A/N: No pairings, but might seem like House/Wilson for a while… :evil grin: but I don't write slash just cause... please review!
Warning: Avoid Sleep Loss while in a Hospital with House and Wilson
I need to sleep.
Lisa Cuddy groaned and rubbed her temples with her index finger and thumb, muttering a curse under her breath as she collided with a nurse's cart. "Sorry," she murmured and fairly stalked to House's office, where she stopped two inches in front of the door. An expression of sheer horror formed on her face, and she leaned forward, half in fascination, half in repulsion, and put her ear to the piece of oak that was the only thing separating her from whoever- or whatever was inside.
"No, wait! Stop!"
"What now? I've been waiting for this moment my whole life!"
Cuddy stifled a scream and swallowed. What the HELL! The voices- rather out of breath, and sounding very excited- belonged to none other than James Wilson and Gregory House. She took a deep breath. Okay, there has to be an innocent explanation for all this. They wouldn't-
"NO! STOP! You've got to pull out!"
"I can't! It's too late! And this is SO much fun, by the way."
"Oh, come on, you're KILLING me!"
"Shut up. This was your idea, after all."
"It was not!"
"Yes it was."
"Fine, whatever. Just do it already and get it over with."
Okay, that's it! Cuddy inhaled a mouthful of air and flung the door open. "What in the living hell are you guys-" Her tirade halted abruptly. Oh shit.
House and Wilson dropped their controllers simultaneously and whipped their heads around, looking incredibly sheepish (and cute, IMHO). "We're on break," House protested. "We can do whatever we want!" He gave her an odd look at the obvious embarrassment on her face and eyes so wide they looked about to pop out of her head.
"Oh. My. God." Cuddy took one look at the words 'YOU LOST' on Wilson's side of the t.v. screen, the ball of flame that used to be his car, and whirled around and ran out of the office, laughing so hard she doubled over at her car and sank to the ground, still hysterical with laughter.
Cuddy's new rule of thumb: never, under any circumstances, remain at the hospital after staying awake for more than 43 hours at a time.
