RWBY REBN – The "Black" Trailer

"Your hopes have become my burden. I will find my own liberation."

A forest full of red trees is shown as we see a girl with a black vest, a white undershirt, and cat ears sitting on a rock looking longingly completely lost in thought and a man with a black jacket, red accents, and bull horns named Adam approaches her.

"Blake, it's time." Adam stated.

"Okay." Blake answered slowly turning to him.

The duo ran through the forest as they stopped at the Cliffside to find a cargo train speeding down the train tracks. Their eyes harden as they slide down the cliff and jump down to the top of the train. Running across the train they found the nearest hatch to a freight car and went down inside

Once they were inside, they were met with a group of androids called Atlesian Knights-130.

"Looks like we'll being doing this the hard way." Adam realized, noticing the androids activating.

"Don't be so dramatic." Blake quipped with a smirk on her face.

"Intruder, identify yourself." the android commanded.

Within seconds, Adam's sword was shot from his rifle sheath and collided with the android. He rushed to grab his sword in mid-air and sliced the robot in half without hesitation.

As the androids collapsed, the others activated their weapons as Blake and Adam were ready to attack.

From shadows,

We'll descend upon the world,

Take back what you stole.

Suddenly, Blake created a shadow clone from where she stood that allowed her to propel herself to the androids so she can slice them in half using her sheath as a cleaver.

Alongside Adam, the duo engaged in fighting all the androids in the surrounding area, using hit and run tactics to their advantage. It was a barrage of horizontal strikes, vertical slashes, and heavy hitting gunshots. The androids tried to fight back but were no match as they were shot by Adam's rifle and cut down by Blake's cleaver in perfect sync.

From shadows,

We'll reclaim our destiny

Set our future free.

One android tried to shoot them, but Adam used his sword to block the bullets and it faintly glowed red for each blocked bullet. In a frontal assault, Blake sprinted forward, blocking bullets as she unleashed her katana from her sheath and used them both to attack.

And we'll rise.

And we'll rise.

Her sword slashes launched an arc of energy called an "Aura Slash" at the android damaging them. More androids show up and Blake creates more clones to help augment the momentum of her attacks. Using combos of flips, spin attacks, upward strikes and downward strikes in rapid succession, Blake demolished the androids while Adam kicked an android to unlock the door to a flatcar.

The duo made it to the flatcar only to find more androids in the way.

"Let's do this." Adam said confidently.

Above the darkness and the shame.

Above the torture and the pain.

Above the ridicule and hate.

Above the binding of our fate.

Blake and Adam ran forward as Adam executed and uppercut that allowed Blake to strike the androids mid-air. Adam fought the androids that landed on the ground and Blake, noticing the androids surrounding her, transformed her weapon into a sickle.

With a ribbon attached to the end of her katana's hilt, she throws her sickle past an android and a gunshot propels it back to slice two of them at the same time. Blake swing her weapon around and then swings it around in a vortex around her, destroying all the androids in her area.

At top speed, Adam quickly and efficient went through a group of androids. Slicing them undetected like he was not even there, they all explode when Adam puts his sword in his sheath.

The two continue bashing the androids, using gunshots, various slashes, Blake's clones, and Adam blocking bullets as he gains power. Eventually they make it to the second freight car.

Blake looks around the freight car, noticing the snowflake on them. She frowns in anger as she sees the words SDC and is shown to briefly remember how those initials have harmed her kind for years before looking sadly at Adam.

Looking inside a box full of Dust, Adam is satisfied with what he sees. "Perfect, move up to the next car."

"I'll set the charges." Adam added as he closed the box.

"What about the crew members?" a concerned Blake questioned.

"What about them?" Adam responded coldly.

Before any response could be made, the duo noticed a giant spider droid coming towards them

Born with no life,

Into subjugation.

Treated like a worthless animal.

"Adam." Blake spoke in an annoyed and worried tone.

The spider droid started shooting at the pair as they both get ready to strike.

Stripped of all rights,

Just a lesser being,

Crushed by cruel, ruthless Human rule.

Conflicting thoughts cloud her mind as she charged and leaped at the spider droid only to get knocked to the ground. Adam comes to her defense, displaying great power that stunned the spider droid momentary with his slashes. Unfortunately, it was not long enough and Adam was kicked away by the droid. Rolling away from the onslaught of gunshots, he notices Blake who is about to be crushed and gets her to safety.

When it started

All we wanted was a chance to live our lives,

"We need to get out of here." Blake stated.

The spider droid charged up its laser and blasted Blake and Adam out onto another flatcar.

Now in darkness,

Taking everything we want and we will rise

We'll rise

We'll rise

The spider droid walks forward towards Blake and Adam, with its laser gun ready to fire.

"Buy me some time." Adam commanded.

"Are you sure?" Blake questioned.

"Do it!" Adam enforced not taking no for an answer.

As Adam waited, Blake went out to the droid dodging its gunfire and used her sickle to grapple on and then above spider droid. Pushed by her clones she went above the droid and made her descent vertically swinging her weapon down. Armed with her katana and sheath cleaver, Blake quickly but viciously hacked and slashed at the spider droid. The clones she summoned increasing her impetus ten-fold, moving like an untouchable ninja. She utilized her pistol to damage the droid, only to jump for the droid after Adam called her name.

Once back with Adam, the spider droid started to charge up its gun.

"Move!" Adam shouted.

When the spider droid fired its lasers, Adam absorbed its energy into his sword. Laughing, Adam's hair and red accents on his jacket glowed a bright red tapping into all the absorbed power he has collected throughout the fight. When the droid was about to attack, he unleashed all the power as we see silhouettes of Adam, the exploding spider droid, and the shattered moon in the background.

After the battle, Adam notices Blake on another flatcar. Surprised and concerned about what she is doing; he holds his hand out expecting her to come back.

"Blake?" Adam remarked in confusion.

Blake looks at Adam with a sad expression. Multiple emotions eating away at her, but in her heart she knew what she is doing is the right thing. Too bad it was also the hardest thing she had to do.

"Goodbye." Blake said.

Blake takes out her cleaver and separates the link connecting the train cars, symbolizing the end of their partnership. Once the deed was done, Blake looked out and saw Adam drift away from her. She may have been certain about breaking away from her past, but she is uncertain about what her future will entail.

A/N. Okay I am going make a huge announcement. Adam, the White Fang, and the concept of Faunus discrimination in RWBY are going to face significant changes in my rewrite. I am one of those people who are dissatisfied with how Adam was handled. He should of have more of an example of how extremism can ruin otherwise good intentions. Especially in volume 7 when the team were in Atlas and at most he was indirectly mentioned. The White Fang plotline has been dropped after volume 5 and the concept of Faunus discrimination was dropped after volume 6. I mean we only get one instance of it in the volume 7 premiere (even though it was supposed to be the volume 6 finale) and for the rest of the time in Atlas, it's either downplayed or outright ignored. You should all be satisfied with what I am going to do with these ideas in my rewrite. Be sure to leave a review and check out my other trailers. Until next time.
