Hey everyone! The new software/notepad app I was using to write my chapters was ruining my writing by autocorrecting words, etc. I bought a new laptop, so I don't have the old software I'm used to.

I took the last update down because I wasn't particularly proud of it, and some reviewers didn't like it (readability issues). I don't know if I'll write more to this story. I feel obligated to tell you how it ends.

I imagine Ed matures through the rest of the pregnancy, Al and May are able to get to know the child more through energy studies, and it causes a little bit of conflict with Ed and Winry because they're the parents, and they want to know as much as they can. When it comes to labor and birth, it goes as well as it can because it lasts 9 hours. It's a baby boy. Ed doesn't panic when they bring the baby home. He's a little bit anxious because he's never done this before, but he's matured enough to realize that it's going to be okay. Winry and Ed take turns in the night taking care of the baby, and Winry learns to love Ed even more as the father of their child.

The child is well loved, and everyone comes to visit over a period of time. The baby recognizes Al and May from days in the womb, and the two are able to start a thesis for all this research.

After two years, Ed and Winry have another child, a baby girl. The only thing complicating the pregnancy is that Winry has a little one to take care of while being pregnant. Ed helps a lot more around the home, saying no to a few business trips so that he can properly take care of the family. The baby girl displays similar behavior when Al and May come to visit early in the pregnancy. Al proposes to May, and the two continue to work on the first thesis for research.

Granny watches over the first child when Winry goes into labor with the baby girl. Ed adores the little girl after she is born, and he teaches his son how to be nice to his new sister. The baby girl is around a year old when Al and May get married.

Ed and Winry successfully navigate the toddler years, having birthday parties, etc. Eventually, when the kids are old enough, Ed and Winry start to tell them stories of Ed and Uncle Al's adventures.

Al and May experience a miscarriage, and Ed, Winry, and family go to visit them in Xing. Uncle Ling becomes the coolest thing ever to the kids, and there are a few adventures in the palace.

The kids start going to school, and Ed and Winry suddenly have lots more time to focus back on work and each other. They continue to grow together. Both the children show talent for alchemy, but the girl favors Alkahestry more. Ed wants to raise them the way his father didn't, and tries to teach them true alchemy, pulling on life experiences.

Al and May get pregnant, and the entire family visits Xing to meet the baby cousin. Al and May talk about moving back to Amestris to be closer to Ed and family, and they end up buying some land about 10 minutes away from where Ed and Winry are. They could build a house using alchemy, but Al decides to go traditional to build the house. The couple with their new baby visit Ed and Winry for extended periods while the house is being built.

Al and May successfully move into their new house, and now the cousins can see each other even more often. May gets a lot of mom tips from Winry, and the two bond as sisters-in-law.

Discipline learned from alchemy lessons with Ed teach the children well as they reach the teenage years, and Winry becomes frustrated that they've grown so fast.

After the kids grow up and are gone, they still call home with life questions, and it turns out that being a parent never really ends. Ed and Winry have lots more time together, and they never regret choosing each other to be life's partner in the journey of parenthood.
