Bottle of Blood

Darren was laying on his hammock when Mr. Crepsley poked his head in through the opening of the tent to check if Darren was inside. "May I enter?" Mr Crepsley asked politely. "Yeah, Debbie just left," Darren replied.

"I have a question. I was talking to Evra, and he said something about his cell phone not working properly. Do you know what a- Wait," Mr. Crepsley saw a bottle out of the corner of his eye. "Did you drink ALL of this blood by yourself?" Mr. Crepsley asked as he picked the bottle up off Darren's side table.

"Uh..." Darren thought for a minute, then he went to a flashback of earlier that night...

Darren and Debbie were sitting on the couch in Darren's tent laughing, talking and drinking. After a while, the wine they were drinking ran out, so Darren grabbed a bottle of what looked like wine and poured it into their glasses. "This is really good wine!" Debbie exclaimed when she took a sip. "A little metallic-y though."
Darren tried to find a label on the bottle but it was hard for him to see anything in the dim candlelight, even with his sharp vampire senses. Darren of course didn't notice the metallic taste because he was used to it, though he did realize it tasted different than the wine they were drinking before. Soon, they drank the entire bottle and Debbie had to leave.

"Darren, did you hear me?" Mr Crepsley snapped his fingers to get Darren's attention. "Did you drink all the-" Darren cut him off with a scream. He buried his face into his pillow. "Darren! What is wrong!" Mr. Crepsley asked at Darren's terror.

"I-I-," Darren couldn't get the words out.

"Speak, boy!" Mr. Crepsley shouted at Darren, taking a grip on his shoulders, dropping the bottle onto the floor.

"I made my girlfriend drink human blood!" Darren cried into his hands, muffling the sound of his shouts.

"Oh," Mr Crepsley said plainly. He started to laugh and Darren glared at him and pouted.
Soon, Mr Crepsley roared with laughter and Darren shook his head shamefully, and out of the tent door, you could see Debbie, who had been eavesdropping, flailing her arms and wiping her mouth, spitting on the ground and screaming with disgust.
