Summary: Andy and Nick keep their relationship secret when they get back to the 15th, the one that happened in the 6months that they were undercover.

Secrets...

Andy hated surprises, Nick loved surprising her. She both hated and loved that about him. She thought that prepping with him for two months, and then living with him for four, she'd stop being surprised by him. But she never did. He made her laugh. He made this whole thing worth it. She took this gig to get away-from Sam and her broken heart-and she did. Nick took it away and she was happy again. At first, the kisses were just for show, and then they weren't-she started to anticipate them. The sex they had was fake because they didn't have it, but then they did. Andy had never felt like that before, sex with Nick wiped out any she'd had with Sam or Luke. Nick was a knew leaf for her, freshly turned over, freshly greened. She trusted him as much as she could when she was held down to the floor and he was pointing a gun at her head. She had been scared-of course she was-he was panicked as well. But he said to trust him, and she did. If she hadn't, they would have both been killed. That empty click made her heart stop, but he started it again. They ran together, hand-in-hand and hid in an empty truck. She yelled at him, her face still yet from the tears she had cried when he held the gun to her head. But then he took her face, looked her in the eyes and crushed his lips to hers. And she no longer wanted to punch him in the face as much for doing that to her. Her eyes slipped closed and her arms wrapped around his neck as she kissed him back. There was banging outside the door and they jerked apart, sharing a look.

"Ready to fight?" He asked.

"Don't count on me going down without one." She replied.

They shared a firm nod and readied at the door. Someone started to shove it open, but they shoved in back down.

"McNally?"

Andy sucked in a breath and pulled the door open, and there stood Sam. She smiled in relief and he smiled back. She felt all the old emotions that Nick had helped chase away. She looked at him from the corner of her eye and saw the sad and resigned look in his eyes. And seeing that look chased away any residue of feelings she had for him. She looked back at Sam, gave him a friendly smiled saying all was forgiven and cool between them, before grabbing Nick's hand and pulling him after her. When they got back to the precinct, they said hello to everyone. Afterward, she went to see Sam, just to explain. But then she saw him kissing the new cop that replaced Noelle and she realized then that she loved Nick and had fallen out of it with Sam. Sam saw her and she gave him an indifferent shrug before turning away and going to find Nick. She found him just as he caught up with Gail, she punched him in his good eye, she then grinned, patted him on the shoulder and left. Andy winced in sympathy as she walked up to him. She gently took his hand away from his eye, and knew that in an hour or so, it would mirror his other eye.

"Maybe don't approach her directly head-on next time." She suggested.

"You're right, surprises suck." He intoned.

She took his hand and gave it a squeeze, before leading him away.

"Told you: Change is always the way to go."
