AN: So when I woke up this morning, I had almost 20 alerts from Fanfiction, and half of them reviews. So as a reward for all my lovely followers, I decided to write something extra. This is the only thing I'm posting today, because I just finished my summer reading and now I have to work on the project. I make it a goal of mine to reply to each review, so If I missed you let me know. I love hearing from all of you. As always, apologies in advance for any mistakes.

PS: This is part of my drabble series. I almost forgot!
Prompt: Multitasking

Disclaimer: I owned Rookie Blue, but then I woke up and cried.

When she woke, the sun was just beginning to peek through the blinds. It took her a second to realize this wasn't her bedroom, before memories of last night flooded back to her.

A warm arm was slung over her waist and she briefly traced the fingers, before expertly sliding out from underneath it.

Sam was still asleep; and she stood there for a minute to study him without the stress of work. He had a few less wrinkles, and she could almost imagine him as a young child with a messy mop of hair, wide wonder-filled eyes, a small dimpled smile, and cute little pudgy hands.

Finding his t-shirt on the floor, she slid it over her head, smiling as it came down mid-thigh.

This was strange for her. Andy McNally was no stranger to the walk of shame. But this time, she had no desire whatsoever to leave. In fact, this was exactly where she wanted to be.

Padding softly into the kitchen, she opened his fridge, searching for ingredients.

However, halfway into making pancakes, strong arms wrapped around her stomach, gently pulling her back into a well-muscled chest.

"What are you doing up?" His voice was still husky from sleep, sending shivers down her spine.

"Making breakfast." She continued to stir the batter, hesitating slightly as Sam placed open-mouthed kisses along the column of her neck. "Sam, I'm trying to make pancakes." Her effort to stop him from distracting her went unnoticed.

"Yes, and you've shown that you're a wonderful multitasker." He covered her hands with his own, stopping her movements. "You know, we both happen to have today off," he hinted. He had his signature dimpled smile and she was putty in his hands.

Smiling back, "Really?"

He began to lead her back to his bed. "All day," he clarified.

Thanks you so much for all your lovely reviews. I live off them. I love when you you tell me your thoughts and opinions. So please don't hold back!
