Hey! I write poetry too, so it's always nice to find some good ones out there. I especially liked this: "a steadfast warrior's once hopeful soul". Nice!

Superb Vanessa and heartbreaking. Dean's eyes always say so much and you could imagine Sam's heartbreak too looking into his eyes, and unable to do anything to save him.

I love this peom more every time I read it.

Will we ever get over those eyes which reflect as much depth in death as they do in life. As I've said before, if ever a saying was true, "eyes are the windows to a man's soul" was written for Dean Winchester. Thank God for Jensen.

Wow, this expresses it all. No wonder Sam was so distraught, he read the same thing in his brother's eyes, it had to kill him. To loose your brother after you promised to save him is bad enough, but then see this written in his eyes. You sure have a way with words. Hugs, Vonnie

I liked this, very lonely and dark. Really great job, I think you captured the torment he is feeling. I personally think that since the camera zeroed in to his eye that maybe Dean is stuck somewhere in his minds eye, somewhere in between. I think Sam will save the day. I'm anxious to see Season 4. Wonderful job on your poem.
