Author's note: So...this is the last chapter. Yup.

I know - it's strange. But as I've said, the story will continue in a sequel coming to you readers very soon!

Uhh...what happend?

It's so dark here.

Hey, why is everything so...quiet? Where is my inner head voice? Voice? Voice, where art thou?

Hello?

Am I….alone?

ONCE UPON A TIME –

Huh?

-THERE LIVED A BIG FLOCK OF LITTLE LAMBS-

Oh shit, I'm one of those lambs! Look at me, I'm all fuzzy!

-AND THEY LOVED TO FROLICK ON A GRASSY HILL EVERY DAY AND TO THINK ABOUT NOTHING BUT FOOD AND FUN ALL DAY LONG-

Ahhh yeah, this is fun! Having hooves is a lot less complicated than I expected! Hey, what was I before being a lamb? I know I was something wearing a bra-

-AND THEY LIVED A PEACEFUL EXISTANCE WITHOUT ANYTHING TO CHALLENGE THEIR BELIEVES OR VIEWS OF LIFE AT ALL, YES IT WAS SURE FUN TO BE A SWEET, DOCILE LITTLE LAMB-

Yaaaaaaaaay!

-BUT ONE DAY, A TERRIBLE NEWCOMER ENTERED THEIR VALLEY WITH ITS EYES ON THE HILL. THE LAMBS ALL SHUDDERED AND STILLED AS THE FEARSOME CREATURE LOOMED APART FROM THEIR GROUP-AND IT SHOUTED-

GRRRRRRAAAA.

Wahhh, he looks scary. But also somehow….familiar. Man, being a lamb is hard work. Funny how I can almost touch him, despite being so far away. Hmm. I wonder what those strange blue and red blinking lights are…

-WHICH OR WIZARD THEY DID NOT KNOW, BUT HE HAD LONG, SHARP CLAWS AND A BLACK CAPE THAT TRAILED BEHIND HIM LIKE WET TAR. THE MONSTEROUS THING LOOKED UP AT THE LAMBS, BEGGING THEM TO COME CLOSER. BUT THE LAMBS HAD BEEN TAUGHT WELL TO WATCH OUT FOR STRANGERS, AND SO THEY DID NOT TRUST THIS NEWCOMER IN THE LEAST. THAT MADE THE MONSTER VERY SAD, FOR HE WAS ALL ALONE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL, AND NOBODY WOULD SIT BY HIS SIDE.

Awww. Not even a squirrel?

-NOT EVEN A SQUIRREL.

- BUT ONE OF THE LAMBS WAS DIFFERENT THAN THE OTHERS-

Oh wait, that's me right?

-AND SHE DID NOT SEE WHAT THE OTHER LAMBS SAW. SHE SAW HIS OUTSTRETCHED (ALBEIBT CLAWED) HAND AND ASSUMED THAT HE WANTED TO PET HER SOFT FUZZY HEAD. SO OFF SHE WENT DOWN THE HILL, THE OTHER LAMBS SCREAMING FOR HER TO RETURN.-

Shut up bitches, this lamb wants to be petted and besides, I don't see what's so damn threatening. Off we go!

- AND AS THE LAMB GOT EVER CLOSER, THE MONSTER GRINNED WIDER AND WIDER, ITS TOUNGE LOLLING OUT TO ONE SIDE, ITS EYES BLAZING. BUT SUDDENLY, THE LAMB STOPPED A FEW FEET AWAY, STARING UP AT THE MONSTER WITH A QUIZZICAL TILT OF ITS HEAD. –

"Uh, mr monster? I feel like I've met you before. I used to be far less four legged, I think. "

- THE MONSTER LOOKED DOWN AT THE TINY LAMB, ITS MOUTH OPENING AND CLOSING STRANGELY BEFORE IT ANSWERED HER IN A CALM AND EEERIE VOICE-

"Before the potted tulips stood on the windowsill."

- THE LAMB LAUGHED MERRILY AND THUMPED ONE HOOF IN THE GRASS-

"Oh yes of course – silly lamb am I."

-THEN THE LAMB CROSSED THE REMAINING DISTANCE BETWEEN HERSELF AND THE MONSTER, LETTING ITS LARGE HAND REST ON HER HEAD, DESPITE THE OTHER LAMBS PLEAS AND CRIES THAT SHE SHOULD NOT-

Okay. Ow. Ow. That hurts Mr. Monster – your hand is hurting me – although I don't know how.

-THE MONSTER LOOKED DOWN AT THE LAMB, ITS EYES BLAZING FIRE, BUT A SAD KIND THAT LOOKED COLD LIKE THE MOON.

"That is because I've bitten you, my child."

-THE LAMB GASPED IN SHOCK, BUT FOUND THE MATTER MORE SUPRISING THAN FRIGHTENING.

Why would you do THAT?

-THE MONSTER SOUNDED VERY STRANGE WHEN HE NEXT SPOKE IN HIS MIGHTY,DEEP VOICE. HE ALMOST SOUNDED LIKE HE THOUGHT THE LAMB HE WAS TRYING TO SAVE WAS A BIT OF AN IDIOT.

"That's because I'm trying to save you, dummy."

It's funny. I've never had a dream like this. I feel sort of detached from everything, yet also awake. And there's something...

It feels like I've just lived through the most intense PMS experience of my life, I'm sore all over. But there's no pain, now. I'm just...floating. Thinking.

Flourcesent bubbles fly past me. I can't make out my own reflection in them, they go by too fast. I feel...lost, in here. Afraid. Outcast.

But there's someone else here too, in the quiet. A ghost. No. Not a ghost - not to me. I know him - and he knows me.

I feel my eyelids fluttering.

It's time to wake up.
