First story upload! Let me know what you think? (I didn't want to mark this T.)
"Sam! Guess what!" Carly danced into her apartment, he best friend already there on her sofa.
"Spencer went shopping and he's bringing us dinner?" Sam said plainly while flipping channels. Carly giggled and plopped down next to Sam.
"The president just said that all states are gonna have to have gay marriage from now on! Isn't that cool?" Sam turned around to face the beaming Carly.
"Sweet! Lets celebrate." Sam turned around and hunched over. It looked like she was fiddling with her shoe. Or not. She turned around and grabbed Carly's left hand. Sam twirled around and leaned over Carly and the arm of the sofa with her arms over Carly's shoulders. She still held her hand and there was something in her other hand.
"Here!" Sam pushed something onto Carly's covered left ring finger. Carly craned her neck to give Sam a quizzical smile. She turned back to see Sam's big rainbow ring on her finger. With a smile on her face, she turned around.
"Sam, what are you-" Carly was muffled by Sam's mouth before she realized what was going on. She was surprised at first and her eyes grew wide, but when she quickly thought about it, it was pretty nice! She closed her eyes and tried to enjoy it, but her mind raced a bit.
'Shes really good at this! It could be worse, at least I can trust Sam. And I've kinda been wondering what this would be like...' Carly felt Sam's teeth tug on her lower lip as she pulled away. The grin on Sam's face was blinding.
"Marry me, Carly Shay?" Carly could feel herself smiling quickly and she felt the blush on her cheeks.
"Sure, Sammy Puckett." Carly twirled Sam's sleeve on her finger.
"Great!" Sam said as she quickly pecked Carly on the lips and went to the fridge. Carly shook her head with a light chuckle and held her hand and the ring to her heart as she sat back and went back to watching the TV. Sam came back with a sandwich and sat next to Carly. Without a word, they turned to each other at the same time and smiled.
