"You scared Hank more, I think. I don't recall you ever rounding on him before." Roy chuckled.

"I know. So did he, he does know the difference, sweetheart." Roy laughed this time.

"Don't know what his problem was, though. Forestry needs all six of you far more."

"Well, you educated him. The information you handed him with that stack of statistics scared him more than you did." John told her.

"It ought to, I only included the worst bits I could find. Our station echoes with empty, so if I can scare at least your old engine crew, just enough..."

"You little devil."

"Oh come on, Hank and Mike have been paired off for ages, as have Marc and Chet. They just never thought anyone under adult was paying attention is all. And mostly, everyone was so paranoid about their own pairing, they didn't. Not having anything to hide, I wasn't anywhere near as oblivious. After all, I took my cues for what was 'normal' from you two."

"And the first general four-man yelp you caused outside?" Roy asked.

"Was me mentioning that none of it was a problem in the remote stations like our's, was all." She reached between Roy's legs and cupped his balls gently. "You about done with the Q&A?"

"Man..." Johnny rolled over to his back and started laughing.

"And the second one?" Roy's expression was odd but he still asked, even though he was already reaching to fondle her, wanting to continue their more intimate activities.

"Laughing at them for being silly and telling them I was way under-impressed with their sense. So they're applying to join us."

"Yeeesh, yeah that would do it." John sniggered a little but let her guide his mouth to a hardening nipple instead of continuing the conversation.
