A/N: I wrote this poem for an English assignment, but since it's all about SatAM, I figured I'd post it and see if anybody likes it. The assignment was to 'match-and-change' ('match-and-change' means matching the syllables and flow line-by-line while also making the poem our own, about something we love) Lewis Carroll's "The Jabberwocky" poem, so if there's anything really similar, it's supposed to be like that.

The situation is just a normal day for the Knothole Freedom Fighter's leader, Sonic the Hedgehog. (That said, the person talking to him in the poem is Uncle Chuck.)

Disclaimer: I do not own the poem, "The Jabberwocky" by Lewis Carroll. I merely did as the assignment instructed and nothing more.

"Cyborg King"

'Twas morning and the horrid screams,

Did fright and chill in his bones.

All-suffering were those poor lost dreams,

Though nowhere their savior roamed.

/\/\/\

"Beware the Cyborg King, my son!

The red-beam eye, the metallic heart.

Beware those who were friends and shun

The creations that sputter and spark."

/\/\/\

He took his Power Ring in hand,

Long labored in assuring kin.

Waiting by their hidden land,

He stood and rubbed his chin.

/\/\/\

And, as in impatient thought he stood,

Giant 'bots, with weapons aflame,

Marched through the forest wood,

And deadly as they came!

/\/\/\

One, two! One, two! And slew and slew

His lightning-feet went double-and-back!

He smashed the heads and as True Blue

Bid adieu before shredding track.

/\/\/\

"And hast thou taken time to rest?

Be peaceful and nurse thy wounds!

O glorious day! Furrah! Furray!"

So went the lively tune.

/\/\/\

'Twas morning and the horrid screams,

Did fright and chill in his bones.

All-suffering were those poor lost dreams,

Though nowhere their savior roamed.

A/N: Thanks for reading, as always!
