Out of Face

Question dug through the small opening of the plateau, being very careful to make sure not to cave into the vast darkness. He was doing research around the abandoned military base, just outside of Jasper, Nevada, and he luckily found a small opening to get through.

The Government was hiding something big. It wasn't breaking news to him, but they were hiding something major inside of the former army base. The proof was inconceivable, what with the sudden air and road traffic around the area. He was going to get to the bottom of it, even if it was going to cost him his life!

Though, he might have to call Helena to postpone their fancy date tonight, but it may conflict with 'I'll be home by tonight, honey'. … If he managed to get out of this mess in one piece, he wouldn't have to alert anyone in worry. There was always the comm link patch and the teleportation system to get him out in a jiffy.

Suddenly, he hit something hard.

CLANG.

A rare smile appeared on his blank face, and he struck harder to make it through to the other side. Judging from the echoes, there was nothing against the other side of the metallic wall. Military bases were pretty big, but it was abandoned for a long time, they could have used it as storage. Regardless where he was going to end up in the base, he was getting through. The mystery the government hid from the people was going to unveil in front of him…!

The conspiracy…! The connection…! The truth was finally going to come out!

The metallic plating of the wall was beginning to weaken, and as his expressionless face was brimming with glee, he saw the light…!

Stepping out, there in front of him was a tall, orange plated robot, something along the lines of a dentist tool in his hand. The sentient being's robotic jaw almost dropping to the ground. Blue metallic eyes began to dilate and widened from shock. If anyone said boo, or so much as a peep, Question thought the robot would go ballistic from such a simple sound.

The robot in front of him finally began to speak. "You… you have no face!"

The conspiracy theorist said dully, "I may not look it, but I'm happy to meet you. We come in peace!"

Seeing as Jeffrey Combs did both Ratchet in TF Prime and Justice League Unlimited, I thought it was about time to write something about them together in a story. XD Random fact: Silas is done by Clancy Brown, who voices Lex Luthor, and Gina Torres does Vixen in JLU and Airachnid in TFP.

Other than that, Soundwave has the most beautiful voice everrrrrr c': He has the voice of an angel. x3
