This is a very short one shot based off of two lines said in the new trailer for series six 9why the hell did i put seven, err idiot moment). It's most likely not that good but enh, whatever.

Fear Me…I've killed hundreds of Time-Lords

Fear Me…I've killed all of them

Not once but twice did he kill his own people. Their screams of that horrible day of the time war still echo in his mind, ripping it apart with claws of darkness. The more recent "Gallifrey is falling!" joins in with the vicious dance inside of his head. Twice he has damn his own people into hell and twice all he can do is walk away a new man.

I've killed all of them

It's not something to be proud of. He shouldn't be hailed a savior by the universe. What good is a defender if he can't save the people he cares about the most?

Killed all of them

He was a husband, a father, a grandfather. He had friends and loved ones. He had memories of a happier time but all his left is an echoing silence. He would be damned if he left that silence to be. All he has to think back on are his memories but even those do not remain the same throughout all of time.

All of them

Faces flashed behind his eyes. The smiling faces of the people he once knew now damned by his own hands. He was always an outcast, always running, but now he has nowhere left to go when his legs grow tired of running. No one to share stories with about the wonders he has seen or the terrors that are out there.

Of them

It's not something to be proud of. Most times he hangs his head in shame and walks off somewhere to be alone for a while. His bedroom, the library, little odd rooms here and there just to get away from it all. He'll return a few hours later pretending like nothing is wrong before moving forward.

Them

He lied, he didn't kill all of them because he is still standing, still fighting, still moving forward. He will do so for as long as he can in memory of what he has lost and who he is.

The Last of the Time-Lords.
