Ok, so I was bored and this idea popped into my head. What if Ace Attorney wasn't cartoon and was performed by actors? And what if they hadn't origionally planned to have a new character as the assistant? I got this weird plot. Please review and tell me what you think, or I'll cry and not write anything anymore.
DISCLAIMER: I don't own Ace Attorney. Hear that, people of Capcom? This is FANFICTION. It is for my and others on the internet's amusment and I don't plan to make any money out of it.
"Aaaaand, CUT!" Called The Director through the megaphone. "Very good, very good. I'm really feeling that Atroquillitine poison in action!" Vera got up from the floor and brushed herself down. Pearl glared at her.
"So, let me get this straight? You want me and Apollo to do nothing for two weeks, while you film Wright in the courthouse?"
"Pearl." Muttered Apollo, "It's not that big a deal, why can't Wright have his say? He IS the unlucky sap who went from playing the star of the show to a drunk hobo."
"The point is," she continued, turning her back on Apollo, "The new film's called APOLLO JUSTICE not PHOENIX WRIGHT. I'm fed up pretending that guy's my adoptive father. The sooner me and Apollo find our real parents, the better, but how can we do that if you're busy doing a flashback of the day Wright lost his attorney badge?"
It was day 15 of filming the final case and The Director was, once again, scolding himself for picking Pearl Fey to play the cute and cheerful sidekick. Sure, her skill in drama was amazing, but he wished she would be a little less skilful when the camera was off. She was a real diva and her attitude was awful.
"The public will want to know what happened!" He explained for the thousandth time. "He's a hugely popular character, and we can't leave them thinking he used forged evidence by choice! Look, it's not all bad! You both get loads of mentions and the viewers are constantly reminded that you two are the new the stars!"
"I don't believe you!"
"Check the script!" he said, exasperated. "It's right there on page 105!" Pearl pulled out the script from her bag and flicked through.
"I AM in here!" she said triumphantly. "right there! Ha! Look at that, Justice! I get more screen time than you!"
"Ms. Fey, I urge not to jump to conclusions. That Pearl Fey will be played by a different actor. You're already twenty - we could hardly have you posing as a nine-year-old. It's not believable."
"Now you listen here, Director! I am the best thing that ever happened to this pathetic film of yours and I don't want some snotty little brat messing it up by trying to impersonate me! I play it all or not at all! Your choice!"
And that is how Trucy Enigmar got the part as the main female role in Apollo Justice.
