I'm not that in to adding characters to already-great movies, but this was a dream that I had a few years ago after watching the movie. If its not great, I'm so sorry, but please don't flame me. R&R! ~J P.S. This is a one-shot, unless of course, you reviewers want more! X]

"I'm sick of being a lady!" I screamed to no one in particular.

I had been a "proper girl" all my life and I was tired of it, I could feel that I wasn't meant to live my life in a corset. I was meant to have a life of adventure and freedom!

I had heard of Billy The Kid and the Regulators, and unlike others who wanted him dead, I envied him. I wanted the wide open spaces and the thrill of the chase. That night I made my choice, I took some food, an outfit of my brother's and climbed out the window.

I heard rumors of where the Regulators were headed, but those were only rumors. I took my chances and went to New Mexico, via my daddy's horse. Hopefully they would let me join them; I am quite handy with a gun, though I hear Billy is quite the expert also.

By noon three days later I had found them, they leave quite a trail. I didn't know what to say, " Hi, My name is Sally May and I would like to join your gang." No, that just wouldn't do. I decided to put my long black hair up and pretend I was a man.

As I walked up to their camp they had made they all stared at me. Billy was looking me up and down, he couldn't know, could he? No, I did a good job in disguising myself, he'll never know. The first thing I did was introduce myself under an alias, I knew for a fact that Billy had many. Because his real name, which I later learned, was William H. Bonney.

"Hi, I'm Sam, Sam Ma…nson….town, yea, that's it! I'm Samuel Mansontown. " I held out my hand to Billy.

"Hey there, I'm Billy. Over there's Chavez, Doc, and Charlie. We just lost Dick" He shook his head.

"I'm sorry to hear that, I wanted to know, though, if I could ride with you?"

"They all looked at each other, exchanging knowing looks. Was telepathy real? Finally Billy looked at me and said, "Welcome to the Regulators.

Na, na na, na na na na na na na, na, na na, na na na na na na na. The beginning theme song (sorry id its wrong)

Later in the week Billy came up to me and asked if we could talk. Of course I said yes, I mean, during the week I started to notice the way the sun caught his hair and the way his eyes sparkled when he got an idea. I was ready to admit it, I was in love with Billy The Kid.

"So Sam, the boys and I wanted to know if," Oh, no! This was it, he figured it out!, "You wanted to join us tonight, we're all going to a party, and since you're new to the group, we wanted to know if you would like to come?"

"Ah, yes," I said in the manliest voice I could muster, "I'd love to come." Oops, I lost it there, I hope he didn't notice!

He gave me sort of a funny look but got up and said, "Good, we're leaving in an hour."

When we arrived in the little town that the party was taking place in, I spit up from the group. It was time that I showed them who I really was, a woman. I had to admit to myself, I was mostly doing this for Billy; I didn't want to be seen as a man any longer.

I bought a Mexican-style white dress, though the merchant gave me a weird look, and got ready.

There he is, I thought, he was leaning up against the wall of a building in the town square. I walked up to him and said hi. He looked at me and said, " Do I know you? You look really firmilar."

"Yes, but you may recognize me better with this on," I brought the hat from behind my back and tucked my ebony hair into it, and his jaw slacked a little.

"Sam?" He asked.

"Actually its Sally May, I've been pretending to be a man so I could be in your gang, are you mad?

By way of answer, he grabbed me around the waist and drew me into a kiss. "I'm glad you told me," he said, "I was beginning to think I was gay."
