"Idiot! How can that man not see us!"

Isabella DiNozzo flinched, her grip on the wheel tightening, if that was possible. She focused on breathing. Hand making sure that she was going five miles under the speed limit. And that she kept proper distance from the car in front of her. And that the car in back was way to close for her liking. And that she kept in the middle of the lane. And a thousand and one other things.

Like how her mother was flipping out.

"Go faster," he mother ordered, "How are you to get through an ambush if you keep going so-"

"MOM!" she snapped. "I. Am. Trying. To. Drive!"

Ziva blinked and sat back into her seat. Why was she angry at her? She was just trying to be helpful.

Then the car behind them honked their horn. Isabella screamed in rage, frustration, and most of all. Stress.

DiNozzo Family home.

"I am just saying, it is alright to go five or so," or twenty, "miles above the speed limit so long as you have control of the vehicle."

"Ma, you've been to traffic court three times."

"So?"

"In the past month."

"It is your fathers fault. His car does not have a radar detector."

"Where is Pa?" Isabella asked, "Shouldn't he be back with Avra?"

Speak of the devil. A blue sedan skidded around the corner, smoke trailing from it's tires as rubber burned. The engine roared as the car fishtailed and raced down the block. The car accelerated, heading down the street at breakneck speed. The brakes slammed on and the car did a 180 degree turn and stopped, six inches from the curb in front of the house.

All the while you could faintly hear "I want to liiiiiiiiiiivvvvvve!" over the engine.

"Whew!" Avra DiNozzo said as she climbed out through the drivers side window. She and her sister dressed completely different. While she went for eco-warrior/action heroine, Isabella preferred to dress like an actual girl with taste, as in nice dresses and skirts. She would never be seen exiting a car like that, "Come on, Aba, that wasn't so bad."

Tony DiNozzo kept a firm grim on the handle of the dashboard. He didn't say anything.

"Hey, Sis, wanna go to the mall later? I'll drive," Avra offered. Ziva looked hopeful.

"No thanks, between you and Ma, I'll choose life."

"You're loss."

While this was happening, Ziva leaned down to her husband's level, who still hasn't left the car. She said, "Isabella drives to carefully."

His only response was to burst into tears."
