Even Kel gets scared sometimes…

DomPOV
"Dom, can you go tell Yuki that I'll be late to dinner? Tell her not to wait. Don't bother with a return message, go have dinner yourself. Send her my love."
Dom would be happy to do anything that would get him out of the stuffy infirmary. "Sure, whatever. Thanks."
"No problem," Neal smiled, "I know not everyone likes it in here like I do."
The delivery of the message went without a hitch, and Dom decided to drop in on Kel – Yuki said that she'd left dinner early, looking sad. "No trouble," he'd said. "I'll cheer her up!"
So down the hall, through to the East wing, 3rd door on the left. What do I do know? Knock on the door, you idiot. But what if she doesn't want to see me?
Knock on the door. Now.
Dom knocked.
"Go away, Yuki! I'm fine." An almost-crying voice said. Dom couldn't be sure if it was Kel's, however, because he'd never heard her crying before.
"Kel? It's me, Dom. Please let me in."
No Reply
Fine. If that's how you're going to be.
Dom opened the door. "Kel? It just me." He couldn't see her, but heard slight sobs coming from the patterned paper that she got changed behind.
"Kel, c'mon, I won't hurt you."
She sighed, except it got caught up with a cry and became a hiccup. "Go awy, Dom. I am fine by myself. Leave me alone."
"No you're not. Tell me what's wrong – maybe I can make it better."
"No. You can't. It would take a God. Whih, whatever you think, you are not."
"Ouch. My ego stings."
She humphed. "Your ego needs a few good stings. Maybe that would bring it down a few notches."
"Stop sidetracking me. Whats wrong?"
"Remember that night? About a month ago? The one we promised never to mention?"
"I- Kel, you know I'm sorry for that. I was stupid, and, and drunk- "
"-No, that's not what I meant. I, I mean, that's the night, but… that's not the problem."
"Then what is?"
She looked Dom straight in the eye.
"Dom, I'm pregnant."
And hows that, munchkins?
OneShot only, that's the way it goes.
