CHAPTER

In the wizarding world

Things really hadn't been going well for the wizarding world since Hyacinth had left and the retribution part of the ritual had really kicked in. Not that anyone knew this was the reason everything seemed to have gone to hell for the majority of the magical world in England.

As only certain people knew that Hyacinth had used a ritual to escape the situation that she had been forced into by the Majority of the wizarding world. In fact, due to a certain manipulative old goat the majority seemed to now harbor a great hatred for the woman who had been put through so much in an attempt to save all their lives

This was all because that as far as the majority of the wizarding world was allowed to know was that since Hyacinth, the one treasured so-called girl had lived, and done the exact opposite of that and had died. At least according to Albus Dumbledore, things had gone from bad to worse for them. And that was even with the death of the Dark Lord Voldemort, whom Hyacinth had defeated before she had 'died'.

Of course, this bad luck was promptly blamed on said 'dead' girl as obviously if she had lived and done her duty to the wizarding world like she had been supposed to do. Things would have gone a lot better than they currently were.

As they would have the girl-who-lived to fix the problems or if not that have her there in person to take the blame and be forced to some how take care of whatever was causing said problems. Or at least that is what those who were blaming her was feeling, as like the majority of things they wanted someone else to blame for the problems that were of their own making.

Seeing as it seemed even in her 'death' Hyacinth had been able to give the middle finger to the whole wizarding world. Something that she had done often when she had been still in said world and others had been trying to force her to do something she didn't want to do. And at the same time, now that she was utterly gone it was something that had utterly frustrated the Headmaster and his little followers. More so then ever, when nothing they seemed to do to fix whatever was going on never seemed to work the way they wanted it to. If anything, any attempts to change or fix what was going on only seemed to make it that much worse for the person attempting to fix said problem.

Starting with the fact when three months ago, right after Hyacinth had gone through with the ritual she had done; and escaped the hold of the wizarding world after she had done so. And right after the Headmaster had claimed her to be dead, from battle injures due to her battle with the former Dark Lord of all things.

The headmaster in questions, along with the majority of the order of the Phoenix had gone to Grinngotts to have her 'will' read. The one the Headmaster had gotten made when Hyacinth had been fourteen. Believing that after said will was read things would finally start take a turn for the better as he got the money he had long since deserved.

So imagine all of their surprise when they found out that the will the headmaster had left had been replaced, and before he could do anything to get it classified as invalid as Hyacinth wasn't classified as an adult yet, and as her guardian he'd have to approve of any will she made until she was classified as an adult. Which he'd use to place his older will in place.

However, when he attempted to do this he found out that despite what he thought Hyacinth was actually classed as an adult as she had finished all her testing need to do so. Meaning the Will in question was a valid one and it couldn't be replaced with the older one, and no amount of complaining or bribing seemed to change that.

Which meant to Dumbledore's utter frustration he didn't get a single thing that he wanted. That he had planned to get, and that he felt he deserved to get. And things only got worse for him from there on. As everything that seemed to be able to go wrong for him preceded to do just that; go wrong in the most horrible ways.

Not only did he not get the money he felt he deserved form the bank but shortly after that, found himself being blocked from entering his school. With all his things somehow broken or torn up on right in front of the gates of said school; and it was honestly only his things not the items he had claimed as his over the many year.

After, just when he felt things couldn't get worse, and as he found himself covered in mud, as well as failed potion attempts, He found the bond he had forced on the school Phoenix broken. And with said bond broke half his magic suddenly missing with it.

Not only that but, all the magical creature in the forest seemed to either disappear altogether, or if not that suddenly becoming really hostile to him as Dumbledore found himself being attacked by any magical creature he came a crossed. Be it a garden Gnome to the giant spiders that were in the forest. Hell, on one memorable occasions Both the Dumbledore, as well as Ron, had been chased around a clearing near the forbidden forest by a unicorn of all things trying to impel them on its horn. Sadly, they had been able to escape it by jumping into a nearby tree; not so sadly this tree happened to be in Acromatuals territory.

All and all having all these animals attacking him was making it so that Dumbledore had to be ready for an attack nearly every where he went; making him incredible jumpy and paranoid about everything he did. At the same time, as it continued to happen, the former headmaster found himself immensely grateful for the fact there were no Dragons anywhere nearby. As he wasn't sure how he'd survive being attacked by several of therm.

Especially as with the recent cut in his magic he had barely managed to defeat the several Acromantulas that had attacked him just a while back. In fact, he had lost several fingers in that attack, though he did make it out better then Ron had as he hadn't lost his entire arm; wand and all like the teen had.

It wasn't only Dumbledore or Ron that suffered attacks from magical animals either, in fact the majority of the Order of the Phoenix seemed to sufferer these types of attacks and three of them had actually died in said attacks. As they had attempted to go deeper in to forbidden forest after they too had been barred from Hogwarts; though they had done so to get away from the giant squid in the lake that seemed keen on grabbing them. And it wasn't only with animal attacks, or the sudden lack of funds, that things had gone to hell for those in the wizarding world. No that was much to simple for any type of retribution ritual.

In fact, as those who had all been marked found out, it was only just the beginning of a very painful, very hard lesson that several of the more hard head ones, or particular stupid ones might not actually live long enough to learn.

Because while they had suffered through the animals that had a connection to magic, they still hadn't felt the touch of wrath from everything else Magic deal with. So yes, this was honestly only the very beginning of what promised to be one painful lesson.

Back to the One piece world

Hyacinth was utterly confused one minute she and her brother were being sucked into a whirlpool with no way of being able to get out of in, and then the next her eyes had been closed as she heard the familiar roar of her Familiar coming from underneath her.

Causing Hyacinth to snap her eyes open in panic to find out just what was going on, and more importantly to find out just where her little brother was. Because unlike her, Hyacinth hadn't been nearly as successful in getting his weakness against the ocean due to his devil fruit out of Luffy.

Which was not from the lack of trying on either one of their parts, and only stopped when they found out it literally seemed to be impossible. Meaning unlike her Luffy still wasn't able to swim; something that was rather deadly considering the circumstances they had just been in.

It was doing this that Hyacinth found out several things. One she was currently still in the water, just skimming the surface of the water from on Hedwig's back. Something that had her wondering just how she hadn't noticed it earlier as her entire head was still underwater, and while she didn't need to breath nearly as often as a normal human did, she did still need to breath at some point.

Which was why she lifted her head up out of the water. Well that, and the fact she needed to look around to see if she could see any part of their old boat which would still hopeful have Luffy on in. As while the boat may have been crushed by the whirlpool there may have been large enough pieces for Luffy to grab on to, right?

It was by doing this she noticed the next thing, they were in the middle of the ocean with their home island nowhere to be seen. And that was with Hyacinth using her much more advance vampiric eye sight to see said island.

It was as if the whirlpool they had been in had somehow transported her, and hopefully her brother, into a whole new location. Far enough away that they couldn't even see where they had originally started from; something that would have taken them quite a while if they had still been on the boat they had left from.

Then again if they were still on the boat they had started out on before the whirlpool Hyacinth would know where not only she was but where her brother was at the same time. But now all Hyacinth could see was what looked like nothing but open sea. Worse yet, with no floating wood or Luffy in site. Seeing this, Hyacinth began to feel a growing panic build up in her chest.

That is until she remembered the tracking charm she had tied to Luffy's hat, with said brother's knowledge of her doing so. Seeing as she had also tied a similar tracking charm on to her blades that her brother could activate with a certain word so he could find her if she ever got lost; something she doubted her brother even really remembered. But at the same time had felt a little warm and happy as she did the charm in question.

She had decided to tie her charm for Luffy on his hat as she knew that he never went anywhere without it, and that if she could find the hat, she could find her brother. Just as she had tied her charm to her blades, as Luffy also knew she never went anywhere without them. Still Knowing this Hyacinth activated the charm so she could find her brother.

Only to feel a mixture of relief, happiness, and a sense of oh my god what has Luffy gotten into now, once she activated the charm in question and saw that it was coming from boat not to far off in the distance. A boat now that she had gotten Hyacinth to bring her closer to it, she could see was some type of Pirate ship. Seeing this and knowing her brother Hyacinth couldn't help but face palm as she muttered out.

"Luffy you better not be causing as much trouble as I feel that you are going to cause…But damn I'm glad your okay." Though after she said this Hyacinth couldn't help but blink and wonder just why she had immediately felt that Luffy was okay and now causing trouble when she found out that he was on a pirate ship instead of assuming that he had some how been captured.

That is, she was thinking that before she burst out laughing yeah, if Luffy had been captured things would look or sound a lot worse then they were at the moment; as she knew Luffy would fight tooth and nail to avoid being captured.

Or at least she hoped he would. Though now that the thought of Luffy being captured was in her head, she couldn't get rid of it, she could see someone using food to capture Luffy, she had done it enough to get him to train so why wouldn't someone else use it to capture him. Or worse they could use his trusting nature against him and capture him that way. Something she swore she'd never forgive anyone who did that; as she hated anyone who made her brother doubt himself. And being captured that way would most certainly make him doubt something.

Not to mention she knew not all Pirate where like Shanks or his crew, or like how Luffy wanted to be. Meaning that there were people out there who would capture her brother and sale him off to something like slavery. Something she had found out to her horror was still a hugely active part of this world; even if it was on the other side of the ocean of this world. And from what she heard Devil fruits were sought after by those who sold slaves. Which got her all the more worried about Luffy.

So yeah now that she thought about it, she wasn't nearly as calm or as sure about Luffy as she had been earlier. Even if she did know Luffy was a skilled fighter he was still her little brother and she knew she had a reason to be worried. So, with that in mind Hyacinth urged Hedwig to go faster to the Pirate ship she felt that her brother was currently on.

Once she reached the ship in question Hyacinth asked Hedwig to reman below the water where no one could see her, at least until she was called on. ready to use her familiar as a way to give anyone who may chase her a good scare for doing so; after all not many people reacted well to a giant seaking jumping out of the water roaring at you. Especially not one the size Hedwig had managed to grow too. Then Hyacinth jumped from her familiar's back and on to the ship that currently housed her brother.

However, as she did this, and as she prepared to rain down hell on anyone that might be threatening her brother she found she didn't have to. Nor did she have to really worry about said brother. Because as she landed on said ship she heard said bother speaking, his tone as well as what he was saying making Hyacinth eye twitch once more; while at the same time making her wonder why the hell was she so worried about the idiot = in question as she heard it.

"I don't see how you're the most beautiful person in the sea; not at all. My sister is waaaaay prettier then you. Though like you she does seem to still terrify the mean around her…I mean there was this one time, well…I was made to promise to never talk about that, it was just that bad. I honestly didn't know the human body could bend that way…"

If Hyacinth didn't know Luffy she would have thought that he was trying to make her sound scarier then she was. But Hyacinth did know Luffy and knew that sadly he was being truthful with everything that he had just said. And knowing this couldn't help but lift her leg up and kick the closed door in front of her, the only thing separated her from her Brother, with a loud cry of.

"LUFFY YOU IDIOT!"
