It is with a heavy heart that I finally admit I just no longer have the time to write fanfiction. My last ditch attempt to finish them by posting them to my livejournal, with my last upload being almost a year ago, unfortunately did not work. I'm sorry to those of you who followed me there that I was unable to finish them.

I am placing all my uncompleted stories up for adoption. If you choose to adopt a story, please pm me (on ) so that I may let those interested know by posting your penname in the story in question.

I will very shortly be privatizing the fanfiction posts on my livejournal (if I haven't already), and hosting them solely on . The few fanfictions that were introduced to my livejournal but not on , will be posted on fanfiction shortly after. I will also be uploading any remaining written portions and notes for each chapter to fanfiction. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Chapter Three

"Hey Naruto-kun, could you do me another favor? Make another clone for me?" Naruto was confused, but did as Shizune asked. Shizune then turned to the clone. "I want you to see if the knowledge gained from one clone can be passed onto other clones or just the original Naruto. If another clone gets this memory, I want one of them to tell the Tsunade-clone they're closest to, that it's time for lunch, and then have that Tsunade-clone disperse."

"But how do you disperse a clone?" the clone asked. "Other than us getting hit or doing it on our own?"

"I'm sure Naruto can do it mentally, but for now, the Tsunade-clone can disperse itself." The clone nodded along to Shizune's assessment, and then popped itself. The real Naruto shook his head, as he received the memories from that clone too.

"Weird," Naruto said. Shizune giggled, and the two went back to their lunch.

All of the Naruto clones froze (leading several of them to sink into the water or have their kunai fall down).

"Nee-chan!" they all called out at once. Each of the Tsunade clones pointed to one Naruto clone, which explained what Shizune had wanted.

"Alright all of you go find the other group," the Tsunade on the water said, before dispersing. After receiving the information from that one, the other Tsunade clone ordered the closest Naruto clone to disperse so the other group of clones could find them.

Had any ninja been around, they would have seen a huge orange blob stampeding towards a clearing in the forest.

"Enter," Sarutobi's voice came from inside. The two loyal Sannin entered the office, both in bad moods. Sarutobi shivered, and held back a groan. Something told him this was just going to be one of those days.

Tsunade froze, gaining the information from her clone, so Jiraiya spoke first.

"Did you know that Koharu and Homura told me that Naruto was dead?" he asked. Judging by the startled look on his sensei's face, the answer was no. The startled look quickly turned to anger.

"They did what?" Sarutobi yelled. His eye twitched, as he went over to the door, and spoke to one of the ANBU. "Go find Homura and Koharu and inform them that they are to drop whatever it is they are doing unless it is life and death and come here immediately." The ANBU nodded and took off.

Sarutobi turned back around to face his students. "I will get to the bottom of this. Is there anything else you can tell me about it?" Jiraiya nodded and began speaking.

Flashback

"Where is he?" Jiraiya asked, entering the room that Naruto had last been in. Koharu and Homura were there instead. They shared a mournful glance.

"I'm sorry Jiraiya," Koharu said, "but the son of Namikaze Minato is dead, the Kyuubi along with him." Jiraiya saw red.

"What did you do?" he snarled at them.

"Nothing, it was before we even got here," Homura answered. "Hiruzen-kun took the body for burial. He would have been here to tell you himself, but he has to go take back the offices of Hokage. You know how Danzo is, always seeking power. He's been sniffing around since just after the Kyuubi was sealed.

"No!" Jiraiya cried out, before collapsing. The two Elders barely caught him before he hit the floor, and continued holding him while he cried. Eventually, Jiraiya pushed them away and got up.

"Where are you going?" Homura asked.

"Away from here. Tell sensei I'll be back in a few years and not to bother me. I'll send my reports on time." The two nodded, as Jiraiya left the room, intending to leave Konoha for good.

End Flashback

"I see," Sarutobi said, moments before a knock came on the door. The ANBU from before poked his head in the door.

"The Elders are here," he said. Sarutobi nodded.

"Tell them to wait for a little while. If they give you any trouble, tell them they can wait out there or they can wait in one of Ibiki's cells." The ANBU nodded, before his head disappeared and he closed the door. Sarutobi sighed. "I was dealing with Danzo over the Hokage Offices at the time. I told them to wait with Naruto until you, me, or Kakashi came to get him. Obviously, there was something going on that I wasn't aware of. I apologize. I will find out what's going on."

"While we're on the subject of Naruto," Tsunade said. "I need to find someone named Gekkou Hayate for part of Naruto's training." Sarutobi nodded again.

"Once you leave, tell one of the ANBU members to get Yugao. She's his girlfriend, and will be able to tell you where you can find him."

"Alright, now, about the two Elders. They kept Naruto from his family," Tsunade said, "even if it is the pervert. As his Master, I want the harshest punishment possible."

"I second that," Jiraiya said. "They had no right to interfere. If I had known Naruto was alive, I would have taken him in and taught him everything he needed to know about being a ninja."

"And a pervert," Tsunade said under her breath, before continuing. "Also, as his Master, I want a fight with his…Jounin sensei. Oh." Tsunade paused when Sarutobi handed her the paperwork for the fight she wanted. "Thank you. Now, is there anything else we need to take care off before I take Naruto into the house tonight?" Sarutobi shook his head.

"I don't believe so. If something comes up, we'll deal with it on the day the house is charging."

"Then I'll take my leave. I still have to find Gekkou before I go back home."

"Tsunade-chan?" Koharu asked, surprised to see the blonde come out of the Hokage's office. "Do you know what's going on?" Tsunade frowned.

"I'm sure you'll find out soon enough," she told them, before turning to the ANBU. "I need one of you to get a Yugao for me. I need her help to find her boyfriend." The same ANBU that had gotten the Elders nodded, and disappeared.

While she was waiting, Tsunade created another shadow clone, before immediately dispersing it.

The Tsunade clone froze for a second, before gesturing for the closest Naruto clone to come closer.

"Alright, Tsunade has one more errand to run, and then she'll be home. Make sure you tell Shizune." She then happily bopped him on the head, dispersing him. Dealing with a larger group was slowly driving the Tsunade clone crazy.

"Eh?" Naruto said. "Oh. Tsunade has another errand to run, and then she'll be home," Naruto told Shizune. "She didn't have to hit so hard." He rubbed his head.

"You felt what she did to the clone?" Shizune asked.

"No, but I remember what it felt like. If I ever piss her off, kill me before she gets to me, please?" Shizune giggled, but wasn't sure whether Naruto was really joking or not.

Original End to Chapter 2

Two weeks later, Naruto's schedule was interrupted by near-tragedy. Every regular day he would spend a few hours with Konoha's resident kenjutsu master, Gekkou Hayate. When Hayate didn't show up for training one day, Naruto went looking for him.

It was only by pure luck that Naruto found him still alive, but fading quickly. Naruto made several clones to go alert people and then started a medical jutsu – (Inside Heal) – it was a basic jutsu, but it would start healing his internal injuries which seemed to be the most damaging.

Naruto knew he wouldn't be able to help much (a few hours of jutsu training for thirty-nine days didn't make one a medic-nin and he only knew four basic medical jutsu) but he would do his best and hope it was Tsunade or Shizune that came first. Thankfully, they were, Tsunade arriving only moments after Shizune did.

Hayate was saved from death, though he was currently in a coma. Yugao, Hayate's girlfriend, vowed revenge on whoever had done this to him, and Naruto pushed himself in his training. Tsunade had to force him into a sleep several times, and any time he had used as a break before was used studying. He started soaking up jutsu like a sponge, learning another seven medial jutsu, the summoning jutsu (Tsunade took him to the summoning scrolls room on one of the regular days – his summons were wolves, two jutsu he should have learned in the academy, and he was close to being able to use Tsunade's own monstrous strength.

By the end of the month, his chakra control was perfect, although he had to keep practicing it every day as the seal was constantly converting the Kyuubi's chakra into his own. He also had to purify his chakra constantly to remove the demonic taint. Tsunade had estimated that at the rate the seal was converting chakra he would have all of the Kyuubi's chakra by the time he was thirty, if he lived that long.

During the 'month' of training, Tsunade had also told him about his parents – Namikaze Minato and Uzumaki Kushina. He was also given their scrolls, some containing detailed diagrams of their jutsu. He definitely got his handwriting skills (read 'chicken scratch') from his mother. He also tested for his affinity, coming up with two – wind, his own, and fire, the Kyuubi's. He was trying to figure out how to combine the two (wind plus fire equals lightning) so he could perform Hiraishin, which was dependent on the user having a lightning affinity, as well as the seals.

Of all their jutsu, he only got two down, both his mothers. He also furthered his knowledge in seals. There were two types:

The regular seals, containing twelve seals like jutsu handsigns (monkey, rabbit, horse, rat, pig, goat, dragon, rooster, ox, snake, tiger, and dog), four for the primary elements (fire, water, wind, and earth), four for the secondary elements (ice, lightning, sound, and lava), and three for the beings (God, Human and Demon).

Then there were the medical seals, containing (like regular seals) twelve like the jutsu of the handsigns, one for each of the eight chakra gates, four for the primary elements, several hundred for just about every part of the body, and five for the senses (taste, touch, sound, smell, hearing).

And of course, there were the scratch cards. The companies who made them kept sending them to Konoha after they hard the Legendary Sucker was in town. Five times Sarutobi bought all of Konoha's scratch cards, and five times Naruto won them all. The two million, three-hundred forty-six thousand, seven-hundred eighty ryo that Naruto won was again split in half between him and Tsunade. Tsunade's share was taken by Shizune to pay off her debts. Then came the big day: The Chuunin Exams

Orochimaru's eyes narrowed as tall the competitors, save the Uchiha, entered the arena. His eyes stopped immediately on the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki.

'So she's been training him, hmm? Let's see how well' he thought. 'It's a good think I told Kabuto to wait until the tournament was over after all.'

Naruto glanced at the other competitors and frowned.

'Where the hell is Sasuke? I was looking forward to kicking his ass,' he thought.

"Welcome to the third part of the Chuunin Exams," the man in front of them stated. "My name is Shiurani Genma and I will be your proctor for this exam." Naruto's eyes darkened slightly and his frown grew deeper, but only Shino noticed it.

'I will find a way to heal you Hayate-sensei, and maybe, if she ever finds out who did it, I'll help Yugao-chan kill the bastard.' Feeling the Kyuubi stir because of his anger, Naruto took a deep breath to calm down. It was only then he noticed Shino, and now Gaara, eyeing him strangely.

Sasuke smirked as he and Kakashi headed towards the arena. Now that he had the Chidori, there was no way the dobe could beat him now.

Naruto yawned as Neji spewed on about how it was his destiny to win and Naruto's to lose.

"Bo-ring," Naruto said to him. Suddenly three more Narutos, all with a Chakra Enjintou in each hand popped out of the ground around Neji and attacked. The clones took aim at Neji's ankles, trying to cut the tendons. Neji, although surprised, managed to move out of the way, before using a Kaiten to destroy the clones.

Naruto stood calmly in the same spot. "You know, you kind of suck," the blonde said.

"You stupid loser," Neji said, trying to get Naruto angry. Said blonde just snorted.

"You blame everything on a deity that you can't possibly prove actually exists, and I'm the stupid loser?" Naruto asked. "I may be a 'loser' but at least I don't blame everything bad that happens to me on someone else."

"You know nothing!" Neji snarled, attacking him with Jyuuken. Naruto only dodged.

"I know you're not the only one whose life has been screwed up," Naruto growled back, "You wouldn't be able to survive through half of what I have in this village and come out better for it. You're so stuck on the bad things in your life, you can't even see the good things. I hate people like you – people who think they see everything but can't see a damn thing."

Sometime during his mini-speech, Naruto had moved from defensive to offensive, using a slightly less dangerous version of Chakra Enjintou, only meant to block the flow of chakra, similar to the Jyuuken. He used a sweeping kick to knock Neji off his feet, and held one of the Enjintou close to the Hyuuga's heart.

"People like you disgust me. Did it ever occur to you that if Hinata wanted to win without proving her own abilities, she could have used that seal on your forehead? And yes I know about that," Naruto added the last part when Neji's eyes widened in disbelief. "You should yield Hyuuga. You've already lost."

"I still have enough chakra to do Kaiten," Neji said quietly.

"Even if you could pull it off while flat on your back, you'd be dead before you could get enough rotation," Naruto replied, moving the Chakra Enjintou slightly closer to Neji's chest.

Other Written Portions

Kabuto needed to act the part of an ANBU for Orochimaru's plans to work correctly, meaning he needed to find one that was easy pickings. Seeing a lone ANBU, and sensing no others around, he attacked.

Yugao was an ANBU for a good reason. She always kept her emotions out of her work, but with the recent happenings, it wasn't surprising that she had been extra vicious lately. Several of the other ANBU that the Hokage ordered to guard the arena avoided coming into contact, and even sight range, of her. Yugao turned as she felt another's presence and grinned viciously. Yugao got a lot of stress relief by beating the crap out of the silver haired traitor, before dragging his ass back to Ibiki.

Kabuto never knew what hit him.

Hishou Kasai Genkotsu Kara Hera no Jutsu: Flying Fire Fist from Hell Jutsu. Fire jutsu that creates a flying fist of fire that will search out the nearest pervert and beat on him.

Kazeryuu Tatsumaki no Jutsu: Wind Dragon Tornado Jutsu. Wind jutsu that creates a wind dragon head that shoots tornados at your enemy.

Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Summoning Jutsu. Summons animal that user has contract with. Naruto: Wolves.

Chakra Kiyome: Chakra Purification. Meditation like technique that purifies human chakra of any 'taint' it finds.
