Gail and Holly meet in Ottawa, both are students at university. Gail has gotten a summer job as a member of the Ceremonial Guard. Holly's from Ottawa and is home for the summer where she is volunteering and observing at a physical therapy office.

This is an AU story. Definitely McSwarek. Andy and Sam are both 18 and finishing their final semester of high school. Sam lives in a new foster home and has been trying to get his shit together after being caught stealing and selling car parts. Andy is just trying to finish school with her sanity and keep her dad from drinking himself to death.

Toronto might be in the grip of a pandemic but Detective Gail Peck still has to front up for work. A call out to a homicide brings her face to face (or should that be mask to mask) with someone she hasn't seen for four long years

Takes place after 4x01. A body is found at the park, and it turns out to be an old friend of Gails. Which leads to a lot of mystery and a lot of pretending from Gail, who knows more than she's letting on. Gail tries to figure out how to proceed from here, but what she didn't plan on was accidentally dragging a forensics pathologist into this potentially dangerous situation.

This story is a future fic. It starts with Sam Swarek's daughter. It takes place around the time of the finale after she was born. Just my thoughts on baby girl Swarek's name and why she was named that. Then we dive into McSwarek life. Enjoy!

Post 5x03: An unexpected loss strikes the Peck family, forcing the remaining members to band together to try to make sense of it. It will be a struggle, and there will be a lot of emotions, varying from anger, sadness and loneliness. [told mainly through Gail's POV, but may briefly take on multiple POVs throughout, focusing on family and relationships].

Andy and Sam take a pregnancy test. Set after the final episode.

Five years have passed since Gail Peck has seen Holly Stewart. The cop has a stable life with a new family. It may not be perfect but she figures it's working. When a chance meeting with the doctor Gail could never forget threatens to destroy it all, Gail finds herself struggling with whether she should keep it together or let it fall apart. Back from a gruelling undercover op, Gail is summonsed to the Peck residence for the first cocktail party Elaine has thrown since Steve went to prison. The night doesn't exactly pan out as Gail imagined. (Complete for now but there may be a sequel)

Holly is back. And she keeps fighting for Gail. So why is the blonde so resistant? Is it really so hard to accept the goodness in life? To let the anger go and be happy again?
