A/N: Inception is my favorite movie. I love Arthur and Ariadne. They're soooo cute!

Plus, I'm really sick and I don't have the time to work on Author Meets FMA or come up with a Royai fic for Valentine's Day (I already had this fic planned out and I'm 'studying for science').

I haven't updated Author Meets FMA because I've been grounded off the comp until I get my grades up :( I promise that when I do update, I'll post at least three chapters or so. I'm only on the comp right now because I'm studying for science.

Disclaimer: I do not own Inception.

The Unicorn

There it was. That damn sparkly pink horn protruding from its stupid sparkly purple forehead. Its dumb sparkly pelt rubbing against the soft skin on her bare arms. Its void, black beads for eyeballs looking up at him lifelessly.

It was on her bed.

She was on her bed.

And it was in her arms, being cuddled to death. Where was he? Sitting on the bed next to her.

His glare hardened. Why had he even bought it for her? He could've gotten her chocolate or flowers. Hell, he could've gotten her a simple card and she would've been happy. But no. His girlfriend was rather childish at times, so he'd thought something childish like that would be the perfect gift. And it was.

But it was a little too perfect.

His girlfriend glanced up at him, her brown eyes wide with fake innocence. "Are you jealous?"

Him? Jealous? He huffed in denial at the thought. "No. Why would I be jealous of that?" He gestured to said 'that'.

"Because he's getting more love than you are," she replied with a smirk.

'Jesus christ,' he thought angrily. 'It's Valentine's Day. Freaking Valentine's Day! And a stuffed animal is getting more love than I am!' He didn't voice his thoughts out loud, though. "He? That thing is male?" he asked instead, shocked.

"Of course!" She chirped happily, cuddling the stuffed animal even more. Then she paused before looking up at him again with a mischievous grin. "Why? Does that make you even more jealous?"

Arthur growled, refusing to meet his girlfriend's gaze.

"Arthur," she sighed, rolling her eyes.

"What?" Without waiting for a reply, he continued. "Okay! I admit it. I, Arthur, point man, proud three-piece suit wearer and gentleman, am jealous of a stuffed, inanimate fantasy creature! Happy, Ariadne?"

Ariadne sat up and stared at him for a moment.

Then she burst out into laughter.

"What?" Arthur asked, baffled and confused.

The architect put her hand over her mouth to stop the flow of laughter before she spoke. "Arthur," she giggled. "He's a purple, sparkly stuffed unicorn."

"But it's a he!" Arthur protested.

Ariadne rolled her eyes. "'He' has a name, ya know. It's Phillipè."

"That's the dumbest, most unintelligent name I've ever—"

"Arthur," she said, putting a finger to his lips.

"What?"

"He's gay."
