The Dream still soars!

Tai was sound asleep in his room. By habit at this point he woke up. This was usually the time Ash would train. He snuck out and peeked into Ash's room he wasn't there but he heard something outside. Peeking out the window he saw that Ash and Pikachu were running back towards the house.

"He must have been out for a while." Tai sighed as he left the room however he had only gotten to the point where the top of the stairs was visible when Ash came in.

"Tai?" he asked.

"Yeah it's me still doing training?" Tai asked.

"Yeah," Ash replied as he climbed the stairs. "We're, back home and Cipher's gone, but I'm still in training mode."

"It's barely been twenty four hours since we got home." Tai pointed out. "Have you figured out where you want to go next?"

"Hmmm, I'm not sure. As we both know Unova's out and the Coliseum tournament's been canceled till they sort things out with Phenac." Ash replied.

"Yeah, it's not like we would've been able to get into the Orre Coliseum anyway. Michael said you need to win at the other Coliseums to get into that one." Tai replied.

"Right…." Ash replied.

"You know Alexa came from a place called Kalos, you should talk to her and see if there's a league there." Tai suggested. "She's gonna be talking to Professor Oak today. Let's go see her she can tell you more about the Kalos region like when the league season starts."

"Sounds good," Ash said brightening up a little. "I've been, wanting to see my other Pokemon anyway."

"Give you a chance to relax too let's go!" Tai said rushing out the door.

Ash followed and went after Tai ascending the hill to the Laboratory. Ash couldn't help but smile there was a moment where he thought he'd never see it again. But there it was and it was thanks to Tai.

As they walked the Windmill was soon coming into view slowly spinning in the wind as they got to closer they heard laughing coming from close to the fence.

"That sounds like Professor Oak!" Ash stated as they run forward and watched from the fence. They could see Professor Oak riding on a large brown goat like Pokemon with a green strip of green leaves down it's back with lighter tan fur on the bottom side. They were currently running around the yard.

"He's riding on Gogoat!" Ash stated smiling.

"That looks so much fun! I want to do it too!" Tai stated as he ran in but Ash grabbed him. "Hey relax."

"Alright…" Tai sighed. They knocked on the door. They heard footsteps coming towards them and the door opened to show Tracey.

"Ash, Tai hey!" he said brightening up.

"Hey Tracey!" Tai replied.

"We came to talk to Alexa." Tai replied.

"Oh yeah, she mentioned the Kalos league before you wanted to learn more about it right?" Tracey asked.

"Yeah, Ash is looking for somewhere to go next." Tai replied. "We were hoping Alexa could tell us something."

"Of course come on in!" Tracey said as they entered. Tai and Ash followed him out to the backyard where they saw Gogoat jump.

"Whoa look at them go!" Tai stated.

"That looks like a lot of fun!" Ash agreed.

"Heelloooooo!" Oak called as Gogoat jumped one last time. "Ash and Tai what brings you here?" he asked from on Gogoat.

"Greeeeeee." Gogoat baaed.

"I was, wanting to talk to Alexia about the Kalos league. I think that's where I want to go next." Ash replied.

"Oh really, come on let's talk." Alexia replied as she and Ash went off to speak about the Kalos region.

"Hey Professor, why doesn't the Unova allow foreign Pokemon?" Tai asked as Professor Oak climbed down.

"It's a bit of pride." Professor Oak replied. "Years ago, trainers kept to their own region and it was decided that Champions were Pokemon masters of their regions. As time went on what it meant to be a Pokemon Master began to change. People started exploring more of the world and learning much about each other however while Unova did allow trainers to leave they refused to allow outsiders to participate in their league tournaments. "Unova's was the first league to be established so it should carry on this old tradition."

"That's stupid you're just being dumb and telling people no you can't come unless you start from scratch. For Ash starting at Zero is just and Pikachu."

"This is true." Professor Oak replied. "But more and more people are demanding the rule be repealed one could say it's only a matter of time Mr. Good show is very stubborn but persuasive."

"Yay! I want Ash to go to the Unova region he seemed pretty disappointed when he was basically told no and I think it threw his groove." Tai replied.

"Raf!" Rio replied.

Oak nodded but watched as Ash and Alexia talked. "I think it might be something else personally."

"Huh?" Tai asked.

"Never mind, why don't you go introduce your Pokemon to the others?" Professor Oak suggested.

"Alright," Tai cheered running off. He saw some of Ash's Hoenn and Johto Pokemon, "HEEEYYYYY!" Tai called. They called out to him. Tai quickly released his Pokemon.

POP! All this Pokeballs opened to reveal his Team.

"Viiizzza!" Geon called out.

"Charmander!" Blaze roared.

"Mudkip!" he happily greeted.

"Ches Chespin!" he cheered.

"De-Dedenne!" Blitz called happily.

"Oooh! Tai my boy you came across some really rare Pokémon!"

"Yeah, they're all rescues actually. Spike, Blaze and Muddy were on the S.S Libra. Michael thinks that Blitz was on there too but wasn't accounted for. That or she was smuggled to Orre for the Black market and got away. We found her living inside a music hall." Tai replied. The other Pokemon cheered as greeted the new comers, and began to play.

"I see, well they both look very healthy." Oak replied.

As Professor Oak examined them all, Tai did he looked over at Ash who seemed to perk up at things Alexia was telling him. "Wow amazing!" Ash said in awe.

The group, were being watched by Team Rocket, however. "There they are!" James stated excited.

"Let's end off our Orre mission with a bang capturing all the twerps Pokemon from the lab!" Jesse declared.

"Rodger!" Meowth stated as the snuck away to prepare.

Ash was soon done talking and released his own Party out into the field. They let out their respective cries.

"Hey you guys I wanted to thank you all for you help in the Sinnoh League sorry it took me so long." Ash replied half sheepishly. "I also want to thank you for being ready to and helping out in Orre, thanks to all our hard work, Cipher's gone! The Shadow Pokémon, are being cured as we speak and The Secret International Police made sure to wipe everything on Shadow Pokémon and how to make them. No one has to worry about something like this ever happening again!"

At this Tai and Ash's Pokémon erupted into a roar of triumph it wasn't a league trophy, but the feeling that because of them their fellow Pokémon and the world itself, could sleep soundly a little while longer made them feel proud!

"Tai, Ash!" Alexia called with Helioptile on her bag.

"Alexia, hey!" Tai called as they came up to the reporter, Helioptile had come up to Ash but not Tai, thing was, they were a little shy of each other as Helioptile was shy around new people. Tai wasn't in the past and pouted when it stayed away from him. But because of the last Helioptile he met….

"Hey everyone I was just finishing up the article." Alexia said.

"That's great! Professor Oak was wondering, if he could meet Noivern." Ash replied.

"I see, well…you might find it a bit overwhelming." Alexia replied.

"Overwhelming is accurate." Tai said grinning.

"Alexia's Noivern is really, really strong." Ash replied.

"Sweet," Tai cheered. "Please Alexia let Professor Oak see Noivern! It's really really cool!"

"Alright, since it's popular demand." Alexia replied, "Noivern come on out!"

POP! "VERRRRRRNNNN!" he shrieked.

Professor Oak, squeed like a Fanboy.,"Isn't it awesome?!" Ash asked excitedly.

"Amazing! I have only seen Pictures of this Pokemon! This has got to be the greatest day ever!" Oak stated. "Impressive." He muttered moving one of Noivern's wings. Like Tai had done on Knot Island he too stuck his head in Noivern's ear over excited.

"Professor!" Tai, Delia, Ash and Alexia shouted Oak merely pulled his out head out and that was all he had time for.

"VEERRRRRRRRRNNN!" he shouted unleashing Boomburst.

"I warned you." Alexia replied.

"Well, some lessons you can't learn without pain. This is especially true when dealing with Pokémon. They're extremely complex after all." Oak replied. All of a sudden Noivern bit his head. "WAAAAHAHAAAAA!"

"Professor!" Tai, Ash and Delia shouted out.

"Noivern! Have a Spelon berry!" Alexia replied acting like lightning and once Noivern let go and gobbled up the berry she recalled it.

"See I told you. Are you alright Professor?" Alexia asked as he rubbed his head.

"Excellent! To truly understand a Pokémon's power, you must experience it, first hand; it's one of my primary research tools and it works. I wear my scars like a badge of honor." Oak stated into the camera.

"That's amazing Professor." Alexia stated as she recorded him talking. Tai and Ash were in the background as he continued to tell about his research. Ash was suddenly dog piled by a large yellow dinosaur like Pokemon with a collar of curled up leaves and a large leave with a hole in it on it's head.

As Oak and Alexia continued to talk, Ash was suddenly plowed down by a yellow Dinosaur like Pokemon with a necklace of Green leaves curled up like they're getting ready to sprout. On it's head was a large leaf with a small hole on the side.

"BEEEY!" she cheered nuzzling him.

"Hi Bayleef." Ash sighed sweatdropping as she had basically landed and was now sitting on his chest.

"Aww she missed you!" Tai stated half-teasingly.

"Yeah…I…noticed…" he huffed as he hugged Bayleef.

Tai grinned as his own Pokemon gathered around him. However coming forward were a couple of aliens who suddenly pushed everyone forward, all of Ash and Tai's Pokemon, Pikachu (Who was plucked off his shoulder) Beyleef and Tai's himself. "Hey what are you doing!?" Ash shouted rushing after them only to get hit with a bunch of sticky gum and fall back.

"Ack let me up!" Ash screamed as smoke engulfed all the Pokemon and Tai. They were soon visible in a a strange looking glass almost electric cage.

"Not them again!" Tai growled from the inside.

"You've acknowledge those few dare to face." Jesse declared.

"We'll tell you our names as is the task." James stated.

"A force that strikes fear in the Hearts of the Valiant!" Jesse recited.

"Snuffing out the light to bring forth the Shadows!" James added.

"You'll fear us for eternity!" Meowth finished.

"Blazing Destruction across the sky Jesse!"

"Thunderous strength that quakes the Earth I am James!"

"Wisdom deeper than the sea Meowth!"

"Remember this Name! Team Rocket!" they shouted.

POP!" Wobbuffet.

"Let us out of here now!" Tai shouted.

"Pika Pika!" Pikachu shouted.

"Rowwwooo!" Rio howled.

"What self-respecting Team Rocket member would give back a massive jackpot?" Jesse stated.

"And with our new hi-tech Balloon you'll be back with the boss in no time!" Meowth stated pressing a button removing the basket like layer to reveal a metal box with wings jutting from it that blasted away.

"Follow them Noivern!" Alexia shouted throwing a Pokeball.

POP! "NOOOIIIVER!" he shouted rushing from his Pokeball and following.

"Now Helioptile use Thunderbolt to burn away that gum!" Alexia ordered.

"Rotom you too!" Oak shouted throwing a Pokeball. The two Pokemon got side by side as Rotom appeared. With a cry they unleashed the electric attack that melted away at the Gum allowing Ash to stand and rush after the balloon as quickly as he could before the others could say anything.

Noivern was coming in closer to the cage. "Doesn't that glorified Zubat know when to give up?" Jesse growled.

"That's why we have this!" James shouted throwing a cube at Noivern and a net came out and ensnared itself around Noivern a rope attached to the net making him hang by the cage.

"Noivern!" Tai shouted in concern pressed against the glass he growled looking towards a familiar mountain range. He took a step back gulping in fear however he sighed. "I've gotta do something…." He looked up at the cage. He thought back to their battle with Greevil. "It can't take us all! Everyone aim for the top and use your attacks."

Everyone nodded and looked up unleashing their attacks at the top of the cage. They bounced off seemed to be doing Damage in fact Tai was watching carefully he grinned when he saw a crack. "Keep going we've almost got it!" Tai shouted. With a mightier cry the Pokemon roared putting more power into their attacks.

From above Team Rocket were focused on getting to the base however Jesse's ears perked up to what sounded like cracking. "Something's breaking!" she said looking around. "Where is that sound coming from?!" she growled until she looked over the basket and gasped. "OH CRAP OH CRAP OH CRAP! THEY'RE BREAKING THROUGH!"

"WHAT?!" The boys shouted.

Cracks began to engulf the glass and instantly it shattered. Causing everyone to fall out. "WAaaahhh!" Tai cried as he dove for his Pokemon and Grabbed them. As they fell Infernape grabbed them and helped them to the ground nimbly jumping down branches as Bulbasaur Some of the Pokemon clung to Swellow and Starraptor as they fell. Bayleef and Bulbasaur used their vine whip to get down as Sceptile helped Corphish and Torkoal down.

"Wait where are-" All the Tauros landed behind them with a thud on their feet. "Never mind, wait Noivern!" Tai shouted looking back at the Balloon which had a struggling Noivern and Team Rocket glaring down at them.

"How dare you break that cage do you have any idea how much it cost?!" Jesse snarled.

"Not my problem!" Tai growled. "But what is my problem is Noivern! Let him go!"

"Not on your life!" Jesse shouted but suddenly the ropes around Noivern snapped allowing it to get free. With a roar he flew up almost jump scaring the TRio he lunged at James biting onto James head making him flail with Jesse and Meowth trying to get Noivern off of him. Tai and the Pokemon watched as the balloon bounced about and flailed until a boomburst destroyed the Balloon. Then the wings snapped by running into a nearby tree as it flew right over Tai's head. Everyone ducked as it crashed. And slid a few feet away. Team Rocket didn't seem to notice as they fought with Noivern.

"Well this is happening." Tai muttered as they all stared stunned. Tai suddenly noticed a strange looking tree hanging from it were red pepper looking berries with spikes on them. "Hey Noivern!" he shouted rushing to grab a berry and held it up waving. "I found Spelon berries!"

Noivern's ears twitched he looked up and let go of James's head who looked over looking like Bart Simpson as he watched Noivern fly to Tai who threw it at the tree Noivern followed it and ate the berry then perched itself in the tree. Eating the Berries as Team Rocket sighed in relief.

"I'm glad that's over…" James sighed.

"Yeah but the Twerp's Pokemon are right in front of us." Meowth stated staring at Tai and Co nervously.

"Ehhhh…." James muttered.

"Yeah…. It's about that time…" Jesse stated eye twitching as a blast of all the attacks hit them exploding sending them flying.

"TEAM ROCKET'S BLASTING OFF AGAAAAIIIIINN!" they shouted as they flew.

"Tai!" Ash shouted as Tai turned and waved.

"Everyone's okay even Noivern! Look over there!" Tai stated as they looked to see Noivern asleep in the tree with the berries around him.

"Good thing for Team Rocket," Alexia sighed. "We saw the Balloon start to crash with Noivern on it."

"You did?" Tai asked.

"Yeah we weren't that far behind you." Ash replied.

"I see. And yeah Team Rocket got lucky any longer and James would be having to carry his head."

Later that night Ash was sitting in a tree in the ranch staring up at the moon. He hummed as Pikachu sat beside him deep in thought.

"Ash my boy," Oak called making him look down.

"Hey Professor Oak," Ash replied.

"What are you doing out here alone?" Oak asked.

"Just thinking," Ash replied.

"I see…" Oak hummed. "Would you say your loss to Tobias frustrated you?" He asked.

"Huh? Well…" Ash sighed looking up. "In a way, but I can't get mad at him for the Pokémon he chose there's no rules against it and it was his choice…But that was the farthest I ever got….so I can't help but be a little frustrated."

"Hmm you're getting there Ash. I can understand being knocked out so quickly after such a difficult victory being frustrating. But I'm proud you showed such good sportsmenship Ash."

"Thanks Professor." Ash replied smiling. He looked back to the moon. "I wonder what dads doing now…"

"If you're worried about turning out like him Ash," Oak said worriedly but Ash cut him off.

"I'm not, looking back at how I used to be makes me cringe honestly. But after beating a Latios and Darkrai which was unbeatable…it shows how far I've come I'm proud of that. "

Oak nodded in agreement. "You've come a long way Ash. Me, your, mother, your friends, your Pokemon, and I are very proud of you. And all of Pallet knows you'll continue to reach new heights."

"Thank you Professor….I'm going to train harder! I'm going to try to the win the league next time, you with me Pikachu?" Ash asked.

"Pikachu!" he stated vigorously.

"That's the Spirit! I take it that means you'll be going to Kalos soon?" Oak asked.

"You bet!" Ash stated grinning.

"Amazing, thank you so, so much!" Tai cheered admiring his new outfit, it was a shirt with a red denim over top with an orange red for the bottom and collar as well as pocket tips the rest of the pockets and shirt were striped black to white going vertically on the sleeves and horizontally on the pockets and torso.

His pants were brown jeans with a lighter shade on the cuffs. His sneakers were grey with a couple black shapes on the tips and sides with a red shape in the middle the white shoe laces were over a red tougue. His fingerless gloves were grey with black rims and finally his hat like before it was a brimless cap white with a blue hourglass shape with a sky blue Pokeball in it there was also a grey stripe around the bottom. The Goggles last but not lease were a pointed oval shape like a mask with the lenses black rims and a silver grey strap.

Ash grinned and thanked Delia as well. His new outfit was a black T-shirt with white sleeves. Over it was a short-sleeved blue jacket, with a white circle on the top of the chest. With a white stripe going down and across the bottom and up under the arms and down the tops of them as well. It was a lot like the shirt Tai had been wearing. His Jeans were a navy color he had brand new red and black shoes and black fingerless gloves with red rims. And to top it off his hat was red with a white half circle hovering above the white brim.

Tai hugged Delia in delight while Rio cheered. "You two look really stunning." Alexia stated.

"Heli Helioptile!" he agreed.

"Thanks Alexia." Ash stated.

"I thought you guys might want to go right after Christmas so I got to work on them. I got held back so I couldn't give them as gifts thought." Delia replied.

"That's okay." Ash replied,

"Totally, I'm so excited I wish we could go now!" Tai cheered.

"Now, now, Tai, one step at a time," Oak replied.

"I know," Tai sighed halfheartedly.

"Are you two excited?" Delia asked.

"Yeah!" the two replied.

"You've done well, instrumentally causing the down fall of Team Cipher. And you have found that Aura 001 still lives. "Giovanni noted.

Jessie, James and Meowth were bawling tears of joy. "Oh man, just hearing dose words brings a tear to my eye!"

"WOBBBAAAA!" Wobuffet stated waterfall tears falling from its eyes.

"It's a great Time to be alive!" Jessie stated.

"EVERYTHING WE WENT THROUGH FINALLY PAID OFF! UH HUH HUH HUH!" James wept streams of tears coming from his eyes.

"Now, for your next assignment, you will be heading to this region." Giovanni replied.

"That snapped the three back into Reality and they stood attention and watched as Giovanni showed them a map of Kalos. "There is something of extreme interest in this region. They call it Mega Evolution there is also a legend about a legendary Pokemon with the power to steal life."

"The Power to steal life?" Jessie stated as James and Meowth perked up in this.

"Yes," Giovanni smirked viciously, "Something of that caliber, along with Aura 001's raw power will make taking over the world effortless."

"Okay but do we do about said Aura 001?" Jessie asked.

"I've assigned the task of his capture to two other operatives; you're familiar with them, Butch and Cassidy."

"HIIIEEH!" the two went inside however kept composure outside.

"Oh, we are very familiar with them." Jessie replied as James chuckled with gritted teeth as they did what they could to bottle their rage.

"Good, you leave tomorrow morning. And I trust you'll be accomplishing more than just the mission?" Giovanni asked.

"You bet!" Jessie stated.

"We'll even get that Pikachu that's evaded us for so long!" James stated only for Jessie to practically strangle him while covering his mouth.

"What he means is a Pikachu that we've only seen in the Orre and Sinnoh regions ha, ha, ha." Jessie chuckled.

"Good. Go get prepared." Giovanni replied.

"Yes sir!" they stated together.

Tai stood at his plane having said goodbye to Ash. "You've got everything?" Delia asked.

"Yup," Tai replied.

"And remember change your, you know what every day." Delia added.

"Yeah," Tai sighed. "Love you, mom! Bye Professor!" Tai stated as he rushed towards his seat he took a moment to gaze in awe at the inside. He found his seat W-2 he sat down and grinned. "This is so exciting!"

"Raaauuu!" Rio replied as they sat eventually the plane took off and the two fell asleep but they missed these words.

"Thank you for choosing, Indigo Airlines this is our non-stop flight to Kalos, about eight and a half hours our inflight movies are…"

Tai grinned rushing out of the plane, Rio right at his heels. "HELLOOOOO, SINNN-oh….." in front of the duo was a map of Kalos. "Rio, I think we got on the wrong plane…."

And with that the revision for Shadow Revolution is finally done. I'm going to take the rest of the week off from revising before beginning on Bond of Aura which I've decided to change the Title of too Aura: The Boy of Mystery (Don't be afraid to give me a better Title) Then I have to put up the new slight revision Chapter for Digimon TG2 once that's done and the next chapter of YX is out I'll begin working on the Sequel to the Legend of Serena story I wrote three years ago….
