Kanto Part 1

In the region known as the Kanto, a boy famously known as Ash Ketchum just has his tenth birthday. As he wakes up from his bed, he looks at the clock and he smiles, saying, "It is time..."

He opens the window and says, "Watch out, World, Ash Ketchum is here to become a Pokemon Master."

After the yelling scared some Pidgey, he changes his clothes and he is wearing blue jacket with a black under cloth. He also wears some gloves and his backpack. Once he is ready, he goes downstairs and he finds his mother, Delia Ketchum. She is making breakfast for him.

"Good morning Mom." Ash says as he sits on the table. Delia smiles at him as she places his breakfast on the table.

"Remember to wash your hands before eating." Delia says. Ash does it and then he starts to eat his breakfast swiftly. Delia sighs as she sits in front of him, eating her own plate.

"So today is the day, huh? The time when you are going on a journey..." Delia says. "Time does past so fast, it feels like yesterday when you just a baby..."

"Mom, this is embarrassing, so stop it...but I want to be a Pokemon Master and I need to go on this journey." Ash smiles,but then he notices something as he asks, "But aren't you worried since I may not going to be back home for a while?"

"It is fine." Delia says with a smile. "I know your dream is very important to you, which is why I am not going to hold you back towards your dream."

"Thanks, Mom." Ash says as he finishes the breakfast. "Now I should get going for now." Then he leaves the house with Delia bidding him farewell.

Once Ash is outside, he sees the girl at the gate that goes to Route 1, so he goes to greet her. "Hey, Alice."

The girl turns around, she has white hair, but she is wearing a blue shirt and a red skirt, with blue socks and a white hat. This is Alice Urup, she is Ash's childhood friend. She is from the Kalos Region, which is also where they meet for the first time. Alice was lost in the forest while it is snowing, and Ash is attracted to her voice and that is how they meet. She also has two older sisters, both of them are having a journey on their own, leaving Alice behind as she manages to turn 10 this year.

"Ash. You are too slow, do you know it is not polite to make a girl wait for you?" Alice says with a pout.

"Sorry." Ash says. "I have to be prepared. Where is Gary?"

"I have no idea." Ash says. "But ignore him for once, please."

Alice and Ash have been play mates along with the Professor's grandson Gary Oak. And they have been having some fights as well. "Anyway. Did you get a Pokemon? Is that why you are at the gate?" Ash asks.

"Not yet. Remember that the Professor asks us to wait for him at the lab? I was worried that you might go into the grass without Pokemon."

"My bad." Ash says. "But let's go. The Professor is waiting for us."

"You bet." Alice says as they go to the lab. As they get there, they see that Gary is there and he says, "Ashy Boy and Alice, I have been fed up with your waiting."

"We are sorry about that." Alice says with an apologetic tone, but Gary is full of himself as he says, "Whatever."

Professor Oak then comes downstairs and he says, "Now that all of you are arrived, I have prepared three Pokemon for each of you."

Professor Oak shows them the table as three Pokeballs are on it. "When I was young, I was a serious Pokemon Trainer, but now in my old age, I think it is better that they go with younger trainers like you guys. Ash, why don't you choose the first one?"

"Hey, Gramps, no fair. Why is he getting the first one?" Gary whines as Professor Oak sighs. "Be patient, Gary, you can have one as well, it doesn't matter who chooses first."

Then Ash says, "I have decided. I am going for a Charmander just like my Mom did." Ash takes the Pokeball and sends the Pokemon out. "Charmander, I am going to be your new trainer. It is nice to meet you."

Charmander nods and then jumps into his arms. Oak says, "A Charmander sure suits a energetic boy like you. Now Alice, do you mind if I let Gary go first?"

"I don't mind at all." Alice says

Gary walks towards the Squirtle and he says, "I am going to choose this Pokemon. Since it is a Water Type, I can beat Ashy Boy and his fire type Charmander."

"Whatever you say, I'll show you that Type advantages aren't everything." Ash says with a normal face.

"Can you two stop fighting?" Alice sighs as she takes out the Bulbasaur. "And you'll be my partner, Bulbasaur. It is nice to meet you." Bulbasaur wraps her with the vine as they show some affection.

"It seems like you have bonded your Pokemon fast." Oak says. "Why don't you two and Gary have a Pokemon Battle?"

Gary says, "Then I am going to take Ashy boy on."

"Sorry, Alice. Gary challenged me this time..." Ash says to her.

"It's fine, just beat him for me." Alice says with a smile.

"Sure. I'll not let you down." Ash says as they go to the battlefield.

"So let's see what Charmander can do...I know, use Growl."

Charmander growls a little and it causes Squirtle to have its Attack lowered.

Gary says, "It is fine, use Tackle." Squirtle tackles the Charmander, causing it to be sent backwards.

"Use Scratch." Charmander scratches the Squirtle, causing it to be in pain.

"Tail Whip." Squirtle shakes its tail to lower the Charmander's speed.

After a series of Scratch and Tackle, in the end, Charmander is the one that defeats the Squirtle.

"WHAT? Unbelievable! I picked the wrong Pokémon!" Gary says.

"There is no such thing as the wrong Pokemon, Gary." Oak sighs. "You and Squirtle battled so well and winning isn't everything."

"Okay, I'll make my Pokémon battle to toughen it up! Ashy Boy! Alice! Gramps! Smell you later!" Gary leaves as Alice sighs, "Well, that goes well."

"I know." Ash says. "But since we are done, how about we go show our Moms about our Pokemon?"

"Sure." Alice says as they go to their respective houses. Ash goes to his house as he greets Delia.

"What a cute Charmander. I am glad that you picked it." Delia says.

"I know, since you used Charizard to win the Kanto League before retiring, I want to be like you." Ash says as he hugs the Charmander.

"I see, then you obviously pick the right choice." Ash says,

"So are you going to travel with Alice?" Delia asks.

"You bet. We promise to be together and it will not change." Ash says.

"I see, remember to treat a lady well, Ash." Delia says as Ash is blushing, then he sees Alice waiting for him at Route 1 as he rushes towards her.

Without Pokeballs, they can only battle some Pokemon in Route 1, namely the Rattata and the Pidgey. But they are quick enough to arrive at Viridian City for just an hour. "We are here. The Viridian City." Alice says.

"Yeah, since the training makes both Charmander and Bulbasaur tired, how about we go have some rest in the Pokemon Center?" Ash says.

"Good idea." Then they put their Pokemon into rest, and at the same time, they go to the Poke Mart to purchase some items. "So what should we buy?" Alice asks Ash.

"We can purchase some Poke Balls and the Potions. And that way we can capture and heal our Pokemon." Ash says as they enter the Mart door. After purchasing some items, the clerk in front of the desk says, "Excuse me, are you perhaps trainers from Pallet Town?"

"We are from Pallet Town, but we are just trainers for only a few hours, why?" Ash asks.

"You must know Professor Oak right? I have a package that is meant to give him, but for some reasons in this Poke Mart, I can't leave. May I ask you a favor to deliver it to Professor Oak?"

"Sure." Alice says as they get the package. After leaving the mart, they go back to the Pokemon Center as they want to get their Pokemon back from healing.

They quickly go back to the Pallet Town as they enter the Pokemon Lab. Professor Oak is there waiting for them in the lab as he greets them. "Why Ash and Alice, back so soon?"

"Well, we have a package that is sent to you." Ash gives him the package and he checks on it. "Oh, it seems like my order has arrived."

Just then, Gary also comes into the lab and he says, "Gramps! I was just training with my Squirtle when you called me. What did you call me for? I am busy after all."

"Oh, Gary, you come here just in time as well." He opens up the parcel and then three cell phone like things are there. "These are the Cell Phones that contains the Pokedex. You can't get detailed data on Pokémon by just seeing them. You must catch them to obtain complete data. So, these are some tools for catching wild Pokémon."

"So you are giving us these Cellphones, huh?" Gary says as he picks one and puts it into his pocket. "Thanks, Gramps."

Ash and Alice also pick one each and then Professor Oak says, "To make a complete guide on all the Pokémon in the world... That was my dream! But, I'm too old! I can't get the job done. So, I want you three to fulfill my dream for me."

Ash says, "Don't worry, Professor. We will do our best to help you out with this quest."

Alice says, "Indeed. To fill the Pokedex means that we are going to meet a lot of Pokemon, if it is possible, we might be able to see every one of them. I just can't wait."

Gary says, "If that is what you ask, then I am going to leave now, smell ya later." Then Gary leaves as the two trainers groan. Professor Oak gives them a weak laugh and he says, "Well, that is my Grandson for you, don't let him get into your nerves, he really need some discipline after all."

"We won't." Ash and Alice say in union as they bid him farewell.

Now they are in the Route 1, they see a girl waiting for them. The girl is no other than Gary's Big sister Daisy.

"Hey, Daisy, what's up?" Ash asks. "Though I am surprised that I didn't see you back at the lab."

"I was at home preparing after all." Daisy says. "Since you are going on a journey, can I borrow your cellphones for a while?"

"Sure." Alice says as they give her the phones, she types some on it and then gives them back. "There, I put the app for the Region Map in the phone, so you can use it to find your way around the region." Daisy says.

"Thank you, Daisy." Ash and Alice say in union.

"No problem. Good luck on your journey." Daisy says as the two of them go to Route 1 once again.

Here is the first chapter of the story. And this story is going to be based on the game instead of the anime. And Ash and Alice will capture all Pokemon and I hope you like it.
