This chapter will happen during the Uchiha massacre, so no update with Naruto, Hinata and Kakashi until the next chapter.

Chapter 2: Sasuke's new sensei

He knew he shouldn't have stayed out so late. He knew he had to be home by a certain amount of time. Now he had to pay the price… of watching his parents get killed before his very eyes. His logic led him to believe if he had been home earlier, he would have been killed. He never would have had to see this. But because he was late, his parents were now falling to the ground before his very eyes. He looked behind them to see who the killer was.

"B-Brother?"

"Sasuke, Remember this night. Remember that it was me who killed your parents, no, your family. We are the last two Uchiha. Hate me; use your hate to fuel your training. Grow strong off this hate until you are able to defeat me. I'll be waiting until that day."

Sasuke stood paralyzed as Itachi quickly left the room, sure the ANBU would be there very soon.

Only a minute later the Hokage himself was on the scene.

"Sasuke?" He asked, getting closer to the boy. "Sasuke? Are you alright?"

Sasuke looked up at the man. "He killed them. He killed THEM ALL!"

"Calm down Sasuke, getting mad won't solve anything. What did he say to you?" The Sandaime asked.

"He said to hate him, to use my hate as fuel to become strong. He wants me to kill him and avenge my clan." Sasuke looked at his hands, they were visibly shaking.

"He wants to turn you against the village. Do not follow his advice. If you use your hate, he will have already won the fight. You will not be some mindless avenger Sasuke."

"I want to train, to get stronger, so I can kill him." Sasuke had already made up his mind. "Itachi, hope we never meet again, for you will die!"

"You will be trained Sasuke, but I can only allow it on one condition." The Sandaime said, hoping to capture the boy's attention.

Sasuke looked up immediately. "What condition?"

"You must get strong, but for the right reasons. If you only want to train to kill your brother, then it won't be allowed. Think Sasuke! If you train all your life with only the goal of killing Itachi, then what will you do after he's dead? Your life will be pointless. Train and become strong, but never and I repeat, NEVER focus on killing him. Is that clear?"

Sasuke sat completely still for a few seconds, obviously taking his words into consideration. "Fine." He mumbled after a while.

The Sandaime told him to meet him in his office the next day to meet the person who would be training him for the next 6 years until he could join the academy.

(Next morning)

Sasuke was awake bright and early the next day. He had to force himself to stay in his new apartment until the time to go to the Hokage. He wanted to get started right away on the training. He had to be the best of the best in order to get strong. Still, he made himself wait. When the clock said he had one minute to get to the Hokage tower that was when he suddenly took off running, knowing he would get there in time because of his will to be stronger.

He made it to the tower right on time and burst into the Hokage's office, obviously impatient to get started.

The Sandaime looked up from his desk and saw Sasuke standing there panting. "Settle down Sasuke, your instructor will be here in just a few minutes."

Sasuke just nodded and sat down in one of the chairs by the desk. He sat waiting until finally a knock was heard on the door.

Sasuke immediately spun to face the door, wondering who his teacher would be. "Enter." The Hokage said and a woman dressed all in black walked in.

"Sasuke, meet your teacher, Yukita Matekana."

The woman looked from Sasuke to the Sandaime. "Hold on, Hokage-sama. I thought you said you had a mission for me. Are you saying my mission is to train this brat?"

Sasuke looked furious at being called a brat but he managed to hold his tongue and wait for the Hokage's reply.

"Yes Yukita, your mission is to train the 'brat' to be a ninja. And you will be training him for the next six years."

Yukita frowned and turned back to Sasuke. "Well since it's a mission I guess I have to do it, let's go brat."

"Call me brat one more time hag." Sasuke said. He hated the woman already and had to spend six years with her?

"What are you gonna do about it brat?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

Sasuke lost it at that, he charged at her and swung his fist aiming to punch her in the stomach. She got a bored look on her face as she side-stepped and Sasuke punched the metal door behind her. He started shaking his hand trying to get rid of the pain while glaring at her.

"Someday hag, I'll kick your ass!" Sasuke swore right on the spot.

"I hope that day comes soon." Yukita replied.

Sasuke looked confused; she wanted him to beat her? Seeing the look on the kids face she said. "The day you beat me will be the day my work is done. If you are able to kick my ass, then I will have nothing left to teach you brat. Now come on, we have work to do, and trust me, it's gonna be hell for you." Yukita said with a mischievous gleam in her eye.

Both Yukita and Sasuke left until the Hokage was sitting at the desk.

"I take it that you know about the situation with Itachi." Hiruzen said as right behind him was a male ANBU with a dragon mask.

"Of course Hokage sama." The ANBU said as he teleported from behind the Hokage and reappeared in a flash of lightning.

"I will get to the bottom of the chase. A few days back, the Kyuubi jinchuriki Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze along with Hinata Hyuuga went out with your ANBU student Kakashi Hatake in a six year trip to train the two to become strong shinobis close to his level."

"Ah, that'll be good but do tell me on why you summoned me Sarutobi sensei despite the fact that I have to command all those brats that are the ANBU when especially to the fact that half of the ANBU were Uchiha and they were all destroyed by Itachi."

Hiruzen sighed and looked at the male ANBU. "The Uchiha were planning a rebellion to overthrown me. Itachi killed them as to save the village. But he begged to spare his little brother, but Sasuke has already shown signs of hatred over to Itachi."

"I see. But, trust me that it'll be not good at all. Besides, where was Jiraiya when he needed to protect his godson? Jiraiya doesn't deserve to be Naruto's godfather." The ANBU said with hatred over to Jiraiya.

"I know but he had to do the spy satellite over to the Akatsuki but also that Itachi is my double agent. Now, I summoned you for a mission." Hiruzen said as he gave a scroll over to the ANBU.

"Your mission when Naruto returns to the village is to become his co-sensei. I will give you the name of your partner in six years due to the fact that your partner is doing missions for the time being. Now remove your mask and I will give you a codename." Hiruzen said as the ANBU removed his mask and he was a young man that had white hair. His face looked like he was in his teens.

"Alright Hokage sama." The man said.

"Your codename will be Toshiro Hitsugaya. Does that be alright with you?"

"Yup! Besides, the name has the same style as to my actual name." The newly named Toshiro said.

"Then you're dismissed." Hiruzen said as the ANBU disappeared in a flash of ice.

"I forgot that he mastered all the elements." Hiruzen said.

Now, I made this chapter longer because it felt short to me. Now the ANBU I brought in has a different name but he will go by Toshiro for now. The name will sound familiar since the name is a character from the anime Bleach. The said ANBU won't appear till later on but I have given a good background on the character that he's the commander of the ANBU. In this story that the Uchihas founded ANBU but their leader isn't an Uchiha.
