Hey All the wonderful people out there! *Waves* How are you all?
And here I am with the sequel to 'Fate Or Destiny?'. I have a rough idea of where this story will be going so let's see if I stick to my original plan or change the entire thing halfway, as is my silly habit!
So, here is the prologue. It's short, but don't be mad. I'll make it up to you all in the future chapters. Happy reading, and don't forget to review!
Disclaimer: Narnia and it's characters are not mine. The OCs in this story are.

DEFINITELY DESTINY
– –PROLOGUE – –

Pain…
There was pain. And guilt, perhaps...
Come to think of it, there was a sea, an ocean of emotions running through her. They said your life flashed through your eyes at the end. They were right. Lying here, at the end of it all, she was remembering the beginning.
Everything became clear now. Her doom, her pain, her guilt, her hatred, her love... She could see it all, she could see how she ended up here. She wished she hadn't. She wished she had chosen differently. But it was too late now.
And yet she was still alive. Why? Why was it not ending?
She was tired, so, so tired. And she wanted to be free of it all. Free… The word lured her into darkness. She gripped the dagger in her hand and slashed at her wrist yet again. The blood oozed out, the pain heightened, but she did not cry. She wouldn't. She had spent so much time crying, now she would not. Now she would face the pain head-on.
She had been weak before, but here at the end, she wanted to be brave. Oh, how she wished she had been brave before. She would have saved her if she had been strong.
Her... Her daughter. Her beautiful, precious daughter.
Dead. Gone. Forever.
How could she live in a world where her child was dead? She couldn't. God, she wanted to die. She had to die. Her baby was gone, and he - he didn't care. He had let her die.
How could he? He had said that he loved her. He had said that he would always keep her happy. Was it all a lie? A laugh escaped her mouth. Of course, it was. Surely she should see it now. It had all been a lie.
Lie. Lie. Lie.
Nothing mattered. Not her. Not him. Not their love. Not their daughter… their dead daughter. And certainly not their 'marriage'.
Marriage. She raised the dagger again, and slashed it again and again at her finger, hoping to cut her wedding ring. The pain of cutting her finger didn't matter; she just wanted to break this ring, this damned memento of a farce of a marriage.
Finally, tired, unsuccessful at cutting the metal ring on her finger, she slumped back, now drained of energy, her breath coming in short gasps and her vision blurring.
The end was near. She saw her daughter. I'm so sorry my baby, I couldn't save you. The thought of him crossed through her mind. You bastard! You ruined it all. I hate you. I hate you with all of my heart. She saw him - his handsome face, his open arms, his wide smile. No matter what happened, no matter how much I hate you, always remember: I love you. But it was never meant to be.
She was insane. She was definitely insane, but becoming insane was the only sane thing she could do. The end was near and she was a failure. A failure as a friend. A failure as a wife. A failure as a lover. A failure as a mother. A failure. That was who she was. And that was what her life had been about: one failure after another. One scream after another. One tear after another.
Weak. Weak and pathetic. To the very end. So much so, that she was killing herself rather than facing the world outside. Everyone would be so disappointed. Hell, even she was disappointed. But it was too late now, too late to undo the harm she had done. Too late to unbreak the hearts she had broken. Too late to mend her own damaged, broken heart.
Would she find it? The peace that she so craved. She did not know, but she hoped so. Everything began to fade and she closed her eyes.
The end was near.
