Sanji has his own morning routine. He's always one of the earliest risers, only losing a couple of times to Usopp, who never could stay asleep without finding inspiration.

On his way to the stove he notices a yellow note stuck to the fridge. Sanji has to pause for a few seconds to wonder whether that's always been there, that maybe it's a grocery list for himself.

'We're out of eggs. Maybe you should watch how liberally you use our ingredients.'

Still a little groggy, Sanji frowns to register what the note is saying. He's furious when he finally figures it out and goes storming out of the galley.

Sanji throws the men's cabin door open, startling Chopper in the process. Usopp is nowhere to be found.

He leaves just as angry, now equally frustrated, but decides to go back to the galley to finish cooking breakfast. Usopp has to eat sometime.

Sanji's breakfast plans are delayed when he finds another post-it, below the first.

'Borrowed your frying pan, I hope you don't need it back.'

The cook does everything but explode, nearly shooting himself out of the galley to find Usopp, when an idea comes to him.

Usopp returns to the galley to put another note on the fridge. He's surprised to find a note that isn't his.

'You're a dead man.'

A hand suddenly on his shoulder, Usopp has just enough time to yelp before Sanji shoves him to the wall.

"What the hell were you thinking? Do you value your life at all? Do you want me to kick your ass?"

"No." Usopp starts, "It's nothing like that…" He draws arcs with his foot across the floor nervously, refusing to look at Sanji's glaring eyes.

"Then what." He's demanding an answer now, emphasizing his point by shoving the sniper into the wall one more time. Usopp winces on impact, but smiles softly.

"I just wanted to get your attention." He gives Sanji a light kiss on the cheek, one more smile, and saunters out of the galley.

Going back to his food preparation, Sanji reaches for a pot, cursing Usopp for stealing food and his pan. On instinct, his hand goes to where his pan usually sits, finding it in its normal place. He doesn't think anything of it until he looks down to grease it. A plain yellow note sits in the middle.

'Just kidding. Next time check before you get so angry!'
