Remember- koneko means kitten, Kagome is still a baby in demon terms.

On the other hand of things, Kagome knew of nothing.

Oh, of course she knew that something was definitely bothering her friend, but what or why, she had no clue.

And she was so much happier, collecting flowers and singing songs to investigate the matter, she was sure her Sesshy-kun would be better in no time.

If she had known why her dear friend was acting out of character, she might've tried reassuring him, or even asked her nii-chan to help them. But little Kagome who even though had grown close to Sesshomaru, had a habit of drifting off.

But that's something you could only expect from a koneko, truly living up to the term, ignorance is bliss.
