"Ignoring someone's greeting is quite rude, you know.", Druella spoke with a sinister smile on her face as she stared me down. To be perfectly honest, I was scared.

No, saying I was scared was putting it too lightly. I was downright petrified, and it was taking all my willpower to keep from shaking uncontrollably. Let's review my completely fucked up situation.

I was currently surrounded by extremely powerful-looking monsters as well as Elt's now monsterized harem. Elt was out of commission, being bound and gagged by some sort of glowing rope I could not cut and was currently hanging over my left shoulder. I had a 10mm Submachine Gun in my right hand, but I highly doubted that would be enough to handle the worst part of this whole thing.

Standing just 10 meters in front of me was the third enemy to ever be designated an "extreme threat" by my [AR Scanner Implant]. The first was the Legendary Deathclaw, though that was quite a while ago and I'm not sure if that thing would still register as one. The second was another deathclaw who lived in the Divide named Rawr. Problem is, while I was able to kill both of those enemies, I had made sure they were alone when I did so, and I was able to get a surprise attack on them. I don't have that luxury this time.

This lady was very prepared for me. I gotta wonder why, though. Isn't she supposed to be making sure Lescatie is transformed into a Demon Realm? Why is she taking the time to set up this massive trap for me?

"Well, I suppose I can't blame you.", Druella said with a sigh,"Most humans tremble at my mere presence, out of both fear and lust."

"...What do you want?", I asked slowly and with a calm voice.

"What do I want, he asks. Isn't it obvious?", she says with a light chuckle."It's not everyday a mere human piques my curiosity so much, especially when said human goes from a low-value target to one of the most wanted men in the Demon Realm overnight."

"So you're here to arrest me?", I asked for clarification before adding,"Couldn't you have just sent a hunting party instead of coming after me yourself?"

"And sit at a desk waiting for news? Sorry, I'm not that kind of leader.", she responded,"Besides, I wanted to personally meet the man who singlehandedly managed to kill over 50 of my precious soldiers with no blessings from the Chief God."

"Not to mention, you still have something of ou-", Sasha began to speak before I cut her off.

"Shut it, fucko, before I rip a hole through your head this time.", I snapped back at her.

"Such anger. Such hate.", Druella said, her smile only growing wider."You would sound so much better letting out moans of pleasure, wouldn't you say?"

"I'd say, milady.", the goat girl beside her agreed.

"I would as well.", I heard Anastasia say from a building somewhere nearby. Seems she was watching from afar.

"Indeed."

"Hehehe!"

"Definitely..."

Many girls around me began to agree with Druella, and some even began to pant and touch themselves as if anticipating what would happen to me.

"No, I wouldn't say. I'm not afraid of yo-", I tried to lie, but she interrupted me before I could finish.

"Oh, but you are.", she responded, licking her lips,"Humans are very easy creatures to read, and I can very easily smell the fear radiating off of you. You're also very angry. Is it about those children you tried to run away with?" With that, I visibly flinched, causing her eyes to narrow and a giggle to escape her lips.

"It seems your guess was correct, Mari.", she turned to speak to the goat girl before looking back to me."Well, the children you saw just now were an illusion courtesy of my dear Anastasia. In reality, those criminals and children are already in the loving custody of my subordinates. Healthy and happy." She dragged on "happy" when she spoke, causing my anger to flare. My Pip-Boy also beeped, signifying the failure of the quest "You Can Run…".

"You sick fucks! Is this how you get your kicks? Molesting little kids?", I spat through my teeth, index finger inching very close to the trigger of my submachine gun. Granted, I know it won't be enough, so I started to think about other options I have since I really wanna kill this woman. Also, I should have known Anastasia was the cause of the illusions surrounding the town given that she's done it before. The clean buildings and streets, the children, all of it was her doing.

I will most likely be needing some seriously heavy ordinance if I'm going to survive an altercation with these girls. Normally, with an extreme threat that is already aware of me, my first goto would be Annabelle, a large missile launcher, or the Fat Man, a weapon that launches Mini Nukes. Problem is, I'm way too damn close and would be caught in the blast radius, and I don't have a lot of Mini Nukes. Holy Frag Grenades are out, too, as their radius is too damn large as well, so I'm more likely to kill Elt and myself along with them.

"Molest children? Oh no, we do nothing of the sort.", she said while waving her hands."It seems you have a few misconceptions about us, though I'm not surprised since Order libraries have a lot of biased information. We simply take care of them and raise them until they are of legal age to be married." That's better, but not by much. They are still essentially holding these kids captive, and they probably don't know better. Back to my murder schemes.

Okay, so heavy explosives are out, what about heavy precision and penetration like my Anti-Materiel Rifle? Normally, I'd be all for it, though I'm still concerned about what exactly her abilities are. Since I've already been spotted, she'd see the attack coming, and if she's anything like that Valkyrie, she may be able to dodge fucking bullets. With that possibility alone, single high-velocity rounds are out.

"Before we move on to business, I have a question for you, Six.", Druella asked, to which I nodded while still thinking about how best to kill her. Only real option left would be a high volume of lower-damage rounds. A machine gun of some kind, but much beefier than the 10mm Submachine Gun I'm holding. I left my Minigun back at the Sink, but I do still have the K9000 Cyberdog Gun that shoots 7 .357 Magnum Rounds per second and holds 50 rounds before reload. My companions would always complain that it was creepy, but I always found it kind of cute in a way with it's floppy metal ears and curious nose sensor.

"From what Anastasia and Sasha here have told me, you seem to be rather against the Order and their ideals.", she began before asking,"So why do you work against us? We share an enemy, so why not work together?"

"I told Anastasia, and I'll tell you as well.", I started before exclaiming,"I hate both of your nations. Your causes, your actions, neither of you are desirable factions. I don't work against either of you, I'm merely trying to get out of the crossfire and take as many innocents as I can."

"...I see, I suppose that no matter what we do, humans will always see our pleas for love as evil and barbaric.", she said with a sigh."Humans know not what is good for them. They stress themselves with the worries of the world while repaying the love and support offered from mamono with anger and hate. They will not change, so we will make them change." She closed her eyes and adopted a neutral look as she stared at me and spoke in a loud and commanding tone.

"Red Eyes Six, you are under arrest for the mass homicide of multiple Mamono under my command. Place your strange weapon and the Order Knight on the ground in front of you and put your hands behind your head.", Druella commanded.

"Go fuck yourself.", I responded, ready to drop Elt and pull out my K9000 Cyberdog Gun.

"Belligerent to the end, I see. No matter, I'll make sure that attitude of yours changes soon enough.", she said with a sigh before her red eyes flashed and she spoke very loudly again."Kneel!"

As soon as she said that, my head began to pound and I dropped Elt to bring my hands to my head. Taking a quick peek at my Pip-Boy with VATS, I was able to see that I hadn't taken any damage, but I had adopted two effects.

Demonic Presence: You have spent a large amount of time with multiple mamono or one very powerful mamono. Effect: Increased body heat and sexual urges.

Command Signal: A signal of unknown origin is attempting to manipulate your body. Filter partially effective. Effect: Headaches and Dizziness.

I see, so she tried to use some kind of magic to make me kneel. Too bad my cybernetics are able to filter out certain signal frequencies. The pain and dizziness was gone just in time to see Wilmarina, Merse and a few monsters coming up to us. I quickly began to fire the 10mm Submachine gun at them as I sweeped the gun from right to left, taking out a few guards and making Merse and Wilmarina back off. Wilmarina looked fine and had managed to grab Elt, but was angry while Merse had a noticeable hole in her stomach. Elt began to scream through his gag as he was taken by Wilmarina and I panned the gun up to Druella, still firing.

The gun clicked empty after sending a few rounds her way. She apparently saw them coming, like I thought, and tried to use some sort of magic to block them, but instead made them glance off to the side, leading to all but one of the bullets missing. The only indication that she was hurt was a new cut and blood trickling down her cheek, signifying that the bullet that hit only grazed her.

"You bastard!"

"How dare you!"

"You'll pay for that!"

Many monsters cried out in anger as Druella's face turned from one of disappointment to one of surprise as she touched her hand to her cheek and looked at the blood on her hand. Elt's harem had gone into full damage control mode as Mimil and Sasha worked to stop Merse's bleeding and watch after Elt. Wilmarina and Primera began to rush me from the front, while I could hear Ender and many more monsters rushing me from behind. Many of the monsters on the sides also began to aim their bows and staffs at me as things were building to a massive clash. Well, better not leave them disappointed.

Switching out my 10mm Submachine Gun for the K9000 Cyberdog Gun, I saw many of them flinch as the gun began to warm up, but they didn't stop their charge. We were about to clash when we were all cut off by a loud sound cutting through the air.

It was laughter. Looking over, I saw that Druella was laughing.

"Amazing! Stupendous! Absolutely fantastic!", she exclaimed as she laughed."Oh, how long it has been since someone was actually able to hurt me!" I was at a loss, and it seems I wasn't the only one as all the other monsters stared at Druella with a look of confusion.

"Milady, are you alright?", the goat girl, Mari I believe her name was, asked in genuine concern.

"Oh, yes, just fine, Mari dear.", she said as she finally calmed down."I must say, Six, I'm impressed. You've accomplished something that only the most elite of heroes have been able to do." Is this bitch serious? I almost spoke up about it, but she very quickly snapped her fingers and summoned two floating, purple runic circles that she reached into much like Sasha did, only to pull out two long, black and purple scimitars that had a very wicked designs, held in each hand.

"Not only were you able to hurt me, but you also somehow resisted my Demonic Authority, and all without the blessings of that so-called Chief God! Oh, I'm absolutely quivering with excitement!", she said as she rubbed her legs and thighs together in arousal. After a few seconds of that, she pointed one of her swords at me and spoke again."Everyone, back off. He's mine. It seems Anastasia will have to share, for you will be my greatest conquest yet, Red Eyes Six."

Very quickly, the space around me cleared leaving Druella and myself in a large circle with a few monster bodies and blood coating the makeshift arena, surrounded by monster bystanders. I looked to see Elt was now unbound and attempting to resist his harem, but they weren't letting him go. Primera and Wilmarina held him down and watched the coming fight while Mimil and Sasha continued healing Merse.

I also looked to see that Ender had backed up and was now flanked by Anastasia who floated slightly overhead with a look of concern on her face, as well as a bit of a pout.

Alright, time to think. The K9000 Cyberdog Gun might help starting out, but it's too bulky to use in close quarters with an extreme threat, even to block with. Since she'll likely close the distance fast, I need a good weapon that will work close quarters and help maintain defense since those weapons will likely do fatigue damage rather than physical damage. Thinking back, I did get that Valkyrie's sword and shield, perhaps I could use that? I haven't used them before, so it may be risky, but I prefer the extra defense the shield provides since I've got no knowledge about Druella's fighting style.

Second thing to keep in mind is what happens when I win. It's pretty damn obvious what will happen when I lose, but if I win, I'll not be much better off as I'll likely be rushed by all the other monsters once I defeat Druella. Meaning I need another way out of here. The best option that immediately comes to mind is the Big Mountain Transportalponder! since I have time. Normally, doing a blind jump with it is a bad idea since I could very easily end up very high in the sky again or inside a fucking mountain or something like that since I have no idea what the geography variations are like here. However, if I give the device time to do a planar scan, it can at least make it somewhat more viable by making my entry point a few meters off the ground based on rough estimates of elevation above sea level. Yeah, it's not perfect, but what other choice do I have?

With that, I quickly activated VATS, materialized the Big Mountain Transportalponder!, started the scan and then digitized it again. Let's do this.

"That's not going to happen.", I said as I readied my Cyberdog Gun,"I'm walking away from this somehow, and if that means you have to be in pieces, then so be it." With that, I pulled the trigger and began firing .357 Magnum Rounds rapid fire at Druella who began to rapidly swing her swords around in front of her. At first I thought she was deflecting bullets, but she was instead creating drafts of wind to redirect them. Doing that, she began to advance on me quickly, unfolding her wings and using them to gain bursts of speed and power through my onslaught.

She was getting closer and closer, and I was running close to needing to reload. She wasn't coming out unscathed, as I did see a few more rounds graze her sides and shoulder, causing her to bleed a bit more. The second I ran out of ammo, I sidestepped her now unhindered charge as I switched out the K9000 Cyberdog Gun for the Valkyrie's Sword and Shield. Very quickly, she refocused and lunged at me in a jump, trying to land an overhead slam on me. She was blocked, however, by the shield coming up just in time for me to push her off and back a few feet.

"I see...so the rumors about you killing a Valkyrie were true…", Druella said as she ran at me and we locked swords."That just makes you even better!" I slid the sword down the tip of hers and sidestepped her sword's slash, allowing me to try and shield bash her. She jumped back in the nick of time, though and slashed her swords down in an "X" shape, creating two gusts of wind to barrel towards me that hit my shield and pushed me back slightly.

Using the distance she gave me, I switched my sword for This Machine and stuck my shield into the ground to use it as a stabilizer as I pulled the trigger multiple times, letting loose a small torrent of .308 rounds from the semi-automatic rifle. She managed to deflect most of them again, resulting in a new cut on her thigh, but one did manage to pierce her right wing.

"Ack!", she grunted as her wings tensed up. Using the small pause to my advantage, I digitized This Machine and threw a Plasma Grenade at her before getting a bit more distance. Unfortunately, she managed to recover in time and dashed towards me just in time to avoid the eruption of hot plasma energy behind her that managed to kill and dissolve a few unlucky bystanders. I managed to pick up the shield in time to block another overhead slash, but couldn't switch back to my sword in time to block a horizontal slash that went passed my shield and had to be blocked by my arm.

It embedded into my arm to the bone, but didn't cause any physical damage like I thought. Instead, I began to take serious fatigue damage fast. I kicked her off of me and jumped backwards, abandoning the shield to materialize and take a couple doses of Jet. Surprisingly, I didn't get addicted.

Realizing I needed to regain control of the fight with increased aggression, I went ahead and injected myself with a dose of Psycho before pulling out my sword and diving passed an oncoming horizontal swipe. After the dive and roll, I got up and ran to the shield I abandoned, picked it up, and turned back around just in time to block another incoming swing from her swords. Pushing back on her with the shield, I tried to swipe low at her legs, but she jumped and pulled a roundhouse kick on me, which I just barely managed to dodge.

With newfound aggression, I began to go on the offensive. I swung the sword diagonally down and then back up again before attempting to go in for a stab. She managed to dodge the first swing, deflected the second one and then sidestepped the stab to try and slice through my face. I quickly ducked and brought the sword upward in another stab that she just barely managed to deflect, but it pushed her back. I ran up and did an overhead slash, but she blocked it with both swords and we locked in place again. She was straining, and it was clear she wasn't prepared for my sudden offensive.

"Kneel!", she yelled as her eyes flashed again. In an instant, I got another headache and I became very dizzy. I noticed it wasn't as bad as last time, but it was still substantial. Losing a lot of strength, she was able to kick me back and slash me diagonally with both her swords, causing me to go flying and hit the ground.

I almost lost consciousness right there, but my Jet from earlier was able to keep me awake slightly. Still, it wouldn't be enough. Seeing Druella approaching to finish the fight, I decided to take a dose of Turbo to both combat my fatigue and slow down time without using AP. Seeing her lunging, attempting to skewer me with one of her swords, I rolled out of the way and switched my shield out for A Light Shining In Darkness. I unloaded the entire magazine, to which she deflected everything but one bullet, resulting in her getting a couple new cuts and a hole through her right shoulder, causing her to flinch lightly again.

Jumping backwards before she could hit me with a counterattack, I began to slash rapidly at her again with a series of overhead slashes that she deflected and even managed to counter with a swipe to my stomach, causing me to start losing consciousness again. However, she couldn't stop me in time before I switched my handgun out for my Riot Shotgun and unloaded two 12 gauge slugs in her direction. She had backed up and tried to deflect them again, but wasn't anticipating the pellets and ended up having a few tear into her leg, arm and side.

She tried to slash in retaliation, but I had already jumped back, accidentally tripping thanks to my sluggishness and a strange feeling of nausea, forcing me to quickly recover before she came down with a stab into the ground with both swords where I was just a second ago. After stumbling back again feeling rather sick, I took a couple more doses of Jet, to which my Pip-Boy beeped.

You have become addicted to Jet!

Looking at my health, I was fine as usual with a few cuts and bruises here and there, but my effects were a little different as I was feeling extremely tired and sick.

Demonic Corruption: Prolonged exposure to Demonic Presence is attempting to mutate your body. Your [Artificial Heart] is filtering it out through violent system purging. Effect: Nausea, soreness, headaches, dizziness, severely increased body heat and sexual urges.

Demonic Silver: You have been cut by a weapon made from Demon Realm Silver and are bleeding Spirit Energy. Effect: Extreme fatigue damage over time for 10 seconds. Can stack.

Jet Addiction: You are addicted to Jet.

Shit, that's not good at all. Demonic Corruption? Does that mean she's trying to turn me into an incubus? It seems my [Artificial Heart] is at least able to recognize it as a toxin at this stage, but since it doesn't know what the Hell it is exactly. It'd rather be safe than sorry and is just violently purging it out of my system, which will not only make my stomach start aching pretty fucking badly, but will also make me sick. Fan-fucking-tastic. Just what I needed.

Looking to Druella, though, it seems she isn't doing much better. She was bleeding from multiple cuts and a few holes, she was panting and very tired as she had her swords planted in the ground still. I shakily stood and began to think of new options. I can kill her, and I would absolutely love it, but the second I do, all of the other monsters are likely going to rush me and that's curtains for Six. I need to find a way out of this mess and fast. My thoughts began to drift back to my heavy ordinance as she began to speak.

"You...what are you?", she asked in between breaths."I've cut you...multiple times with Demon Silver...and you barely have any Spirit Energy to bleed...so how are you still standing?"

"...Wouldn't you like to know?", I responded cheekily, to which she merely chuckled again.

"...You truly are a formidable adversary...a challenging catch.", she spoke again before adding."Anastasia certainly knows how to pick them." As she said that, my Pip-Boy beeped to signify that the scan had completed. Now all I needed to do was set the coordinates to someplace random in the north and it should teleport me without me ending up taking another fall from great heights.

"Too bad you won't be catching me.", I responded again while materializing my Ranger Sequoia in my hand after digitizing my shotgun and sword, sneaking my other hand into my duster to materialize a Flashbang. Hopefully this works a second time.

"Oh, I love it when they play hard to get…", she said in response while pulling her swords out of the ground again and readying herself for another lunge."Let's finish this, Six."

"Alright, open wide!", I yelled as I pulled the pin and threw the Flashbang into the air, blinding the monsters yet again. Quickly, I entered VATS and materialized the Big Mountain Transportalponder! and set the coordinates somewhere random to the north. Next, I materialized a Holy Frag Grenade in my other hand and exited VATS. I have to be quick since the Flashbang won't last long enough to get far away from the monsters.

But it will last long enough to reach Elt.

Seeing that Elt was finally able to free himself from his harem's grasp after they were blinded, I managed to tackle Elt and grapple with him until I had him in a standing headlock. When the monsters regained their sight, the first thing they saw was my right arm wrapped around Elt's neck holding the Big Mountain Transportalponder! while my other free hand held the Holy Frag Grenade.

"ELT!"

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY ELT!"

"Stop! Haven't you done enough!?"

Many cries of alarm and anger rang out as they observed the situation. Most of which came from Elt's now enraged harem, minus Merse who was now healed but unconscious. Elt began to struggle in my headlock, but was unable to overpower my [Strength 8]. In a matter of moments, we were surrounded in a circle again.

"Really, Six?", Druella asked in disappointment."Using the Knight as a hostage? I thought you were better than this…"

"Hostage? That's funny, seeing as how I'm saving him.", I responded, causing Elt to stop struggling and look at me with confusion.

"Six?", Elt asked weakly.

"Oh? Do tell.", Druella asked in a sultry voice.

"A magician never reveals his tricks, but just know that we won't be seeing each other again anytime soon.", I responded with a smug grin."But don't worry, I've got a gift for you. Something that you can remember me by." With that, I pulled the pin on the Holy Frag Grenade and dropped it at our feet.

In a mere instant, Druella must have remembered what the last thing I threw did and thought I was planning suicide. Her face immediately morphed into one of terror as she sprung into action.

"EVERYONE GET BACK!", she screamed as she and many of the monsters jumped away in terror. As they did, I pulled the trigger on the Big Mountain Transportalponder! and awaited the feeling of being teleported again.

"I won't let you escape me again!", I heard a familiar voice yell as I felt someone collide with me from behind. I was only able to get a quick glimpse to see that it was Anastasia who had wrapped her arms around me as I held onto Elt.

With that, space morphed around us just as the Holy Frag Grenade went off, taking myself, Elt, and Anastasia to the random coordinates I had picked. Immediately, space morphed back around us and we all had a short fall before hitting something soft and wet. It was then I noticed something immediately about where we had ended up.

It was cold. Very cold.
