Huh, Six was more humane than I thought. A surprise but a welcomed one at that. I really loved the depth you gave with Six. Six falling out with his love, Veronica was also interesting. Then again it was to be expected since he sided with the NCR and probably attacked the Brotherhood also. His reminiscence of her felt very natural and adequate with the scenario. With that said, I do wonder if Six had a fallout (pun intended) with all of his former companions, granted that they are still alive, or it's only with her and the rest just went their separate ways.

The confrontation with the Ice Queen was surprisingly touching and honestly it was a good call to do that too. It really showed that Six is a pragmatic person that can solve things peacefully. The ending was very sweet and worth it.

I definitely was not anticipating the death of the ice queen’s husband. Neither did I expect the move that Six made. It actually...was touching for the lack of better word.
though Im still wondering how her husband died In the first place. I suspect radiation poisoning since the symptoms seemingly somewhat align from what was written in the diary. (Though it seems extremely odd that radiation can somehow leach its way into this universe so I mostly doubt its the cause unless there some time rift kinda event that not even six himself Is aware about)

But on the other hand I Do wonder if any of the other monster nations would be mentioned (Dragonia, The six islands etc [I forgot their official names, I apologize.])

Im also wondering how six can return home without allowing the monsters to gain access to his old world and if he will leave any of his companions behind.

I Do hope six can somehow bring some common sense to the monsters by any means possible along with freeing the children

Aye, another calm before the storm chapter. I appreciate these kinds of downtimes since enables the characters to be fleshed out and develop. This is seen in the current and previous chapters. Good job for having these kinds of chapters.

In this chapter, they finally met the whitehorns, one of the more sensible or rather non-rapey mamono races. An interesting thing to note here is that Beth and Sydney disagrees with the extremist's way of doing things especially the rape. I do hope that Six's group will encounter more mamonos that have ideals that do not support or outright oppose the practices of Druella's forces. I also like to see more mamonos who have a more unique view in life just like Papi in the previous chapter. Exposing Anastasia and Elt to their kind would shake and shape their perspective of the world.

Speaking of shaking perspectives, I like how you make both Elt and Anastasia doubt their ideals in this chapter. Anastasia is beginning to worry that her love for Six is not genuine. That her definition of love is wrong and that she only acts on mere impulses of a mamono. Elt on the other hand is now beginning to see that the world is not black and white. That everything is in the grey area.

I agree on your stance with the underage characters of MGE. If a certain aspect of a source material's lore is very uncomfortable or unreasonable for the author, then go ahead and change it. That is what fanfictions are for. The only thing I expect is that you will carry through with what you said in the AN. That you are going to give a proper explanation down the line. That's all I' am asking.

As for longer update times, go ahead and do your IRL stuff first. One thing I ask though is that you give us a heads up if you are not going to update for a couple (or several) of months, or in the worst case scenario, dropping the story. Give us a warning like you did in this update so that we know the story's situation. Please don't be one of the many authors that leave their readers hanging when they decide to update their story after a very long time or outright dropping it.
