A/N: Dean's eyes at the end of the finale have seriously been haunting me. I knew I had to put something of what I see into words. I hope I've done them justice.

Mournful green eyes fraught
with a keen, endless despair.
Stark loneliness and loss
welling, violently overspilling
from the somber, bottomless
depths of a steadfast warrior's
once hopeful soul.
Silent screaming.
A grave and
urgent
pleading.
