Disclaimer: Ash: Well… guess I get to the final disclaimer for this fic. It's been a great run and Sparky did an awesome job too. And now… Sparky does not own the characters and story elements of the Pokémon franchise. Nintendo, Game Freak and the Pokémon Company all have legal ownership. No money is being made off of this story as it is posted for pure entertainment purposes only. [Sigh] Well… that's it folks. The final disclaimer for May and Ash's Unova Journey. Take it away Sparky and take us home.

Me: Thanks Ash. I'll do that

Epilogue

AND (Arceus's New Dawn) 475

250 years after the death of Marquis Ash and Duchess May Ketchum

'Wow!' exclaimed Hermione, a shiny female telepathic Braixen said as she was deep into her reading for a school report she was assigned to along her partner, a male Riolu named Bullet. 'I never thought that they were that strong.'

'Seriously Hermione?' Hermione's partner, Bullet, asked from behind as he was shaking his head in disbelief. 'Why are you even taking this stupid report seriously? It's not like reading and writing are going to be important skills for Pokémon like us.'

'I'd like to have a nice job that doesn't always involve fighting, thank you very much,' the upset female Braixen shot back at her lazy and unsympathetic partner. 'You should be grateful. Pokémon and hybrid humans live as equals now. Thanks to what Rhea of Team Trident did, you and I were given such an opportunity like going to school and learn other life skills.'

Bullet, however didn't share in Hermione's enthusiasm. The young and adolescent Emanation Pokémon was more of a jock that didn't care for anything except for the sport that he was best at. Studies weren't Bullet's forte and he always tried to Buizel out of them whenever he could so he could focus on the ever growing Aura Ball sport that was growing popularity in the Atlantica Islands and even in Kanto as the rulers of both regions made every effort to help promote the growing sport. Other sports that were played by normal humans, before they were bred out of existence, were also played and still popular too. Many soccer teams had sprung up in the aftermath Rhea's efforts to preserve the Earth for a new generation before she quietly slipped into memory along with her Team Trident. For Bullet, history was a trivial subject and too hard to understand and reading and writing, which he was failing at miserably, were considered as stupid subjects for bipedal Pokémon to even learn in his eyes. The only subjects he excelled at were physical education, studying to control his Aura power and math.

'I'm not going to fail on this report just because you decide reading and writing are stupid,' Hermione angrily said to her Riolu partner. 'Remember what the teacher said. 'If one fails, then both partners fail'.

Using her Psychic attack and the twig from her tail, she grabbed a book from a high shelf and threw it at Bullet saying, 'You need to get to work on your part of the report. Besides, I would've thought you'd like to do a report on Marquis Ash Ketchum and his wife, the lovely and elegant Duchess May Ketchum. I mean come on, he was pretty much a jock himself as a Pokémon trainer while normal humans roamed and occupied this planet. And I know you like hanging out with other jocks. Think of this report as if you were hanging out with Marquis Ash Ketchum himself. I'm not going to carry you again like I did in biology… twice!'

'Huh… I guess I can't argue with that kind of logic,' Bullet replied after he peeled the book off his face. 'But couldn't you have been a little gentler when you flung this book at my face with your Psychic attack?'

'Hmm… I would've thought that a Riolu like you could catch almost anything in your hands,' answered Hermione. 'Oh well… I guess catching objects with your face works just as well too.'

Bullet didn't take too kindly to Hermione's jab at him and tried using his Quick Attack against the shiny female adolescent Braixen. However, Hermione knew Bullet's fighting style all too well and put up a protective field with the move Protect. Once Bullet's Quick Attack had been stopped, Hermione then took to the offensive as she focused her willpower to her head and struck back with the Psychic-type Zen Headbutt, effectively knocking out Bullet. With her Fighting-type partner dazed and lying on the floor of the library, Hermione brushed past her partner with the books she wanted to read, both personally and for her and Bullet's book report for school. Hermione had checked out May Ketchum's personal memoir recalling all of her personal travels and most importantly her journey through Unova and the Atlantica Islands for school. For personal reading, the shiny female Kalos Fox Pokémon checked out another book that had been written by May about Pokémon contests and how to coordinate with a person's Pokémon partners. The other book Hermione checked was one that had been written Serena LaRouche, the wife of Drew Anderson LaRouche, about how well Pokémon could perform as well as looking stylish at the same time.

Hermione had really big smile on her face that caught the notice of the head librarian, a female Gothitelle who had a Dream Ball necklace around her neck. If there was anything out of place or not in their proper place, Gothitelle was sure to notice it, even without using her Psychic-type powers. Hermione approached Gothitelle still having that same big smile on her face.

'I see you found quite an interesting lot to read,' Gothitelle said telepathically before looking and noticing a few specs of dust on Hermione's tail. 'I also see you had a scuffle with Bullet again seeing as how I haven't heard any groaning from him yet means you used one of your Psychic-type attacks on him.'

'I just wish he took school seriously,' Hermione complained to Gothitelle as she shook her head. 'It's not a place for jocks just loaf around until PE or lunch where they pile on excessive amounts of food that would make even a Snorlax go into a form of shock.'

The female Astral Body Pokémon gave off a slight telepathic chuckle and checked out the books that Hermione wanted to take out of the library. Hermione then thanked the librarian and went home to her family. With her books in her bag, Hermione hurried home to continue her part of the report she was assigned.

oooooooooooooo

"Hermione, dinner is ready," Hermione's mother, a Delphox hybrid, called out to Hermione. "Put your books and homework away and wash up."

'Sorry Mom, but I gotta get this report done,' the shiny female Braixen called back to her mother as she set foot on the stairs of her family's house. 'It's due tomorrow and I really don't wanna fail my reading and writing class!'

The shiny adolescent female Kalos Fox Pokémon then darted up the stairs to her bedroom and closed the door. Letting out a sigh of relief, she then set her books on her bed and then went to work on her part of her homework.

'Let's see now,' Hermione said to herself as she looked at the first book, the book she checked out for her report. 'My part of this report is on the Pokémon Coordinator and second strongest member of the Atlantica Islands' Elite Four, the Tsunami Duchess, May Ketchum herself.'

Opening the book, Hermione then felt as if her the world she was in disappeared and she was taken back to the time when May was at height of her career, 10 years before the start of the Hybrid Storm.

"Looking back at all that I've accomplished," Hermione began to read, "I realized that much of my accomplishments were achieved a little too fast and they became just a memory. The only achievement to last longer, that I know of, would have to be giving birth to my children. Cynthia, my firstborn, made a lot of achievements herself through her swimming. Lisa achieved much on her own without relying on me or father. None of my children ever leaned myself or their father to achieve their goals."

Hermione made sure that she wrote notes with things that she read from the books she checked out. Once she finished writing notes, Hermione then turned to join her family if they were still having dinner and having her favorite meal, chicken spaghetti with Alfredo sauce and Tamato Berry dumplings.

oooooooooooooo

'And in conclusion, the Tsunami Duchess's achievements both on and off the stage of contests and the Suicune Valley Conference made her, in my opinion, the greatest Pokémon Coordinator,' Hermione read from her portion of the report that she and Bullet had written, 'if not the greatest Pokémon trainer ever.'

Once the shiny female Fox Pokémon and her partner had finished their report, both Hermione and Bullet bowed to their speechless classmates and teachers. Once both partners sat down at their desks, the teacher looked speechless herself and then quickly regained her composure. The teacher then cleared her throat as the Cobalion hybrid then said, "Well… now that all of reports have been completed, you will be given a grade on them. I'm impressed that you all took the time and effort to write your reports.

The teacher surveyed her students and then continued, "The reason I assigned these reports is help teach and remind you about the history prior to the start of the AND timeline. A small few made the greatest difference in shaping the new world that each and every one of you now live in. Groups like Team Rocket, Team Blizzard and Team Galactic all tried to spread malice and each and every one of them were thwarted and met their maker, our lord and creator, Lord Arceus. Take time to reflect and never forget those who lived before you. It is through their achievements and accomplishments that this new world is possible."

With those final words from the Cobalion hybrid, the students looked to their teacher until hearing the dismissal bell ring loudly. The teacher then stood up from her desk as did the class representative, a recently evolved shiny female Roserade who was Hermione's best friend.

'Stand… bow… and… dismissed for the summer!' the shiny female Bouquet Pokémon started to say calmly and then became enthusiastic as soon they bowed to their teacher.

"Have a good summer to all of you," the teacher said before walking out of the classroom. "Enjoy yourself and all of the journeys that you'll take throughout the season."
