The Ever Dying Feelings
Chapter 2
Shocking Revelations
()()()()()()()()()()()()()() ( ) # $ & > > /
Harry and Draco emerged from their compartment when the train came to a stop. They had come to the agreement that they would keep their act up in public until it was confirmed that Voldemort accepted Harry into his ranks. They gave each other one last look of longing, and then they were separated.
"Harry where were you all train ride?" Ronald Weasley asked as he pulled Harry into a carriage with Hermione Granger and Neville Longbottom.
"I found and empty compartment, put some spells up and fell asleep. My stay at the Dursley's exhausted me." Harry replied as he sat down and instantly regretted it. Draco sure knows how to make sure he's never forgotten! Harry thought. But it didn't hurt; it was a more pleasurable feeling that made him realize how much Draco cared for him. He smiled at the memories of what they did together a few hours before, and forced his body not to react.
"Harry are you even listening!" Hermione said with a slight edge to her voice.
"Of course I am. I just have a lot to think about that's all." Harry said forcing a smile on his face. He really didn't feel like smiling, how could he after the summer he had? But he still hoped it looked sincere enough so she could leave him the hell alone. He had a lot to think about, like how the hell he was supposed to persuade Dumbledore to resort him. And if Dumbledore did, how the hell would his friends react? Well, they weren't all that good of friends. Sure they were there for him when he needed a shoulder to cry on, but how trustworthy were they? He knew for a fact that they saw Dumbledore as Merlin himself, and he didn't think he could be around people that were so naïve.
Dumbledore knew what he had gone through during the summers. How could he not? The old man always walked around with a twinkle in his eyes, always knowing what he shouldn't know, so why should that be any difference? It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that his relatives treated him badly, but did Dumbledore ever think to have him removed? No, of course not. He let him suffer, and Harry didn't understand why.
The carriage stopped in front of the castle, and they all made their way inside so they could be ready for when the First Years came in to be sorted. Conversation milled all around, but Harry didn't join in. He was too busy thinking over his talk with Dumbledore, and he zoned out during the Sorting, and the speech, he only came to life when something wet hit him on the cheek.
"Ron please don't talk with your mouth full!" Hermione reprimanded.
Harry removed a piece of food from his face and sent a disgusting look at Ron. "Eww. For once I agree with 'Mione." Harry said as he started to fill his plate with food. He looked over to the Slytherin table and saw Draco looking back at him. They gave each other quick smiles, and turned away so they wouldn't attract attention.
When dinner was over, they all made their way out of the Great Hall and to their Dorms. Harry barely registered Dean Thomas speaking to him, and he didn't notice a figure lurking in a small alcove near a statue. Instead he walked by the alcove unaware, until hands reached out, covered his mouth and pulled him into the darkened hiding space. Harry almost started thrashing around when he smelled the familiar scent of Vanilla and Roses.
"Draco what the hell are you trying to do, give me a heart attack?" He whispered as the hands were removed from his mouth.
"Sorry but I just had to see you before I went to bed." Draco whispered in his ear, causing Harry to shiver and move closer to the body behind him.
"I missed you too. How soon do you think your Father will respond?" Harry asked.
"It will probably take 2 days. You shouldn't speak to Dumbledore until the letter comes. But I am sending the letter off tonight." Draco assured as he kissed Harry's neck softly.
Harry closed his eyes and relaxed as he felt Draco turn him around, and their lips crashed together in a passionate lust filled kiss. Harry couldn't stop himself from moaning inside of Draco's mouth as he ran his hands in the other boy's sweater and touched his abs that were perfected from Quidditch training. They stayed that way for a while longer until Draco pulled away and smiled sexily at the other boy.
"I'll see you later, don't want us to get in trouble on the first day back." Draco replied.
"Since when has that stopped you?" Harry asked cheekily. He was smacked on his butt because of it. "I know you like it rough and all but you are crossing the line." Harry said with a laugh. Draco just shook his head and kissed Harry once more before they parted ways, and hurried to their respectable Dorm Rooms.

Lucius Malfoy looked over the letter he got from his son and as he read through it, he spit his tea out from shock. He reread the letter, making sure that the words were really there, and they were. He quickly went to the fireplace, and threw Floo Powder in it. "Riddle Manor!" He called as he stepped into the flames. He arrived in the study of Voldemort's Manor, and he walked into the meeting room, where he was sure he could find him.
Sitting on the throne was Voldemort and he appeared to be deep in thought. Before Lucius could say anything he was beckoned forward. "What is it Lucius?" Voldemort asked, his crimson eyes examining Lucius's face. Voldemort had been restored back into his body, and he was still a handsome man that stood about 6'5, with black hair. His crimson red eyes remained.
"I've just received an interesting letter from Draco. I think you should read it." Lucius said. Because Voldemort and Lucius were close as friends, he didn't have to bow or kiss Voldemort's robes. He could even get away with saying something scathing, and Voldemort wouldn't bat an eyelash. Instead he would smirk or crack a rare smile.
Voldemort took the letter, and read its contents, his eyebrow rising halfway through it. When he was finished, he too read it once more to make sure he was truly reading what he was seeing. He held the letter as his mind wondered in thought. "This could be the start of something wonderful." Voldemort said with a smile. He looked back at Lucius, and handed him the letter. "It seems, that I'll have Lily's son on my side. Like she should have been years ago. I have one upped James, that bastard. I hope he's turning in his grave!" Voldemort said as he laughed gleefully.
"So what do you want me to write to Draco?" Lucius asked as he folded the letter.
"Tell him that I will write to Harry myself. We shall be calling an emergency meeting tomorrow night." Voldemort said with a glint in his eyes, no doubt planning and plotting something truly disastrous.

The Great Hall was filled with laughter, and talking. It was 3 days into the New Year, and everyone was slowly getting readjusted to being a student. Oh how they wished it were summer again. Well…some did. It was time for the morning post and Owls flew into the Great Hall to their owners, or whoever they bared letters for. A black raven with violet eyes swooped down to where Harry was eating and dropped a letter next to his plate. Before Harry could give it a treat, it flew away and out of the Great Hall.
"Who's the letter from Harry?" Hermione asked as she buttered her toast.
"I don't know." He said, but he knew better then to open it in front of everyone.
"Well open it." Seamus Finnegan encouraged as he shoveled his breakfast into his mouth, looking like Ron's twin for a second.
"Nah, maybe later. Look guys, I'll catch you in Potions I left my Charms book in the Dorm." Harry said as he got up and left the Great Hall. He hurried to an empty classroom, secured it with spells and charms, and then he eagerly looked at the letter that the Raven had dropped off for him. His name was written elegantly across the front and he opened it and let his eyes rake over the words that were written.
Harry,
It was a shock to read young Mr. Malfoy's letter, but that does not mean that I will not accept your request. Obviously you have some reason on why you changed sides, and I must know what it is. You are full of surprises boy, and I must admit that I am intrigued. We need to have a meeting where you cannot be detected. Please inform me on when your next Hogsmeade weekend is and we shall set up plans. Send your response with my Raven, his name is Redrum, and if you concentrate on him, he shall appear. Do not worry about the letter being intercepted, Redrum is a special kind of Raven and once he is free of the wards around Hogwarts, he will teleport himself straight into my Manor. I anticipate your response,
LV
Harry smiled at the letter and quickly put charms on it so it would look like a blank piece of parchment to anyone but him. He decided to write a response to Voldemort after his classes were over. He looked at his watch and realized he only had 3 minutes to get to the dungeons. He grabbed his bag, and ran out the classroom, hoping he wouldn't be late.

"Are you serious?" Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry asked.
"Yes sir, I am very serious, I would like to be resorted." Harry answered. Harry had requested a meeting with himself, Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, and Professor Snape.
"Albus you can't let him. This is preposterous!" Minerva exclaimed as she looked over at Harry, trying to reason with him.
"As much as it pains me to admit, I agree. There is no way he belongs in Slytherin." Severus said with his usual sarcastic drawl, sneer in place, and a well-fixed glare on boy in front of him.
"Dumbledore knows that the hat wanted me in Slytherin. I just have doubts about my place in Gryffindor. I don't want to be in a house that I don't belong in. You can surely understand where I am coming from." Harry said.
"Very well. We shall resort you." Dumbledore said as he got up from behind his desk and retrieved the sorting hat. He placed it on Harry's head and it instantly came to life.
"You again! Well it seems that you have finally come to your senses. I told you that you would be great in Slytherin."
Yes I agree that I have made a mistake in the past by arguing with you. But I shall not intervene any longer, put me where you feel I belong. Harry thought.
"Very well. SLYTHERIN!" The hat called out.
Harry took off the hat and smiled at the look on his professor's faces. Severus looked like he just saw Dumbledore in a pair of pink frilly underwear, and Minerva looked like she was hit an Unforgivable.
"Your belongings will be moved into the Slytherin Dorms. The password is Pride." Dumbledore said. Harry nodded his head and took that as his dismissal. As the door closed behind him, he stepped on the stairs and they started to descend when he heard an angry shout. Curiosity got the better of him and he hurriedly got off the stairs and pressed his ear against the door.
"You don't think he knows do you Albus?" Minerva asked.
"No I do not. I hope he doesn't because if he does, we have lost him." Albus replied.
"What are you two talking about?" Severus asked.
There was silence for about 2 minutes until Albus began speaking. "Lily Potter…or Evans as she was at the time, had dated Voldemort when they were younger. And when we realized how dangerous her relationship could be, we intervened, and took her away from him. It had been a secret, and only a select few knew of their relationship. Voldemort had been angry at what we had done, and stopped at nothing to get her back. We tried to reason with her that she couldn't continue seeing him, and she wouldn't listen to us. She finally revealed that she was 2 months pregnant with his child, and lets just saw we all panicked." Albus stopped there and Harry could hear the sounds of him sitting down.
"She dated Voldemort? So you are telling me that Harry has a brother or sister?" Severus asked.
"No I'm afraid not Severus." Albus said. "When she revealed that she was pregnant, we knew that we had to do something drastic. That baby would be powerful, and we couldn't let it grow up to be the Next Dark Lord, so we erased her memory and fed her false truths, telling her that she was happily married to James Potter and that she was pregnant with his child. Because no one knew, we had told everyone that they married secretly and no one questioned it. When Harry was born, I thought I would have to place some charms on him, but I didn't have to. If you recall, Voldemort and James looked relatively alike, so Harry could have passed as a Potter. We thought that they would be safe, until Peter gave up their location."
"But if Voldemort loved Lily, why would he kill her?" Severus asked.
"He didn't want to kill her, but he thought she had betrayed him so he killed her in the end. But according to Harry, he says that when he's near a Dementor, and he sees that night, that Voldemort tells Lily to step aside, and when she refuses, he killed her." Minerva replied.
"So you sent her to her death. She didn't even have the knowledge that Harry wasn't James's son. You sent her to her death without any knowledge on why she was there, and you led Harry on all his life to believe that he was a Potter. Why Albus? Why?" Severus asked, sounding disgusted and horrified at what was being revealed to him.
"Harry would be a great aspect to our cause. We cannot let Harry know that he's Voldemort's son. If he was to retain that information, then the Light side will fail." Albus answered.
"So you did all of this to make sure that you have the winning side? How pathetic is that Albus? Out of all my years, I knew you could be manipulative, but I never knew you would stoop this low. When will you tell Harry about your deceitfulness, when he's on his deathbed? Or are you going to let Harry die not knowing he has a father that is still alive? Are you going to let Voldemort continue to live, thinking that James stole the life he should have had with Lily? To not know that he has a son?" Severus raged.
"Severus, Albus made the right choice, and he did it all for us. For the Light!" Minerva said.
"You are lower then he is Dumbledore, did you know that?" Severus spat hatefully.
Harry couldn't believe his ears. Voldemort was his Father, he had a Father. Everything he thought he knew about his life was a lie, and he felt robbed. Cheated out of a life he could have had. He glared hatefully at the door, and fled, hearing Severus getting ready to leave after a few more insults to the Headmaster and Headmistress. Harry ran all the way to the Slytherin Dorms, yelled out the password, and made his way through, ignoring the confused looks he got. He ran until he got to Draco's room and he went inside, to find Draco doing his homework.
At the sound of the door opening, Draco spun around and was shocked to see Harry standing there. "Harry?" Draco asked as she stood up. Harry closed the door and ran across the room, sobbing into Draco's chest. Draco held the boy and led them over to the bed, where he tried to soothe his Boyfriend. "Harry what's wrong what happened?" He asked.
"I overheard Dumbledore, Minerva, and Severus talking. Dumbledore told them that Voldemort is my Father." Draco was shocked at this and drew an intake of air. Harry looked up at him, his eyes spilling with tears. "He's my Father Dray. And Dumbledore was willing to keep it from me just so he could win this war." Harry said as he started to cry again. Draco felt his heart break for the boy and he held him close, and rocked him. Wanting nothing more then to break Dumbledore's wand and shoving it up his arse!
"Don't worry Harry. Everything will work itself out. Write to Voldemort and tell him all that you learned. And after that, you will get in bed and go to sleep. How did the sorting go by the way?"
Harry stopped crying and whipped his eyes. He gave a small smile at the blonde and kissed his cheek. "I'm the newest addition to Slytherin." Harry said. Draco smiled and kissed the boy as gently as possible, knowing that Harry was still upset about what he had heard tonight.
"That's good! Now get over there and write to Voldemort. I have some homework to finish up." Draco replied. Harry nodded his head and started on his letter.

Voldemort had just started his Death Eater meeting when Severus strolled in. "You're late!" Voldemort growled.
"I'm sorry My Lord, but I have some important news." Severus said.
"And what pray tell is so important?" Voldemort asked.
"Dumbledore told me that Harry is your Son." Gasps filled the air and Voldemort narrowed his eyes. Before he could say anything Redrum appeared in front of him with a letter. He took the letter, and read it. When he was finished his eyes were flashing angrily. He started to pace and then he looked up to address his followers.
"It seems that Severus is right. Which means that Dumbledore's time is quickly running out. You are all dismissed. You shall tell your kids that attend Hogwarts that Harry's my son. You shall also tell them that if they harm him or say anything that he may not like, I will kill them and you. Tell them to keep this business quiet, and if I find out that any of you have told someone, or that your kids has slipped, I will rip their hearts out and force fed it to you. Is that understood?"
There was a chorus of "Yes My Lord", and Voldemort dismissed everyone except Lucius and Severus. When they were sure that everyone was gone Voldemort sat down and looked at his two most loyal followers. "Now Severus, I want a detailed explanation of what the hell happened in that office today…and after that, we shall plan the fall of that fool Dumbledore." Voldemort said, eyes flashing a deeper crimson then normal. I'm sorry I killed you Lily. You obviously didn't deserve it, and don't worry my love, I shall take good care of our son and I'll get my revenge on the Old Man. Mark My Words.
