Alright folks, I'm so sorry for my extended absence, and I'm afraid I don't really have good news. One of the reasons it's taken me so long to update is because I've been wrestling with the fact that if this was my original work, I would hate what the person in my current position is doing with it.

SO. What does this mean? I've come up with two solutions. The first is the easiest one for me, and the one that I'm currently favoring: deleting all of the bolded parts. I would leave spaces to signal that they had once been there, but that's it. It's the closest to deleting this fic that I can get without also deleting my own hard work and all of your continuous support.

The second option requires a lot of work on both our parts. I would go in and individually change each bolded part to its corresponding page and line number. In the case you want to reread this fic, that means you finding each one before continuing. Speaking from experience, it's incredibly annoying. But it might be more coherent than just deleting all the quotes.

I'm giving you all a week to decide (till noon on January 3). Option a or option b. If a consensus hasn't been reached by then, I'm going with option a. Thank you all for your support and, I hope, your understanding.

Edit - Cinderfire16 just brought up what I think is a great solution. Instead of replacing the quotes with either nothing (my preference) or corresponding numbers (tiring for all) replace them with descriptions. For example:

Firester read a place description that immediately prompted yowls of "Sunning rocks are ours!" from the ThunderClan and RiverClan leader and deputy sets.

"Hush!" Sandstorm hissed. "Firestar, continue."

The following battle helped entice the silence, but the minute a cat was named—

"Pinned!" Oakheart howled angrily. "I would never be—"

He was cut off as the future ThunderClan leader read over him, barely refraining from hissing at the mention of Tigerclaw.

I typed that up in just a few minutes, so it's easy enough for me, and it's also easy to read. If no one has any major complaints, I'm just going to go with this. Right now the vote seems split between option a and b anyway, and I know I promised a week, but this seems best for everyone.
