A/N: Well, after the first half of tonight's episode, I couldn't resist this.
I don't wanna give too much away, so I'll just get on with this story.
I hope you guys like this, I know I'll love writing it.

She couldn't believe what she'd been missing out on all this time. He was funny. No, he was actually bordering on hilarious. She felt bad for ever thinking that he only had two emotions: serious, and pissed off. She'd seen plenty of both, but she'd never seen much of his laughter, she'd never seen him really having fun.
Until now.
After their side-stop at the diner, she was seeing him in a whole new light. It was ... exciting. At first, she'd been dreading the trip to Sudbury. Five hours, to and from, filled with nothing but awkward silence, and trying not to picture the other naked. No, she hadn't been looking forward to it. But now? Now he was making her laugh. Now, they were actually getting to know one another. Like the fact that he had a sister, and she was a sucker for a good joke. It was nice to sit down and actually talk with one another.
If she was being honest with herself, a lot of what had first attracted her to Sam Swarek was his mystique. His stoic attitude, his mysterious 'air'. She had actually started to think that if she got to know him, she wouldn't be as attracted to him, because the thrill would be gone. She could un-complicate her life by just learning a few simple things about him. Like the fact that he loved classic rock. She might not be into it, but it was nice to know that about him. The problem was, though ... the attraction hadn't faded. It hadn't gone away just because she knew a little more about what made him tick. It was still there. If anything, it was stronger.
She told herself that she would worry about it when they got back ... her man problems, that was. Right now ... for the next ten hours or so, she just wanted to get to know him a little better. She wanted to hear his jokes and listen to his bad music. She wanted to have fun.

The end.
What did you guys think? Like it, hate it?
I know this one was short, but I just loved Sam's little joke scene, so I had to do a little fic about this before it left my head.
Reviews are appreciated, flame if you must, but constructive criticism is much more useful.
Until next time ...
