his group inside the elevator leading from the Empire State Building up into Olympus. The conveyor was already rising. The warlock didn't have to worry about any deities spying on him because with the solstice council gearing up to start the Olympians were all fairly busy. Aphrodite was keeping her green eyed mate informed of events.
"Ok…that was a new way to travel," Bianca observed. "Could you have done that the entire time?"
"You don't want to know," Zoe answered the younger Hunter while the demigod the question was asked of simply smirked.
Just then the elevator doors opened to reveal Olympus brightly lit with torches.
"The winter solstice council of the gods has begun," Annabeth announced.
The group made their way towards the peak of the mountain to the hall of the gods. The streets were bustling with many godlings, demigods, and magical creatures. The enormous silver gates of the hall stood open when the group of quest partakers arrived so they all walked right in. A U shaped placement described the layout of the dozen large thrones surrounding a central hearth. The ceiling was enchanted like that of Hogwarts and showed the starry sky. Each throne was occupied by a deity, not all were as friendly towards the green eyed son of Poseidon as Artemis and Aphrodite.
"Welcome heroes and heroines," Artemis declared.
The hall was silent with the exception of the crackle of the hearth fire. Zeus was intently gazing at Thalia while Harry's eyes locked with his own father. The two water manipulators were both casually confident that whatever the outcome of the solstice council that the pair would come out just fine.
"My victorious young half bloods," the moon goddess began as she slipped from her thrown, turning human sized, and approached the new arrivals. "I have informed the council of all that has recently occurred." Gazing into the sorcerer's eyes Artemis projected, "Well almost all that has occurred." "They are aware of the rise of Mount Othrys along with Atlas' plot as well as the movement of Kronos' forces. The council has agreed to act."
Judging from the shifting of the council of deities not all were in agreement with Artemis' proclamation but nobody outright objected.
"At my Lord Zeus' orders Apollo and I will seek out and destroy the most powerful monsters that Kronos can induct into his armies. Lady Athena will be performing checks on the prisons of the other Titans to ensure they do not escape like Atlas attempted to do. Lord Poseidon is now free to unleash his full might on the ship Princess Andromeda. As for you five…," Artemis began before turning and facing the other deities. "These five have done Olympus a great favor…would any of you deny that?"
Artemis swept her gaze over all those immortals present; Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, Hephaestus, Ares, Hermes, Apollo, Dionysus, Demeter, Athena, and Aphrodite.
"No my sister I do not think any of us would deny their accomplishments. Well done Campers," Aphrodite praised. At the clearing of Artemis throat along with an annoyed look from the ruby haired goddess of the hunt the love goddess added, "And Hunters."
"Well then…all in favor of not disintegrating them," proposed Hermes.
Hermes' hand went up along with the hands of Aphrodite, Artemis, Zeus, and Poseidon. Several of the other gods and goddesses appeared about ready to raise their hands when Ares spoke up.
"Hold on a minute…those two are dangerous," the war god declared while pointing to Harry and Thalia. "It would be much safer while they are here to…"
"Ares we will not be annihilating any of these five…especially not my son or niece," Poseidon growled threateningly at the war god.
Zeus nodded in agreement with his brother while appearing somewhat touched that Poseidon took into account Thalia's safety as well.
"My daughter has done well and does not deserve to be harmed for her deeds," Zeus added.
"Ares does have a point," Hera spoke up while eyeing the half bloods present contemptuously.
Harry had been warned before hand by his father that this would be Hera's stance. The supposed mother of the gods wasn't actually the mother of very many of the gods present. Zeus had strayed from Hera's bed quite a few times and as a result the goddess showed at the very least contempt for half bloods.
"I find it ironic that only Hades kept his oath not to sire anymore half blood children," Hera added only to be interrupted by her nephew.
"Actually Hades did not keep his oath," the warlock declared, causing all attention to turn to him. "Bianca Di Angela and her brother Nico are the children of Hades."
"What," cried Bianca as the other deities turned their attention on the dark haired young woman.
"How can you tell?" A curious Demeter questioned.
"During our quest Atlas sent skeleton warriors after us. Bianca dispatched one with what I could sense was death magic," explained the mage.
"This is getting off topic. Poseidon's child only makes my point for me. There are far too many variables and the threat grows. The Great Prophecy speaks of their threat," Hera pointed out.
"I will not have them punished for aiding Olympus," Artemis argued.
"Nor will I," agreed Zeus. "Now what of the beast, the Ophiotaurus…where has it gone?"
"That I do not know brother…it disappeared into the oceans and as you well know I have no power to divine the location of a beast that ancient," Poseidon spoke up.
"Well the risk is great," Zeus declared. "On the morrow my daughter will turn sixteen just like the prophecy states."
"I have taken steps to ensure the one spoken of in the prophecy is determined," Poseidon announced, causing the hall to go silent.
"What steps brother?" Zeus demanded with a threatening tone.
"For well over the past year I have been training my son Percy to replace Triton as my heir. I'm sorry to inform you all that Triton has joined the enemy," the sea ruler declared, which caused an even bigger uproar.
Triton was a very old god, older than many of the gods on the council. Athena appeared most shaken and rightfully so considering Triton had fostered the goddess in her youth.
"Wait…but how does that indicate Percy is the prophesized half blood?" Athena interrupted the furious debate of the other Olympians. "He still isn't close to sixteen."
"That is where you are wrong Athena. As you are all no doubt aware there is a certain casino in Las Vegas in which time runs slower on the inside compared to the outside world. Percy and I have figured out how to reverse that effect. My son has now been sixteen for over six months. He is the one spoken of in the Great Prophecy," explained Poseidon.
The hall was silent once more as the assembled deities digested this latest news.
"This changes a great deal," Zeus finally declared, breaking the oppressive silence. "We will not be smiting any half bloods tonight. So instead we will celebrate their heroic deeds. Let the triumph celebration begin."

The party the Olympians threw was a great deal of fun for all. The god of wine provided refreshments for the attendees with his wife on his arm. Dionysus looked happy for the first time with Ariadne at his side.
Harry was constantly being congratulated by various gods and goddesses in human size. The warlock's non-Olympian lovers were off chatting with Aphrodite and Artemis when he was approached by a familiar goddess.
"So how did you manage to reverse the time dilation field?" Athena inquired as she arrived beside the green eyed boyfriend of her daughter.
"Dad wouldn't tell you would he," the warlock replied to the beautiful blonde with a smirk.
"No," the goddess of wisdom answered with an indignant huff. "Thank you for rescuing my daughter. I love Annabeth very much."
"As do I," the mage put forth.
Athena stared intently into the bright intelligent eyes of the young immortal and discerned that he was telling the truth.
"I believe you Percy Jackson. But if you hurt my daughter…no force in this world will spare you from my wrath," the goddess promised.
"Fair enough," agreed the sorcerer. "But the world is changing rapidly. Your power may not always be adequate enough. Keep in mind that it might be better to make a friend out of me rather than an enemy."
With his advice delivered the warlock left the goddess contemplating his words. The phoenix animagus walked towards the edge of the terrace where the high profile Olympian residents and their guests were celebrating. Looking over the greenery which bordered the stairs Harry was surprised to see Artemis gazing intently back up at him.
"Hello Percy, would you come with me? There's something I'd like to discuss with you," suggested the moon goddess.
"Ok," the warlock agreed as he walked around the banister and joined the goddess near the steps.
The stunning redhead led her companion down the mountainside to a more natural looking palace which happened to be situated next to Aphrodite's abode. The pair convened in a comfortable living room. The ultimate Hunter unceremoniously plopped down on the sofa and gestured for her guest to sit across from her.
"I asked you here to discuss Zoe and Annabeth. Zoe has been my companion for many millennia. Her happiness is incredibly important to me. I know she is no longer a maiden thanks to you," the Olympian explained without any accusation in her tone. "I've also thought about your comments when we first met that my post is sexist. I think you may have a point. In truth daddy did encourage me to be a virgin goddess. I've grown tired of it to be honest. Now that I'm also bonded with Annabeth I can feel what she feels for you. To get to the point I want you to make me a woman in every sense of the word."
At the conclusion of her statement the gorgeous immortal shifted in appearance slightly until she possessed the eighteen year old version of her form.
"I suspect this might make it easier for you," purred Artemis as she rose up on her knees and crawled across the couch towards the mage. "So what do you say?"
"You are absolutely stunning…you sure as hell don't have to twist my arm," was the intelligent reality traveler's answer as he reached out and welcomed the goddess into his embrace.

The next morning the group returned to Camp. Grover immediately sought out his fellow satyrs to spread the news about the encounter with the powers of Pan. The returned satyr's theory about coffee enhancing the ability to sense Pan's location had the human goat hybrid population scrambling for the caffeinated brew.
Harry, Annabeth, and Thalia were filling Chiron in on the latest events occurring on Olympus and the details of the quest.
"So that is why you have been improving so much Percy," Chiron mused as the trio of lovers finished their story. "Now that you are confirmed as the half blood of prophecy Kronos will want you dead even more."
"I can't imagine he could throw anything worse than Atlas at me," answered the mage with a shrug of indifference.
"Good point," agreed Chiron. "What are your plans for now?"
"Well I figured we'd take Nico off your hands for a while. He needs protection and training now that it has been revealed that he's the son of Hades. Bianca is safe with Artemis. We're going to go visit my mother for a while," explained the sorcerer.
"And my father," Annabeth added resolutely while feeling the emotional support of her mates over the bond they shared.
"Good…I'm glad to see you're giving things with your father another chance Annabeth," Chiron declared warmly.
Just then a shocked looking Grover stumbled into the sitting room of the Big House where the group was conversing and declared, "He spoke! Pan spoke into my mind while I was playing music and drinking coffee."
"What did he say?" A curious Harry inquired.
"Pan said only, 'I await you…'" Grover announced.
Grover's declaration foretold of an interesting rest of the year for the group of friends. It appeared as if war was upon the immortal phoenix mage and his family but they would face it together and come through having grown because of their unity.

Author's Note 2:
Well here is the final chapter of book 3. To discuss my stories and other fanfiction topics check out my Facebook group Stargatesg1fan1's Fanfiction Works and Favorites (the title on my ff . net profile is hyperlinked to the group). Another great group is Fiction Group.
I would like to take the opportunity to recommend two television shows that I think you might enjoy. Revolution and The Walking Dead are two TV shows that give us a look at what might happen after an apocalyptic event. Plus you might want to watch them because they may just appear in one of my stories in the future.
