Untitled
A/N: A Princess Tutu poem about all the worlds Drosselmeyer might've written once… sort of. Sorry if it sounds weird…
First of all
There's something to be said
Just so you know
What may come your way
This isn't about
A girl who died
From unrequited love
That took away all her might
This isn't about
How the stars were aligned
Or how the sun won
And had the Earth as its price
This isn't about
That boy who is so cool
He always got the girl
And he ruled the school
This isn't about
Dolls or others
How through rainbows and love
They got magical powers
This could be a fairytale
This could be a nightmare
This will be that place where
You won't know what you'll find there
This could be about
The prince that ran away
And by the will of the world
His heart was led astray
This could be about
A girl who became a duck
And couldn't help but stay that way
Because of her bad luck
This could be about
A knight destined to be slain
But when the pen was mightier than the sword
His destiny was changed
This could be about
A baby taken without a thought
She grew to be a dark princess
And despair and sadness was all she brought
Here fantasy is real and truth is lie
We've seen things that you would never believe
All of these are things we would merely laugh at
My dear friend, this is not a dream
A death could be a birth
A night could be a day
Our lives follow the rules of
The phoenix's ashes on its tray
The line between tragedy and evil
Is blurry and nearly doesn't exist
Whether we help or hamper doesn't matter
So long as we evade the Grim Reaper's list
You can't escape us
When you close your eyes, we're there
You'll be with us in your eternal sleep
This isn't a game, this isn't truth or dare
Cinderella, Swan Lake
These and so much more you could meet
If you want, you can stay here forever
So long as you can take the heat
That is the rule of our special world
Where anything and everything can happen along the way
And that reason is exactly why
'Untitled' is this poem's only and true name
A/N: …whut?
Honestly, I don't know. I saw a Princess Tutu marathon, there was a poem competition… I got third place? :)
Have a nice day~!
