Fuji Shusuke wasn't exactly sure how the events that added up to a half naked Ibu Shinji being in his bedroom, muttering about all of his cacti, but he wasn't really complaining. After all, the dark haired pale skin boy was far from ugly.
And really, Fuji had no idea what he was muttering about anymore. It started off about his cacti, then went to cars, and from then on, he ignored him, and simply sat on his bed, smiling like he usually does and nodding occasionally.
The boy was absolutely adorable.
They had never really had much contact before, despite both of this "prodigy" titles. And they were polar opposites. But Fuji currently found his self enjoying the younger boys company.
"….so why do you have so many cacti in your room?" Sensing that he was finished, Fujis smile widened.
"Saa. I suppose I just enjoy them. You don't collect anything, Ibu kun?" He asked, and the boy blinked.
"Ive never really had a reason to collect something. And why do people collect things? Unless maybe they want to sell them in the future for good money. But then it takes up a lot of space. I don't like a really messy room. Its to hard to find stuff. That reminds me, I need to find my grip tape soon too. I wonder what I did with it? Unless I let Akira kun borrow it again…."
Fuji once again blocked the boys ramblings out. As interesting as they were, his thoughts were beginning to stray. Yes, the boy was cute, and yes, his habit of mumbling was adorable, but……
"…..I should probably go, since the rains let up. Thanks for letting me stay here, Fuji san, I never would have made it back to my house in this storm." The dark haired boy had put his newly dried shirt back on, and was now looking at Fuji expectantly.
Fuji locked eyes with him, and smiled brightly. "It was no trouble at all, Ibu kun."
He found himself leading the boy downstairs to the front door.
"thanks again. I…." And he was off again. Fuji chuckled, causing the boy to pause and blink. "Fuji san?"
"Its nothing, Ibu kun. Goodbye." With that, Shinji walked away, and Fuji closed the door.
He sighed.
Perhaps next time he would have his thoughts in order, and actually be able to listen to the boy talk.
And , if he was feeling particularly brave that day, maybe more.

I havent watched or read Prince of Tennis in ages, so if the characters are a little OOC, try not to hate me too much.
If this was confusing to anyone, Shinji was caught in a storm outside, ran into Fuji, and the two went to Fuji's house because Shinjis was too far away. Though Ive been told oneshots arent suppose to make sense.....
I noticed that no one has this pairing up, and thought that it was kinda, well, cute!
Review and tell me what you think about it. Even thought its just a oneshot and there really isn't much romance…….
Blah. Oh well.
Reviews are greatly appreciated.
