Theme: Accidental discovery
It's a sneak attack for Arthur.
Eames is just a man, but he infuriates like a divine fly. He's disorganized, careless, easily distracted. He can't be trusted though he is cute.
But when Mal dies, it's Eames who brings him to the bar. It's Eames who buys him drinks until the wall slides away from him and Piaf croons. But he can't go back, and it's Eames that holds him when he doesn't wake up. It's Eames who takes him home, and Eames who stays.
And stays.
Arthur knows he's in love. "He makes great coffee" is just an excuse.
