If I was a bird, I am a dove.

If I was human, my name would be Clive.

That's why my first name is Clive, then last dove.

I want to be free as a dove, but I have done wrong.

I try to get revenge on the corrupt Prime Minister Bill Hawks.

I ended up in jail because of it.

The professor shows me the light though.

Professor Hershel Layton and his apprentice Luke Triton.

No, not just them,

The girl I took from them,

Flora Rinfeild.

I don't know much about her.

I guess we are two of the same bird.

She wanted to be free like the dove,

Just as I.

She is different.

Right before I locked her up in her glass prison, she asked,

"Why?"

Why I do not know myself.

I wanted to answer, though I do not know the answer.

I just told her,

"I don't know, I just don't know."

She looked at me with sympathy,

Something I did not see in a long time.

No one pity one me except my adoptive mother.

I just turn away and went along with the act.

When I ended up in jail,

Flora came to see me.

I did not know what she meant.

I did not know what she meant by why.

One day wend she visit me in my lonely cell I ask her,

"What did you mean by why?"

She looked at me all knowing,

As if she knew what I was talking about from experience.

"Because I know how it felt to be alone."

It was a simple answer, but

A valid one answers though.

"What do you mean? We are nothing alike."

Boy how wrong I was.

She looked at me and said.

"We are alike Clive. I was alone with robots everywhere. My dead father made a robot mother for me so I would not be so alone,"

She stared, with the caring look of sympathy in her eyes like she gave me before I put her in the cell.

"But I still felt so alone around people who are just machines. The professor came and took me where I could lean something new, and I could see the world."

It was the next thing she said that made me broke out into tears,

It was so true and real.

"To be, free as a dove."

I cried my eyes out.

Flora, you know me so well…

You also want to know what it is to feel free,

Like a dove.

I told her is what I think would help her along life.

"If you want to be free like a dove, spread your wings and fly."

After our little talk she came more often.

Once in awhile the professor would come to,

He is glad that I know,

That I have paid for my sins.

The sins that have burry into me,

The sins that Flora has realest me of,

The sins that the Professor freed me of,

The sins that my friends help me of,

That freedom helped me fly like a dove again.

I hope,

When I am free,

I can properly say thank to

My friends,

And Flora who

From when I was in prison,

Help me of.

For that I am thankful for what I have in this life,

And maybe be freed from the next.

The life of prison and to be free to seek Flora and fly with her into to the sky

Free as a Dove.
