"Captain Phoenixir! We're coming up on The Fanfiction World." Lady Red Scythe said from her Navigation and targeting station.

"Roger that Miss Red Scythe," Phoenixir said from their chair. "Mister Wind Wolf, load the package."

"Aye, Captain Phoenixir, loading stories now." Storm Wind Wolf said as he loaded three stories into the Story canon and locked them in. "Stories ready to launch Captain."

"Lock onto the Update Server Miss Red Scythe," Phoenixir ordered.

"Target Locked!"

"Visual confirmed, Captain."

"Fire three!" Phoenixir commanded.

Three bursts of power were launched at the update server.

Then it was silent on the ship while they waited.

A cybernetic voice rang out from the ships speakers, "Package received. Digital ninja squad: updated. The Demure, the wild, and the beautiful: updated. Council of Pokéladies: published.

"Good work team. Now it's time to head to fictionpress. Miss Red Scythe, set a course," Phoenixir said.

"Aye, Phoenixir-sama!" Lady red scythe complied

-1 week later-

Neji had found a strange egg in the middle of his courtyard 3 weeks ago. He was curious as to what would hatch into.

He was in his room, sulking about the main house, when suddenly a bright light appeared from the egg and subsequently, for lack of a better word, exploded.

When the light died down Neji found himself wearing a pair of wrap around visor that had buttons on the sides and a metal and plastic bracer that had strange symbols inscribed all over it on his right forearm (A/n: Behold! The D-visor and the input loader; together they make the D-quip digivice!) and an ornate heart-like symbol on the back of his left. He looked at where the egg was and saw what looked like a gelatinous seed with eyes and a mouth. Information flashed across the screen of his visor

**Nyokimon a seed digimon that has the potential to evolve into dragon digimon as well as plant digimon its personality is extremely gentle. And because it is a baby its offensive ability is non existant. The Nyokimon line's greatest power comes from love**

"Well Nyokimon, it looks like fate has chosen me to make you stronger."

Nyokimon conveyed her doubt with a look.

Choji had already received his input loader on his left forearm, D-visor( a combination of over the head headphones and separated goggle lenses) a golden ring that he wore on his right middle finger that was inscribed with the digicode for hope, and a tattoo of a sun setting on a ribbon on his right forearm. He was in the kitchen of his family's house making himself a sandwich, when a Flash of Light appeared.

5 rings similar to the one on his hand 3 feet across and five inches thick inscribed with the digicode for digital monster inscribed across them appeared, stacked on top of each other, appeared and disappeared in another flash leaving behind a Tokomon.

Suffice to say they made quick friends.

Kiba having received a cool eye piece that went over his right eye (it's called a D-glass, think an orange scanner from DBZ) and square device approximately the size and appearance of a zippo lighter except when he flipped it open there was a button, small screen-like thing, and wheel switch inside instead of a flame vent and a wheel switch (Behold The Advance D-quip). When he flicked the wheel switch the device projected multiple holographic screens.(A/n: Artistic liberties! You gotta love them) One displayed multiple points of view in sections. The section in the middle showed a battle against a giant snake, a giant rhinoceros beetle, a giant tiger, a giant lizard and a living tree, from a first person point of view. This screen section was highlighted in orange.

Another screen had what looked like a radar with five symbols two suns on a ribbon, two stylized hearts, and the other an orange stylized sun like the tattoo that apeared on the area around his left eye yesterday. Another screen showed symbols and divided as if they were keys on a keyboard.

Another showed a picture with current specs and health and what looked like a dinosaur. Printed clearly in Katakana under the picture was:

Name: Daihidama

Species: Greymon

Level: Adult

Status: In battle

Partner: Inuzuka Kiba

Stress: Maximum

Evolution progress: Warning! This Greymon is on the Dark threshold! Be advised!

Energy: 5% and waning!

Another was a blank screen.

Suddenly all the screens, except three, changed to Warning screens.

Warning! Warning! Your Greymon has experienced Dark Evolution! Either head to the location of Skullgreymon or retreat immediately!

The point of view screen had the middle screen section expand and take up the whole screen.

It showed all the previous enemies being ripped apart by hands of bone. And a roar was heard.

The radar screen had the orange sun turn black and appear on the head of a skull.

And the keyboard screen sat there quietly waiting to be used.

Kiba immediately headed in Skullgreymon's direction.

All of the digivices informed their owners:

Warning! Warning! A Dangerous Digimon has been detected. You are needed immediately in this Area!

Shikamaru and Dracomon looked towards the area indicated and being the battle loving dragon digimon he was Dracomon immediately rushed towards the battle.

"Troublesome," Shikamaru said and followed.

Team Chiyuuzu was the closest to the forest when the warning came through.

Sasuke spoke first, "So it's finally time to test our new abilities and weapons."

"Yes. It took us quite a while to master our Digisouls and the Gates to the level we have. The digimon have worked hard too," Hinata said.

"Oy! Let's not sit around! This is our chance to prove our hard work wasn't in vain! Let's go!" Naruto exclaimed excitedly.

"Hn," Sasuke agreed.

"Hai!" Hinata concured

They all raised their digivices.

"Midori!" Naruto exclaimed excitedly.

"Yuki-chan!" Hinata called out.

"Hanako." Sasuke said calmly.

"Return to me!"

"Come back to me!"

"Materialize."

The digimon materialized and they all said excitedly. "Team Chiyuuzu, ready for action!"

They all headed in the direction of Skullgreymon.

Rock Lee and Witchmon took a detour in their training route. Rock Lee performed a long series backflips towards Skullgreymon's direction while Eliisa guided him.

Tenten and Ino, having met Lee and being trained by the Insane Witchmon and Gai, ran along with their comrades-in training and digimon to Skullgreymon's area.

Tenten turned to Webster, now a wormmon, who was riding on her shoulder, " We can get there faster if you evolve," She said holding up her glowing Digivice 01.

"Right!" He said jumping off her shoulder.

"Wormmon. Shinka!" He said spinning a cocoon around himself. The cocoon glowed and a spike pierced through from within and cut out an openining. A green humanoid figure burst out of the opening. "Stingmon!"

Stingmon picked Tenten up and zoomed off.

Ino and Tsugano, now a gabumon, followed suit.

"Gabumon. Shinka!" Gabumon ran on all fours and his pelt expanded and merged with him as he grew into a huge wolf and when the transformation was complete he let out a howl. "Garurumon!"

Ino hopped on as soon as the evolution was complete and they too shot off.

Eliisa knowing Lee would need his strength for battle intecepted his landing with her broom. "Hang on Lee-kun. It's going to be a wild ride." She paused waiting for Lee to comply. When he did they shot off as well.

Sakura and Regina ran towards the location of Skullgreymon with Shino in tow.

"Sakura-san..." Shino started pulling out his D-slide.

"I know!" Sakura had hers out and pressed on the Evolution app. "Natural evolution!"

"Tentomon. Natural Shinka!" Tentomon glowed brightly. When the glow subsided she was a large insect digimon. "Kabuterimon!" Regina held out a hand to Sakura.

Sakura wasted no time hopping into the outstretched hand.

Shino followed suit. "Come. Gomamon." the Aquatic mammal digimon materialized. "Slide evolution!"

"Gomamon. Slide Shinka!" Gomamon slid sideways and turned blue as his limbs and became more suited to land. He back flipped and when he landed he was a large wolf. "Gaogamon!"

Shino hopped onto Goagamon's back.

Kabuterimon and Gaogamon sped off together.

Chouji and Neji were also headed towards the scene.

Alright the Konoha Children are Chosen. Let's see how well they mesh in a truly dangerous situation. It's time for the scene you have all been waiting for! The Battle scene is anon.

Team Chiyuuzu arrived first.

They held up their digivices and said simultaneously. "Digigate Open!"

Hinata's screen showed: Defensive digisoul. A round gate (ala Holyangemon's heaven's gate) with the digicode for "hikari" appeared in front of her and opened just a crack and light enveloped her when the light subsided she was wearing a child sized humanoid version of Nefertimon's armor, mask sans headdress, and Tailmon's gloves. She also had Nefertimon's wings.

Sasuke's screen showed: offensive digisoul.

A diamond shaped gate appeared in front of Sasuke with an imprint of Sasuke's crest in the middle and faded and illegible digicode appearing over the imprint. Sasuke slammed his crest palm over the imprint. The gate opened and Sasuke stood in the threshold. He spun three times and when he stepped out of the gate he was wearing a human child's version of Strikedramon's gloves, pants, boots, helmet, arm rings, ankle rings, and plates. He also had Airdramon's wings

Naruto's screen showed: stealth digisoul.

A Gate, in the shape of his crest, appeared in front of Naruto with the digicode for "makoto" inscribed in outer circle of the concentric circle. The inner circle gate opened half way and the gate began spinning at high speed around Naruto. When it stopped spinning Naruto was was wearing Shurimon's mask and bodysuit, Frogmon's back armor including his leaf wheels, and Yasyamon's pants. He had Frogmon's daggers strapped to his thighs.

Here's what happened. The children are manifesting their digisouls into something that can take on digimon. By opening their Digigates they can take on templates from digimon associated with their crests or digimon and temporarily merge their bodies with those. Think spirit evolution, only they don't turn into digimon. They are currently equivalent to adult level digimon. (A/n: I had to work hard for Sasuke since I know of no digimon associated with his crest's secret virtue that wouldn't spoil the secret. But then I remembered in some games you can Jogress Floramon and Monodramon so I took it from there. It turned out very well, if I do say so myself.

The plant digimon were evolving while their partners merged with their digisouls.

"Lalamon..." Hanako started.

"Palmon..." Midori followed suit.

"Shinka!" They finished simultaneously.

Lalamon was enveloped in a closed yellow blossom. The blossom grew to about seven times the height and width of Lalamon When the blossom opened she was Sunflowmon(A/n: I cannot describe Sunflowmon's appearance so I direct you to the digimon wiki) "Sunflowmon!"

A closed pink blossom appeared around palmon. It grew to about five times the width and height of palmon. When the blossom bloomed there was a giant cactus with arms, boxing gloves, legs, andvwhat looked like a sprout of hair on top of it's head. "Togemon!"

Tailmon was doing something different. "Tailmon! Mode change!"

Gatomon's tail split into two and her holy ring expanded and rested diagonally across her torso from her right Shoulder to her left arm pit (A/n: think sash but metal, gold and wrought with holy power) and her body became more lithe and her claws shrank by 20 percent. A golden bell choker on her neck. A mark her forehead but then her entire face was covered by golden mask. "Tailmon: Sacred mode." She said calmly.

Let me explain. When their partners open their digigates digimon either evolve to the level their partners are equivalent to or mode change and gain a boost of power if they are already at that level. Since tailmon can usually wipe the floor with multiple larger digimon of the same level I'm putting their power level in between adult and perfect. The power level Yuki has after her mode change is not quite perfect but close enough to matter. This does not change the fact that if she does not have sufficient backup she will be reduced to her component data and revert to egg form when going against Skullgreymon. Luckily she will and not just from Team Chiyuuzu.

Naruto disappeared in a swirl of leaves at the same time Togemon rushed forward at Skullgreymon.

"Lightspeed jabbing!" Togemon cried out and nailed Skullgreymon in its ribs, and subsequently got knocked away with a casual backhand.

Sasuke and Sunflowmon took to the sky. Sasuke heated all if his metal plates rushed at Skullgreymon pulled up as he was in front of it and then drill diving towards it's head while genrating vacuum blades with his wings. The vacuum blades caught on fire as he genarated them and converged into a fiery vortex that advanced on Skullgreymon " Flame Drill Rush!" The tornado impacted the skeleton digimon's horn, and Sasuke impacted into its neck only to bounce off. When the vortex ended there was only small black spot on the skeleton digimon's horn and that quickly faded.

"Sunshine explosion!" Sunflownon fired a vast amount of sunlight from its corolla at Skullgreymon's expose heart , but the skeleton digimon just deflected the beams with a sweeping wave of its hand.

Naruto appeared inside Skullgreymon's ribcage, daggers in hand and leafwheels whirling, and drove his daggers into Skullgreymon's heat and sliced at it with his leafwheels. He managed to make a thin cut that healed quickly. He disappeared again and reappeared hovering next to the recovering Sasuke.

Suddenly a wall of stone tablets, bound tightly together by a golden rope, appeared on all sides around them.

In the next instant the stone tablets were melted as a result of Skullgreymon's Curse Breath.

Yuki leapt forward and slammed her fist into Skullgreymon's snout hard enough to make a small crack on Skulgreymon's face. That damage did not heal, but she did not notice in the wake of dodging a claw swipe from her opponent.

Shikamaru, who had been observing since one minute after Naruto transformed, did notice and let go of Dracomon to join the frey. "Wait a minute Dracomon. You need to evolve," Shikamaru said as he took out his D-slide and opened the evolution app "Natural evolution."

"Dracomon. Shinka." Dracomon jumped up and did not come down. His form was covered by clouds and when he emrged from the clouds he was a large blue bipedal dragon digimon "Coredramon."

"Attack the crack on its nose," Shikamaru instructed going into his thinking pose and keeping his eyes open in case any other variables came into play. He knew Sakura and Shino were on the way thanks to them calling him on his D-slide he just had to wait.

"Spiral blow!"

"Mega Blaster!"

A vortex of supercharged wind slammed into Skullgreymon.

'Ah. There they are. Now let's see who else shows up.'

It was at this time that Ino, Rock Lee, and Ten-Ten showed up with their patners.

Ino jumped off of the Giant wolf as the other two dismounted and were set down.

Suddenly a clash of blue and black flames came as Garurumon added his Fox Fire to Coredramon's blue flare breath. They just barely managed to negate Skullgreymon's attack.

"Be advised: do not under any circumstances let it use ground zero. Half of your villiage could be destroyed," the digivices rang out.

"Girls and Lee! It's time for jogress!" Witchmon stated.

Ino, Ten-Ten and Lee put their digvices tother and said simultaneously, "Triple Jogress!"

"Witchmon." Eliisa stated

"Stingmon!" Webster called.

"Garurumon!" Tsugano exclaimed

"Triple Jogress!" They shouted together.

They turned into beams of white light and merged with each other in s flare of white light.

When the light resolved there was what appered to be a lady wearing armor made from garurumon with his head acting as an ornament for her chest plate and chis fore legs acting as from the shoulder gloves but then you realize the "gloves" are actually her arms. Stingmon's head is acting as a mask for the upper part of her face and she has Stingmon's legs and Spikes and his wings are coming out of her back. She was carryng a staff with a crystal ball resting atop it and a spear on the bottom in her left hand. In a sheath on her right hip she was carrying a straight short sword.

"Jadisbeemon!" the new perfect jogressed digimon called out Digimon called out.

Skullgreymon roared at the challenge and started to speak for the first time since the battle started. " Ground..."

It got distracted by a spiraling flame slamming into its right eye and a second one slamming into its mouth as well as a small jolt of lightning impacting its right eye.

It tried again but found that it couldn't move

"Kagemane no jutsu: success," Shikamaru gritted out, clearly straining to keep ahold of the giant digimon. " Attack the crack on it's head, that the Tailmon made."

Not having any better ideas, they all attacked.

Jadisbeemon leveled her staff, crystal ball end forward at Skullgreymon, "Winter wolf blizzard."

As a blizzard appeared around Skullgreymon images of wolves appeared and attacked the crack on Skullgreymon's head. When the attack subsided thre crack was now a hole.

Tailmon: Sacred mode and Hinata leapt up and simultaneously attacked the hole that Jadisbeemon made. "Neko punch!" the force of the combined attack knocked Skullgreymon back five meters and the hole was wider.

"Leafwheel cutter!"

"Flame drill rush!"

"Mega blaster!"

"Sparking air shot!"

"Double fire!"

"Chiku Chiku Banban!"

"Sunshine explosion!"

"Strike bomber,"

" Spiral blow!".

When the dust cleared fom the attacks Skullgreymon was riddled with cracks and holes one more attack and it would devolve. And it came from an unexpected source.

"Tsuga!" Kiba cried out as his Inuzuka family technique dealt the last blow onto Skullgreymon.

Skullgreymon fell hard and reverted to Koramon. Kiba pucked up the digimon, checked his D-glass and remembered it was time for dinner. Fearing his mother's wrath he ran off.

Everyone involved in that battle sweat dropped at the scene.

As all the digimon reverted to their default forms they and their partners nodded at the seperate groups and went their separate ways.

Good news everyone! It's time to skip ahead to graduation year. And I have things planned for Sasuke, oh, yes. Complicated romantic things. Oh! Can you not taste my excitement? I'll give you a hint: Sasuke has a hunter mentality when it comes to seeking mates.

Naruto and Hinata have enough chemistry with each other to take care of themselves if they spend enough time together so don't worry Naruhina fans.

Sasusaku fans I refuse to apologize for Sasuke and Sakura not ending up together, deal with it. Team 7 will be like a family in this story as will Team 8.
