Cilan was accused of being the father to both Larxene's son and Xion's daughter. But the doctor had discovered that Cilan was infertile, thus it was impossible for Cilan to be the father. Ash wanted to be happy for Kamon, but Ash was a man of honour. He was the only person who was confident right from the start that Cilan was innocent. Everybody got what they wanted in the end. But it didn't mean that things went plain sailing. People got executed, another war broke out. Cilan had to fake his own death. Kamon was killed trying to save a friend, who would eventually get executed for treason. Despite it all, Ash still managed to help May contain her throne. Giovanni got to be king, but didn't live long enough to enjoy it. Iris and Cilan got back together whilst Ash and May remained as powerful as ever. Ash was now the king of Kanto. It turned out that he was the true king the whole time. May Arceus continue to bless us with eternal life.

As I saw three clouds shaped as triangles which resembled the Triforce, I knew that Link and Zelda were proud.
