Tenshi: Blame this on...you know what, you can't blame this on anything, BECAUSE I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT! Bwahahahaha! ...Even though I DON'T OWN. cough
Gasp
He'd left him again, but he supposed he was okay with that.
He'd heard the two of them-his lover and Lavi, that is- doing the things that he oh so often wished that the raven would do with him. They'd been in the library, as much as he knew the raven hated to be out in the open with matters such as this.
He'd been in there to get a book of research for his latest mission. Actually, he was on his way to find Lavi to help him find what was necessary for him to have, ironically enough, when he'd heard a gasp.
And it was that simple gasp, naught more that a sharp exhale, slightly wavering, that he recognized somewhat. It was short, and curt, and would probably be accompanied by a shiver of delight, but it ended just as quickly as it began (which, oddly enough, made him happy), probably cut off by a sharp bite to the lips, probably hard enough to draw blood.
He also heard Lavi withdraw, and the rustle of cloth, which told him that the two were finished with their less-than-orthodox activities and the sharp thwack of a book being dropped-they'd probably knocked it off the shelf. Another rustle of fabric, the soft whoosh of the raven's hair as it was tied up again, and the metallic clank of belt buckles were all clues that he needed to leave. The two didn't say anything, and he could hear the sound of his own footsteps echo through the hall as he ran, for one not getting lost, to his room.
The reason he was okay, the reason that kept him moving was that gasp. It wasn't the simple exhale that made him less depressed, no, but the one word that was said, so quietly, he was sure that even Lavi, who had been so close at the time, hadn't heard it.
He'd heard him say it.
'Allen...!"
Kanda had said his name while screwing around with Lavi, and that was the only thing that kept Allen smiling though his tears.
Owari...?
