Well I guess I shouldn't be drifting off to Ouran when I still have like 10 FMA things to get done…but I ditched school today and me and my sister went to the doctor's for a blood and urine test (fun, right?). When I was getting my blood taken, my mom was just like, "Look away!" (I found out that it didn't bother me too much). Then when my sister was taking HALF AN HOUR to pee (way to go before we came), I noticed how nauseatingly clean the place smelled…and thus, this fic was born.
NeedlesNeither of the Hitachiin brothers liked the doctor's very much. The smell of those places was just too nauseatingly clean. And it was boring.
However, checkups are necessary, so one day they were allowed to skip school entirely to get such a checkup done. Everything from height and weight, checking pulses, eyesights and hearing, and shots and blood tests were to be performed.
Both twins complained about going to that wretched place, but while Hikaru eventually gave in, Kaoru wouldn't give it any rest.
"But mom, it's so pointless!"
"I really don't see why we have to go."
"Why can't we just have our family doctor come here or something?"
"Can't we pass Hikaru off as me, too? You could do it, right Hikaru?"
Yet despite all of his protests, both twins got dragged off to the doctor's. Heights and weights were taken, no problems there, as well as with their pulses, eyesights and hearing. Hikaru was sent to the waiting room as Kaoru got his shots for who-knows-what diseases- or to prevent them, or whatever stupid thing they had him doing in there. Hikaru had just begun wondering why they both couldn't get shots at the same time instead of making him wait without his twin (it had worked fine for the past five things, so why not now?) when he heard a yelp coming from the direction of the room that Kaoru had gone into.
"Kaoru!?" Hikaru ran to the office, where he heard a crash. He thrust open the door to find an overturned table with (to his eyes, though perhaps not to those of a professional) random surgical equipment on the floor, and a doctor with a needle trying to calm a red-haired boy with amber eyes huddled in his chair. Kaoru looked at Hikaru…
And that's when it hit him. The younger of the two was terrified of needles; that's why he was so against going!
"H-Hikaru…"
"Stupid. You should've just told me," Hikaru scolded his brother, walking to his side, Kaoru's eyes following his every movement. "Don't look at it and you'll be fine; all you need to look at is me, remember?" he reminded him, brushing his lips softly against his twin's. The doctor, ignoring their displays of brotherly love, took the chance to quickly slide the needle into Kaoru's arm and swiftly pull it back out.
"There, that wasn't so bad, now, was it?" Hikaru asked with a smile.
Kaoru, blushing, nodded, and said, "But…I still have three more to go…" They both smiled.
So maybe the doctor's wasn't so boring…Now if only they could do something about that nauseatingly clean stench.
Hope you liked : ) I actually ran out of room when I was writing this and had to write it on the back of my notebook lol. Yeah…they're rich, so I guess they have private doctors and stuff…but too bad : P By the way, my hands STILL smell like the doctor's xP Reviews are love!
