Dance Of Serpents Ch 5
Guest Rights and the first steps Forward.
Another day on the world of Westeros as the sun shined it's glorious rays upon the seven kingdoms.
In the bountiful lands of the reach and it's borders on the crown lands where sitting over the edge of the kingswood overlooking blackwater bay was Castle Peverall and it's occupents where rising up to start they're day.
They washed and dressed for the day ahead as all met in the grand dining hall for morning breakfast.
Harry for the first time wasn't the first to be at the table, rather both of his current guest's the Targaryan Princesses were there in order to speak to their host before the other but arrived at the same time much to their common ire towards eachother.
They awaited in silence, glaring and starring at eachother with ill-intent.
Rhearnya was redressed in her freshly cleaned red Targaryen Dress, her platinum blonde hair flowed free from any restraint as it dropped down from her head. Her lack of wearing the clothes provided to her and instead wearing her own was a proud statement that's screamed out her royal status and the family she belonged to.
Helanna however chose one of the dress she found avalible in her room.
The young princess wore a dark blue silk clothed dressed that hugged around her body like wrapped sashes that tide around her mid-riff just under her breasts as she wore the dress that hung from her shoulders in a twisted fashion that sat along her shoulders.
It did not take long for that silence to break as Harry walked right in "Good Morning princesses." He said moving to the head of the table.
"Good morning my Lord/ Good Morning Lord Peverall." Both princesses said as they stood up from their seats and bowed curtiously to him as he passed them by and took his seat the head of the table beside both of them.
"I trust you all had a wonderful night here in my castle?" He naturally had to ask to know the comforts of his guests.
"Oh most definitely." Said Princess Helanna, speaking first before her sister who threw her a piercing stare "The beds and sheets are unlike anything we ever had. Your generous hospitably is a honour we have received greatly." while it was true that the Helana and Rheanyra had slept in sheets more comfortable then the one's royally spent to have in their own palace, it was still seen as sickening flattery from both people who were used to such honeyed words being thrown at them.
Harry maintained a gentlemanly smile as he smiled at the high praise he was receiving from his world's royalty "I am honoured to have such high praise." Harry thanked her as he dipped his head to her before sitting down with them following in his act "Now how about some breakfast?" he asked as they were about to begin the day before them.
-Meanwhile in kingslanding-
In the capital of the seven kingdoms within the red keep King Viserys Targaryen sat upon his throne looking both annoyed and shocked by the recent revelation he was being told by both his Hand Lord Otto Hightower and his brother Daemon Targaryen.
"what do you mean my daughters are there!?" King Viserys asked as he had only just received the news that both of his daughters had gone to Lord Peveralls castle without notifying him or without a royal escort.
"It is as I said my King." Ser Otto Hightower once more explained the absence of his daughter to his king "both your daughters Rheanyra and Healna are staying at Lord Peverall's castle. For how long I do not know." The hand of the king had received a raven from his granddaughter of her arrival and time there along with the presence of the other daughter Rheaynra.
Naturally her presence there was for the same reason Healna was, and he did not need to read about her attempt at seduction to know that she was aiming for the same purpose as them, to get Lord Peverall on their side. The man was a new power that greatly shook the established foundations of power that was the Targaryen's who ruled for one hundread and twenty years since ageon the conqueror united the warring kingdoms of westeros under one crown.
Lord Hadrian Peverall was a man that both the blacks and the green's needed on their side if they wanted to gain a huge advantage over the other.
Next it was his brother Daemon Targaryen who added "You're grace. Look at it this way, this gives us the opportunity to wed lord Peverall to one of your daughters." If one daughter didn't claim his heart then there was a chance the other might.
A thought that both men shared as they stared at eachother from the corner of their eye's, sending silent daggers and promise of death at the another.
Something that the man sitting before them was oblivious to as he was more concerned about his children and the Union between his house and House Peverall.
"But why didn't they tell me that they were going? I could've sent an envoy to escort them or at the very least went with them to try and further persuade Lord Hadrian to see the great possibility of this union." He cried out, complaining like a child that wasn't invited as he slumped against his chair.
Daemon stepped forward, calming his brother as he spoke wisdom into him "My king. I think that may be the problem. You're attempts may have the opposite affect you're seeking." He said, getting his attention.
"What do you mean?" King Viserys asked, confused and intrigued by what his war veteran brother had to share.
"Lord Peverall is a widower your grace, like you. so you understand the loss of losing the one you love and the anger of being pressured to remarry." Daemon appealed his brother's knowledge and experience of loss. His first wife and love Aemma Arryn who gave him a beautiful and strong Daughter who could in this realms history be the first rulling queen of the seven kingdoms, it was a truly sad day when she died along with his son, Viserys was deep in mourning.
She was the one light in his life that tried to bridge the gap between him and Viserys.
Viserys sighed, seeing the logic and wisdom in what he said along with long forgotten feelings of remorse and woe as memories of his first queen and wife came to mind "I… see what you mean brother… but why didn't they let me know that they were going?"
Viserys asked out but again was oblivious to the power moves happening within his own family, dispite his command's that his eldest daughter was to rule, that didn't stop his wife and her family from moving against him and against his daughter.
"your Grace. You're daughters are grown woman, beautiful and blooming. I believe they can decide the way they live, Especially Rhearyna who doesn't allow life to decide for her but takes charge of life."
Rhearyna was the perfonification of a true Targaryen. A fire and temper to match a dragon with the will to conquer the world, many have called her the Meagor with Tits from how she commands and imposes her will like a king.
"Yeah…" Viserys sighed as even though he loved his daughter as much as all of his children… she can be a handful sometimes. Stubborn, relentless, commanding and unbending to other's. Had she been born a boy, she'd have been the perfect Targaryen Prince but since she's a girl, she now matches the description of Aegon's first wife and eldest sister Visenya who was fearsome warrior like her son Meagor the Cruel.
She turned down a hundred suiters because they did not meet her requirements.
In one way, her chasing after a man for once was relieving as he sometimes feared that she was completely into women from the amount of refusals she gave to nearly every lord and heir in the entire realm.
"They obviously went there to sway the Heart of Lord Peverall by themselves. A woman's touch is more suited to this task then that of a kings." He could understand Helana, his youngest daughter and princess was always soft hearted and innocent, chaitable and kind to a fault. She was the other light in his eye's and he couldn't help but spoil her the same as he did with all of his children, this has led to her… less then attractive figure but she was still beautiful all the same and not overly pumplish thank the gods.
He had planned on continuing their valyrian customs of marrying her to his first born son Aegon to continue the family line and preserve their blood but she had instead like her sister rode out to sway this new lord's heart.
Rheanyra on the other hand he easily suspected that this sudden and surprising act of chasing after the man was not because of a smitten heart but rather more of a polictical and power advantage. Though she was groomed to take his place were he to die, the rest was simply all her from the day she could walk, she showed great talent and mind for warfare like his great ancestor's wife Visenya who was a stern, serious and unforgiving woman with a voluptuous, sensual and passionate figure.
All in all it increased the chances of uniting their two houses together which ease the aging king's heart and mind that not only will one of his daughters, preferably Rheanyra will be married but also securing a powerful alliance and destroying threat to their rule with marriage.
Viserys once again sighed, seeing the logic in his brother's words "You're right. It's best if they do it, with any luck one of them will win his heart and unite our house's by blood." It was important to him that House Targaryen become stronger through this union between their houses, for not only the ability to speak to their dragon will afford them more control and kin ship towards their beast's but also what other great creature's Lord Peveral may have yet to reveal.
Ser Otto bowed his head to his king's wise decision "Very good your Grace. On top of that, they've sent their letters detailing their time there. Including the living portrait of the Late lady Peverall who explained to your daughter of his Lord's veternry in war." The letters that both sides received from their princess contained detailed reports about the living portrait that expressed how dangerous Lord Peverall is, not that they didn't need to be told as they saw a glismp of his power and knew for certain that there was far more he had yet to reveal.
For now, both sides will simply wait, watch and see how their princesses are fairing in the bid to win the new lord's heart and loyalty to their cause.
-Castle Peverall-
Back at Castle Peverall Harry didn't know if coming here was the worst mistake he had ever done in his life.
Before coming here, he was torn between fixing the world by going back in time to ensure that none it ever happens by stopping the birth of the megalomaniac and the rise of a conniving con artist but felt that would be too tiring to go through as he'd have to put up with the back stabbing politics of the 1920's wizarding world.
Or start a whole new life elsewhere. Far away from his world where he was well known, a place where he could start fresh without the fears and worries of someone trying to kill him at every corner because of who he was and what he meant.
But now… he was reconsidering his choices because currently he was being shadowed by two princesses who basically followed him everywhere, where ever he went.
He held down a sigh as he sat down on a couch, flanked by both sides between Rhaynera and Healna, both women pushing themselves close against him as to sandwich him while glaring at each other.
Harry was beginning to feel his patience tested as he hosted for this kingdoms princesses "Ahem!" he coughed out in his hand, causing the two the realise their position and finally scoot away to give him some breathing space.
"I… understand that your presence here is not for a simple welcoming to your land or smitten hearts. But could we please act civil as long as you stay here. I'd rather not be the object in which you both fight for." Harry pleaded for both his sanity and temperance that were stretched thin from this battle being waged between the two with him caught right in the middle.
However his desire's were met with refusal as Rheanyra held her head up high and spoke with a tone that reminded him of one Narcissa Malfoy when she addressed someone of lower standing "I'm afraid that I won't be leaving until I get some assurance that you won't side with… them!" she spat out, pointing to the foe before her.
Helena stood on the other end of harry and the pointing hand directed at her accompanied by that challenging glare that she met "Me? What about you!? The line of succession is clear, you must understand that males come before the females in inheritance." in this old patriarchal primogeniture world, the medieval laws of rights to property's, holding and titles goes to the closest male kin instead of the female. daughters, granddaughters, wives, mothers and aunts could not inherit land unless the closest male descent was dead or non-existant, and by then husbands to those women would gain said property and pass it on to their son's. But Rheanyra was one of those people who would not obey those laws, like many other women of the age she detested the ancient rights that forbid women of pretty much everything that their male counter parts of the privilege of holding, she had a fire in her that could not be extinguished when lit even as Helana made her case not to her sister but to the man she was tasked with coaxing to her family's side. "My brother may not be from the same mother as yours, but he is a first born son and therefore the rightful heir to the throne."
"The Throne is mine! The Oath's of Fealty were sworn to ME! Before he was even born." Rheanyra stated, her words coming out bold and loud as she promclaimed her denial to give up the throne by the rights of succession that demanded she step down upon her brother's birth . "I will not step aside and let another claim what has been PROMISED. To me." She firmly solidified her place, refusing to be told or forced otherwises to the wishes of others.
Harry could see that this was going no where.
Both woman though sisters were at odds with eachother over the political differences both had that splits their family apart.
Rhearyna proud of her position of becoming the first female monarch in this lands history was a no so that way she would step aside and let her brother by the old patriarchal laws and society demand it so. She was not a weak woman as he could tell, she had a fiery passion in her as seen in many great monarchs through history with the ambition to conquer all.
Helena on the other hand was the exact opposite of her half sister.
Meek and gentle, dispite coming from a royal family and being a dragon rider herself, she lack the confidence that many of her kin seem to possess, yet she when pushed or driven she was not afraid to speak her mind and show a strong resolve that she keeps hidden.
It was obvious that she was sent here by the opposing side against her sister for her brother, just as Rheanyra came here to personally conclude her own success in strengthening to her cause.
Harry was the critical factor that decided the course of this realms history… and he hated it "Ok… I see that we're not going to get anywhere with this." He sighed out as stood up from the couch and stood before the two seated women.
"Obviously I can't kick either of you out without making enemies out of the entire kingdom. And none of you will leave until either one of you has finally got me to support you in one way or another." He stated the facts that had him dead in a corner with no alterinitve but to play along, he could of course lay waste to any who dared to go against him but the whole point of settling in a new world was to begin a new life outside the worries and hated life of Harry Potter who was targeted by both friends and enemies a like.
"So… since we're all going to be like this for an unspecified amount of time, we'll have to learn to get along. Now I may not know about your culture or traditons but as your host. I am setting the ground rules here that all of us must abide by." He said, settling forth the rules and laws that everyone under his roof will have to live by so long as he hosts this kingdoms two highly valued princesses.
With his expression deadly serious as he stared at the two with a strong unflinching cold glare that sent chills up their spines, warning them that they were to listen carefully and memorise his exact rules or face the conscequences of their actions. "First off… no killing anyone. An obvious rule but one I firmly stick by as this applies to both of your familes should they attempt to murder anyone under my roof."
Rheanyra and Helana nodded, both not saying a word and understand the first laws of guest rights.
The second rule was one he had faced all to often in a previous life "Second… Bribery. I am not swayed or moved by any form of object, position or curcenacy that you try to offer. Same goes for immtimindation and extortion. Try it and you'll see another side of me you'll never forget." The boy who lived had suffered from those who wished to use him, he had experience many people trying to bribe him in form or the other, from lords who tried to buy his property to trying to entice him with their Beautiful daughters to secure an alliegence with him until finally resorting to intimidation and attempts of bullying him to giving them what they wanted.
All of which failed specatually with those very same men never living to trying it again.
The two princesses looked at eachother, a silent sign that both will immidateatly tell their family's to postpone or cancel any plans that involved anything as part of that rule.
"Third which is linked to second rule if you or your family try anything related to attempted murder or attack on me or that which is mine. Know that you and your kin will get to personaly experience what I did to those before I came here." Another law that he had face concerning the second, Harry couldn't count the number of times he hand to fend off or protecting his friends and daphnee from those seeking to harm him through them.
"Is that all?" Rheanyra asked, getting bored of the reminder of guest rights she knew growing up and attending festivities at the houses of their vassels.
Harry had nothing else to say, just pointing out the big three that he didn't want happening around him "Pretty much, the rest of the rules are self explanatory if you were to geust another's house."
"I understand my lord. Know that I will not seek to dishonour the hospitality that you have given us." Helena answered with any ever peminant smile upon her face that she has yet to switch to him.
While her sister still bore her strong stern look. "And I will respect the guest rights so long as I am respected by the laws of the host." She also agreed in her own way.
Harry's hands clasped together as he gave a pleased smile that the rules were well and established "Glad to hear that. Now since you're going to be sticking to me, I suppose I can't stop you from following me into my lab where I'm working on some dragon egg's."
"Dragons! You've got dragons!?" Both women cried out, surprised to hear this.
The thought of him possessing other dragons then the one he had, had never crossed their minds.
"Dragon Eggs. I haven't hatch them yet and their not the typical dragons that you've grown accomsted to." He corrected them, but still the shock was still there and present on their faces as they followed after him in a hurry to see these dragon eggs that he had.
-inside Harry's lab-
Helana and Rhaynrea were led to Harry's lab which was different from his private office as they both could see.
Beholding wonderous and fantinating objects that their minds could not conceive of such as glass bickers of various sizes containing odd and colour liquids with spiralling tubes connecting them together from bicker to bicker as one was alit under a single concentrated fire.
Large balls of metal upon a piller with copper rings around it's long cylinder body, Pure lightening danced between them and never straying. A collection of tomes and books sat far away from the flammable objects within a glass shield, similliar to a collection of odd ingridates such as animal parts, plants, and an odd mixture inbetween all contained within their own glass boxes along with liquids that have names placed upon them.
Needless to say both princesses… including Rhayrena were at a loss for words at the room that put the whole citadel of measter's which was renowned to possess all collective knowledge and narly all of the knowledge and artifacts of the old world. But this room made her feel like she was a mortal in the home of the gods for such odd contraptions were beyond her mortal comprehensions to their nature.
And there, standing far away with a bemused smirk at the awed expression was harry, standing near the objects of his attention. Tuck away within a glass roofed box, sitting carefully on fluffed pillow's was a collection of Eggs of various sizes with some as big as man's head or the size of a coconut, Groups of them in their own boxes.
"I'm honoured by your speechless faces at my little workshop." He said as they finally remembered why they were here and so turned their head's to see the milthful smile that spoke of amusement at their silent expressions that left them rather embarrassed by their inability to voice out their awe and bewilderment of this room that puts the entirety of the citadel in old town to shame.
"Would you like to see the eggs now?" he asked as he gestured to said worldly collection he ecumulated in desires to not see such wonderous beasts die in the war torn world of Earth.
Helana was the first to approach, practically running over and pressing her face against the glass as she beheld the odd eggs that were nothing like the one's her family possesses "These are dragon eggs?" she voiced her amazement and curiosity at seeing them, noting the various styles of shelling they had, from smooth and patterned to rough and spiked .
All the while her half-sister looked from afar before turning her attention elsewhere to a nearby table where a series of items laid, most of which were tomes with one of interest to her sitting open upon it's own stand.
Curious as she saw the images of a dragon upon it's pages, she walked over and examined the interesting and odd book where the image's of beasts were clear but the writing was different from what she knew as it was written in a language she was unfamiliar with. As is custom with all high born she was taught the ancient and long dead language of High Valyrian, the base language of the great valyrian empire and the lords from which her family claims descent from.
But the words written on the pages weren't of valyrian but it did contain trace's of the great language as it was mixture between that and another that she was not known with as it did not relate to any known language she read about.
Her intellectual mind guessed that this book was a tome or rather an enclycopedia pertaining to dragons as with the first few pages she flicked through she saw dragon after dragon, each one unique and different then the last in appearance compared to her families dragons with one looking to be made almost entirely out of sea weed.
Yet again and again she saw the words beside said pictures and portraits were written in that unknown language, she figured that it was written in some form of valyrain not recorded like the broken and degenerated form spoken in the free cities known as bastard valyrian. She deduced that this language may be some new form not quite recongised as the doom destroyed much of what was known about the valyrian empire and their secrets, this language that she thought was perhaps a second language spoken within the long deceased empire amongst a sect that pertained to the high mysteries or powers within the hierarchy of the valyrian families.
Yet the bold name's could easily be seen and said in plain english, as she progressed through the pages, becoming more and more frightened by the prospect of other unique dragons that this book spoke of, it wasn't until that she made it one page that her blood finally chilled.
There with wide eyed horror she beheld the form of pure terror and monsterous horror made her freeze with fear as she beheld the beast upon the cover.
It had the body of a dragon but not the titan wings that gave her family's treasured mounts their gift to take to the skys, instead a second pair of limbs sprouted at the front giving the beast the four standing legs that kept it from the ground. A tail that split into two but what really got her was the 7 heads, each connecting to it's own serpentine long neck that attached to it's body.
It was a unique yet fearsome monster as each of it's heads where posed to attack with large snake like maws stretched open to swallow seven horses whole, revealing the teeth and mouth where upon the Picture fire spewed out from all of them.
Rheyrna didn't need to understand the language to know that this wingless beast was also a dragon and in bold writing she read out the name of the beast that rivalled any dragon in her family.
HYDRA.
The crown princess was taught the art of war and stratigy, the history of her family's rise to power of being the ruling monarch's of seven kingdoms.
Armies can hold castle's but a dragon can destroy any army on the field as proven by her ancestor Aegon, but with an army of dragons one can conquer an entire contient as proven before with ageon and his sister wives with their three dragons in total.
If Lord peverall were to raise any more dragons in greater numbers then what her family possesses added by his ability to control them would make him the most undisputed powerful being in the whole world with power to claim anything he wanted without question and any challenger would fall to his knees before what ever creature the man would unleash.
Rhyrna could not risk being on the receiving end of these beast's, with her already determined mind now fueled with fear and paranoria at losing him to the hightowers or having him become her family's enemy in general should he plot to overthrow them in entirely.
"Reading anything interesting?" a voice breathed in her ear, immediately surprised, Rhayrnea let out an uncharastisic screech as she jumped around to see the man who caused her heart to jump with fright standing there with knowing smirk on his face while at the side her sister watched with both amusment and equal parts envy.
She managed to gain control back and re-assume her composer while hiding the loud pounding of her heart that threatened to burst from her chest "Quite." She stated as she stood in her regal stature "I found this… tome to be quite… eyecatching. Tell me, what is it and what creatures are further implemented in it?"
"Well, I assume it's quite obvious my lady. It is a tome of magical beasts or rather… an enclyopedia of ancient and powerful monster's from a time when wizards would breed and create these thing for the intentions of war." He answered, not the least bit concerned with telling the truth to the two as no one but him can understand the instructions written in ancient greek and parseltongue. "Many of the creature's I assume you've seen are naturally breed while other's like the Hyrda were created purely from magical means. The book that this originally belonged to was created by the very same man whom was responsible for creating the very basilisk's that I later learned to make my own as you've no doubt seen."
Both princesses minds rang with alarms that this very book contained the written instructions to make more and new kinds of dragons. Naturally the thoughts of greed to possess such a book to make their own army of dragons but the wisdom of fear warned and reminded them that such a goal was near impossible as to steal from the man who hosted them was a death sentence, both literally and figuratively as they would lose him to the other.
Silently the two looked to eachother, sending clear glares that proclaimed their intent loudly that they would emerge victorious in acquiring Harry to their cause.
Princess Rheayrena adopted a new approuch as she stepped forward, pressing herself against him "Amazing!" she breathed out with a look of utter awe as if she was looking at a god while staring up at harry who raised an eyebrow at her sudden change in demeanour.
Meanwhile Heleana glared spitefully at her half-sister's act. Knowing the game she was playing but she would not be beaten in the contest for the Lord's heart, breathing in deeply she prepared her own act.
"It truly is." Heleana joined in, walking up and pressing herself on the otherside of Harry with his arm suspiciously inbetween her softer mounds "could you show us more?" she asked innocently as she drew his eye to her along with the narrowed stare of her sister.
Harry gave a gentlemanly smile to the two, not wanting to show favouritism to either one of the two princesses vying for his favour "I would be happy to. But first, I do believe we should tend to egg about to hatch." The tittering sound of metal and crackling of something else was finally heard by the two women who was preoccupied by all the wondrous things that they failed to notice the noise from the beginning.
Their eye's drew to the large fireplace where sitting in a small metal container fit for it was a large golden brown egg, it's smooth surface different then that of the scalled shells of their Targaryen dragon eggs not to mention as large a man's head.
Flicking out his wand, a small but barely visible arm of wind extended from the tip of the magical still and towards the smouldering hot egg that shifted and moved with life before that translucent arm surround it and lifted it from it's metal bed.
Rheayrea and Helana watched as Harry levitated the egg away from the fireplace to a nearby desk and landed it softly upon fire red cushion that now nestled the still hot shell.
All three walked towards the egg, two pair of eye's watched with anticipation and wonder as to what was about to come out, unaware that four more guest arrived in the room.
Syrax, the miniaturised Targaryan dragon ran or rather trotted into the room. Intent on getting away from the irksome sea dragons that harassed her with humiliating games that she could not defend against. She was chased through the halls, trying to find her rider to acquire some form of protection against them, and after evading and running around the seemingly never ending maze of halls she finally manged to find her rider along with her sister's rider Helana.
However syrax skidded to a stop as she saw that her rider Rhaenyra, Helana and her kins personal interest Lord Peverall all gathered around the table looking at something despite her alarming cries and squeak when she came running in.
Behind her she could hear the slithering getting closer along the freightening laugh of the three chasing her but she was less concerned with them now that she just as focused as to what the three humans where looking at.
Her senses picked up an odd smell that was distantly familiar before her curiousity got the better of her and she went up to the table. Flapping her wings furiously and hard she struggled to lift herself off from the ground and manged to climb up on the oak polished surface, there she manurvered over many objects that sat in her path before she got to see what it was that had their attention.
Sitting before her was an egg that rattled and moved with life.
Syrax instantly knew what it was that she was smelling, the scent of a hatchling about to come into the world. Her whole world now focused on this object dispite the jeering calls of her name from the three basilisk's who entered, she approached the unusual egg that shifted before her, she studied it noting that it was different from the eggs she had seen in their nesting grounds.
The shaking got more violent along with cracks forming on the shell surface before the entire thing exploded, large bits of shell surface went flying with smoke that Helana and rhearnya had to cover their faces to avoid the debris while syrax unfortunately was hit and thrown on her back from the force.
The three basilisk's slithered up to the table to see the cause with the two princesses lowering their hands from their faces to see the newly hatched dragon.
What remained of the egg shell fell apart with the newly born dragon standing upon it's wings, bits of yoke still clung to it's slim nimble body. It looked upon it's surroundings with baby like curiousity, shaking away any bits of shell off of it's dark grey skin before it gave the cutest cry anyone had ever heard.
"oh my… it's CUTE!" Helana cried out, gushing over the slick framed dragonling whose scaleless body gave it a fragile baby look along with the soft whine's it gave out.
Rheayrna was the same however she had a bit more self control and wasn't as vocal as her half sibling but that didn't stop her from staring at the creature like it was a new born baby. She will admit that compared to when her syrax was hatchling at this dragon beat it in term of cuteness and looks as all targaryan dragons are born with rough scales and fearsome features at such a small age.
Speaking of her dragon, Syrax quickly got back up after being thrown on her back, only to be face to face with the new dragon stairing at her.
S"Momma?"S the hatchling cried out as it stared at her, sniffing her scent as syrax dispite her near equal height emanated an aged fragrance compared to anyone else.
S"I'm not your mother!"S Syrax growled out as the newly hatched dragon started to press itself against her, nuzzling her neck affectionately.
S"Momma!"S it sqeauked again as it continued to push itself deep against syrax who growled but couldn't find it in herself to harm the hatchling despite the laughter she was receving from not only the irksome serpents but even the lord himself.
"Awwww. It thinks you're her mother." Harry translated the adorable scene that had the two princesses gushing with Rharyena quickly breaking her composer and awing at her the loving sight of the cute baby dragon cuddling up to her Syrax before assuming her stern serious expression to disguise the actural woman underneath the hard exterior.
Meanwhile the trio sea dragons Lernaean who sat coiled up on Harry's shoulders, Typhon who climbed and sat on the chair and finally Landon who was on the table not far from her, laughing their guts out S"congrats! So who's the father?"S the green scaled dragon laughed at the winged dragon's situation of the dragonling inprinting on her.
S"Momma!"S the baby dragon cried out again as it got within Syrax's personal space.
S"I'm Not your MOMMA!"S syrax screamed out as she tried to put some distance between her and the hatchling that stuck close to her.
Thankfully she was saved by Harry gently picking the baby dragon up from the desk and into his arms where it nestled in his arms that cradled it's fragile body "All joking aside. Let's give this youngling some food." Newly hatched, it needed food right away.
He looked up to the two who inched over the hatchling with big yearning to touch eye's "Would one of you like to feed it? It's food in that pot there." Both princesses looked to the small cauldron filled to the brim of tiny roasted brown bits.
They both rushed over, inspecting the crushed and oddly looking food before them "what is this stuff?" Heleana asked as she hesitated to put her hand in pot though the smell wasn't bad.
"Meat, fruit and vegtables roasted and chopped small enough for the youngling to eat." A balanced assortment of food necessary for the growth and well being of the dragon.
Though hestiatent Helana and rharyena approached and smelt the strong oder of the cooked mixed batched that permiated from the small area around the pot. They dared to put their hands in and felt the rough and solid bits surround their hand's before they pulled it out with a handful of the dragon food sitting in their palms, they rushed to harry, eager to feed the dragon as they all but shoved their offered piles in the dragonling's face who sniffed their offerings. It picked the closest one there was and it was from Rheayrnas hand, it's small dragon beak dug in and picked out a piece inbetween it's mouth before eating it.
"Magnificent creatures aren't they. First time I ever saw one, I was astounded by the magnificence and splendour of such beast's born out of the wonders of magic." He mused as he continued to hold the baby dragon within his arms, helping it as it shifted to get in a better position to eat it offerings "I also bore witness to that happening on my first time as well."
After eating it's fill from both women, the young hatchling gave out an adorable yawn before settling in his arms and began to fall asleep. "What are you going to do with him?" Rhayrnea asked, curious to know his plans for such a creature that would grow to become a indomitable force upon this world.
"I'm going to care for him of course. he's going to get big, might get a bit cramped having him around but once he fully matures he'll go out and find a place for himself to call home. Just as all these other's will when they hatch, I intend on rebirthing all of these creatures back into the world, outside of the desolation of war and destruction that nearly saw an end to their species."
Harry walked over to nice little area set up for the newly hatched dragon, a separate and isolated part of the room where a nice small bed fit for a dog was position far from any fragile and dangerous equipment in the room.
There he gently put it down in the incircling soft bed where it nestled itself within the soft cushiony fabrid and rested.
Helana couldn't believe the brilliance and spectical of the enviroment around them created by the man who hosted them, If helana wasn't already enramoured by Harry's- then she is now.
Lord Hardrian was like a dashing heroic prince or even champion fighting for the betterment of others. Like a young girl Helana was smitten with such charming and powerful men with soft hearts, tales of heroic knights and kind lords and kings were fantasies she often dreamed of marrying and having children with.
In Harry she found such a man who now had her heart beating out of her chest.
"My Lord is very great. He is truly a magnificent lord and humanitan to go out of his way to save entire species of dragons and revive their race back to their numbers." She spoke with honest words for once as her hands clasped onto her chest to still her beating heart.
Something that Rheayrena notice as she saw the change in her half sister, with the blush and dazed eye's that stared dreamily at the man they fought over.
Harry look back to the two had followed him and stared at him or in Helana's case looked upon him like an idol "Thank you for those kind words my princess. But it will take some time after I find a habitable location where they will live free, away from threats that would otherwise seek to harm them." As he spoke, he walked back down from the bed the dragonling rested itself in and back towards them.
However while Helena gave her own… supportive opinion on his motivations, the eldest princess had a different… view on his goal's.
"An… acceptable goal but Idiolistic nonscene all the same." Rheanyra answered with honestly, not even afraid of losing affection or relations with the man she is living under, she knew the risk's of her blunt and less then sweetened words by the startled and surprised expression on her sister's face from the corner of her eye.
While the man who she spoke bluntly too, quirked an eyebrow at her blantent statement.
"Oh? Then tell me how would you handle these then?" Harry asked, interested in why she thought overwise, he saw as she stood up straight with a regal posture that he hasn't seen in anyone else for a long time.
Rheanrya never broke eye contact or softened her stance or face as she spoke with a straight face and strong tone full of authority and power "While I know not your magical gifts and powers my lord. And I have no doubt that you might use those ability to safe guard the dragons, but as you know dragons are massive in size with an appitite to match. If you were going to hatch them all, then you need to consider the amount of food they need daily along the stretch of land each species needs to nest as they are quite territorial." She explained the basic necessities and behaviour of the magical beasts that her family possess.
There were reasons as to why there was a dragon for every Targaryen born was not only to increase the control and influence over the kingdoms, but to also keep the near extinct population of fiery beasts under control as well.
Dragons were hard to tame by normal men and women, only those of valyrian descent have the properities to not only bond and tame dragons but also resist their fires to a certain degree that makes them closer to their mounts.
Her family had the eggs to populate a land's worth of dragons but didn't hatch them as there were few of her kin around to control and keep them tamed. Plus as she stated, Dragons have a massive appitie to match, she knows that many of the livestock that the farms from all of the 6 controlled kingdoms own goes directly to the dragon keep to keep her family's precious mounts fed and well.
The Room was silent, the countinous snapping and flickering of the fire in the fireplace sounded out with the bubbling brew of liquids shifting and boiling in their containers and the buzz of electricity was all that could be heard except for the three of them. Finally after some time a small smile graced his lips "…excellently spoken Princess Rhayrna." What he said was not expected before the two princesses, both of whom believed that Rheanyra had offended the magical lord she was trying to win but instead achieved the exact opposite "Yes I will need to calculate and dispoit the right amount of food and lands for them. I won't release them all at once, Merely start at it slow. One hatchling at a time."
Harry was sick and tired of being surrounded by sycophanty and yes men's, he had enough of that throughout his whole life leading up to here. He was honestly expecting her to say yes just like her half sister but was honestly just as surprised when she critisied his dream, in a way she was not afraid of voicing her own opinions and critisim's on the flaw plans of others.
Just like someone he knew...
"you have a good head on your shoulders Princess. Perhaps this kingdom will prosper under the rule of a queen." While one basked in the praise another was feeling the fear of being defeated.
Helena had one job. One important task whilest she tried to woo this new lord.
To not lose him to Rheanrya.
Her family was depending on her to not drive or lose him to her sister who believed that she was destined to be the rightful ruler of the seven kingdoms when the law's of her father's, fathers dicated that only male heirs may inherit above the females from a direct line.
Helena needed to quickly turn the conversation elsewhere while she still had a chance to prevent Lord Peverell from supporting her sister "My lord. might I learn a bit more about magic, I'm ingrossly facenated by it and want to learn more." She quickly shifted the conversation to the mysterious powers of magic.
A subject that both she and her sister wanted to know more about.
The latter sending a quick and knowing look to her but none the less was interested to hear what Harry had to say.
Harry was cut off by the sudden question but quickly recomposed himself as he gave his detailed explanation into the universal force he wields "Alright. First off magic isn't some supreme or grand power gifted by the gods upon chosen individuals but an energy. An energy that is created by the natural force of all things. Life, Death, Fire, water, earth, wind are but examples of the many basic states that generate their own pool of energy. The natural elements generate they own branches of magic and inturn Magic feed's and fuels these elements in a harmonious symbiotic cycle. It is a mystical force that penetrates and binds all living things and inanimate objects togethers, Few individuals possess the talent or connection to feel and harness this power to manipulate it to create spells."
Helena was in awe of his detailed lecture on the mystical force that was only pure speculation until now "Amazing!? I've heard tales that wood witches could turn men into frogs or lay a curse upon someone that disrespects them. It is true? Can you really turn a person into an animal?" She wondered, becoming inthralled just as was her sister who listened carefully about the unseen and unknowable force that she'd look into later to better understand how she or those within her court might learn these powers.
Harry couldn't but smile at her enthusiasm to learn "Of course. It's a basic skill to turn an animal into an object or a person into a beast but it is a challenge to transform oneself into a beast and back again." He explained, remembering of his younger years during the Tri-wizard tournament when the disguised Barty Crouch Jr transfigured Malfoy into a Ferret.
"And again yes, curse's do exist and can be used to harm other's with misfortune or pain." He recalled a few cruses fling between students from the less painful and embarrising pranks rivel houses would play upon another to the more serious and maiming ones cast from bitter enemies and dark followers against aurora's.
He returned back from his musing to continue his lesson "now as I was saying about magic. It utilises the natural form of elements that is common and uncommon. The four basic elements Wind, Water, Fire and Earth, and then the uncommon natural states of universal order of Life, Death, Nature, Time, Energy, Conflict, States, Mind, Dimension, Light and finally Dark. All held in perfect Balance."
"Observe." Taking out his wand he pointed it at the irritated syrax who once more tried to keep the new dragon that imprinted on her away before she realised that she was once more targeted by the man who shrunk her to this disgraceful size in the first place.
Before she could move to dodge, "Vera Verto!" a visible force of wind hit the dragon that then to the amazement of the two princesses transformed into jewel encrusted golden goblet with no hint or sign of her dragon features other then a dragon insignia etched upon the face of the cup.
But Rhayrena's moment of awe was quickly overshadowed by her major concern for her dragon's wellbeing "Syrax!?" Rhayrana rushed to the table where the ridgeback looked at the transformed dragon with confusion.
"Mama?" it said as it stared at the dragoned transformed chalice before it was picked up by the first born princess who inspected the beautiful and refined cup in her hands.
She snapped her head towards the man who yet again used his power on her dragon "What did you do!?" she demanded to know what he did to her dragon, wanting to know if his spell had harmed her in anyway.
Dreading completely if he had killed her. Killed her beloved and well trusted companion that has been with her since she first hatched it from an egg.
Harry breathed out as he reassured her that it wasn't what she feared "She's fine. I mearly transformed her into goblet, no harm has been done to her." He approached with his wand pointed the cup she held before her, with a tap the cup transformed back into the small sized dragon that looked out of it and didn't even put up a fight as her rider held her gently against her bossism. "You see. She's back to normal, not a thing missing. This is a prime example of what magic is capable of when mastered. Manipulating and turning animate object into inanimate objects or even…" He once more touched the dragon with his wand where it slowly began to grow, forcing Rheayrnea to let go and watch as her dragon began to assume it's natural might form once more "increasing the size of anything the wizard or witch deems so." He said as all of the occupents looked up and saw the might dragon standing proud in it's natural size and height.
Syrax had never been more happier to be back in her beautiful and strong state. Forced to endure the humiliation and teasing from the three wingless serpents especially the loathsome emerald scaled basilisk that was Ladon.
Her fiery eye's locked onto the three that looked up at her blankly dispite the imposing and fearsome stance she took as she spread her wings out in an aggressive triumphant display "whose tiny now snake!?" she roared out to the three who were unfazed by dragon's regained strength.
She failed to notice that one of them. Typhoon had a wand in her mouth pointing directly at Targaryen dragon.
As quick as a flash, Syrax transformed back into her miniature size… in mid air where she quickly dropped back to the ground, no longer looking down but now looking up at the three that surrounded her with frightening sadistic grins "You again our little play thing." Landon snickered at poor syrax who didn't know if this could get any worse-
"Mama!" the baby Ridge back cried out as it once again cuddled up against her.
"Gods… damnit!" Syrax cried out .
But her squeaks and calls of distress went ignored by everyone as the two princesses were ingrossed by powers of magic and wanted to know more. "what about… raising the dead?" it was common conscept that many of thought about, the power to revive the dead.
No man or woman has gone without the thought of gods or other powers answering the prays and calls of those desperate and heartbroken to revive their lost love ones.
She was no different as were her father, for when the day her mother died, she locked herself In her room praying to every known deity there was to answer her prays of bringing her mother back to her.
She stood there and watched as Lord Hadrian's face went hard, his short silence told her all that she needed to before he did "… it is possible to reanimate a corpse but bringing it back to life fully… that's a whole another matter." He breathed out in both equal parts frustration and hardship.
Helena was confused by what he meant "But I thought you could truly revive anyone with the power of magic?" she believed that with power like his that such impossible things were possible.
"oh you could but it's almost impossible to bring someone back from the dead. I have the power but I choose not to out of respect that the dead deserve their rest… and I don't want a primordial pissed at me for playing god." He whispered the last bit's to himself as he was forwarned about commiting any offense to death.
He maybe the master of an omnipotent being but there was a limit to how far he can stretch that power and he wasn't going to test it.
He quickly got back onto the subject to avoid talking to the two about it "Anyway, where was i? Ah yes, magic. It is capable of a great many things that people may call god like but there are limits to how far one can achieve with such powers. Creating life from nothing is impossible. Making an object without giving something of equal vaule also impossible. Bringing the dead back to life without paying the price is foolish to try." He finished, stating the final facts about magic and it's properties to the two.
But Rheanyra wanted to know more… "Tell me about yourself. Who are you and why did you come here?" she asked, curious as to why a man such as him came to be who his and why he came here.
Harry looked conflicted, he want to bring up the painful memories of his past but knew that he couldn't keep it a secret forever.
With a long drawn out inhale he prepared to tell his tale "Well that… is a long story. If you have the time, I will regale you with the tale of my origin's and how I came to your lands."
"I want to hear it." Rheanyra bluntly said, giving him a pointed look as she waited to hear what fantiful tale he would unveil to him.
She would expect most of it to be a lie as she had grown up in a city and castle full of liers.
"As do I!" Helana joined in, wanting to know so that she may relay it back to her mother and uncle so they can investigate this or plan something out of it to persuade lord Peverell to join them.
Harry gave a long sigh, looking tired but otherwise accepting the two's demand on his life story. "alright then. Find a seat, pop a bottle open, pour some wine and open your ears as I tell my tale." He instructed, watching as they took their seats next to the fire, a cabinate opening with a few bottles and three glasses flying slowly to the table and setting themselves up with the corks popping off and the bottles filling the glasses up before sitting down.
Harry join, taking a seat facting both towards them and the fire that burned bright.
He was silent, his eye's looking dead on into the flame as his chin rested behind his clasped hands till he found the strength to speak "I wasn't born the powerhouse being that you see before you but I was born with magic to two loving parents who were highly skilled wizard's and witch's themselves. You see from where I'm from, there are soccorer families like mine who inherit certain aspects or magic's that other's do not along with powerful artifacts and social standing that first generation wizards and witches do not." He explained the world he came from, building it and giving the two a clear insight in the life of magical britian before the story of his life.
Both were becoming enthralled in this land they've never heard of, sipping their drinks silently as they listened to him create the world they knew not of "the land from where I'm from is highly populated with magic and magical beings like dragons, Giants, elfs and other creatures that the mind could only conceive of. However not all was bright and happy in this world of mine."
"For you see, the society was divided by ignorant and arrogant prejudice. The families of witches and wizards known as Purebloods saw themselves as superior to their first generation counterparts also known as Muggleborns as they were the offspring of non-magical parents but another name for them was Mudbloods which they used as an insult. The purebloods saw the muggleborns as lesser beings compared to them, even lesser then non-magical folk which they called muggles, people that can't use magic." Rheanyra frown, immidately knowing that were these purebloods to come to their lands they would not greet her family with the same respect that everyone else does but look and sneer at them as anything other then dragon riders.
She, her sister and kin would be classed as these muggleborns lord Peverall described, though the magic passed down in their veins through generations that gave them their power proved otherwise, she knew that they would be told less by these people.
"This Rift caused tension between the many purebloods who did not agree with opinons of their kin who wanted to enslave and subjugate the muggles and muggleborns. This created a schism in which the pureblood familes were devided between two sides that acted differently depending on their alliegence." The two princesses saw the similatires between the land that he came from and their own though with the lack of slavery on their part.
Houses and kingdoms were devided not from the lands that they are apart of but from the beliefs and ruling system that each kingdom is governed by.
The North being a prime example is the only kingdom to still practice the old faith of the old gods rather then the traditional and well spread out reglion known as the faith of the seven that had conquered this land long before her family arrived and conquered all save Dorne.
Rheayrna listened closely to the story, taking sips from her glass chalice of the sweetest wine to ever assault her tongue.
"There was the Light Families or as their opposing kin dubbed them *Blood Traitors* because many married muggle or muggleborn's while the Dark Families as the light called them or as said side referred to themselves as the Truer Purebloods who practiced and flauted their use of more dangerous and profound types of magics that are frowned upon as well as using dirty tricks to get their way unlike the light families who acted with honour and chivalry." It was honestly no different from their own kingdom as the kingdoms were devided between such notions of honour and chivalry against cunning and pursuits of for self-gain rather then selfless actions.
"This went on for years till here comes the dark families's destined champion. The so-called Dark Lord, Lord Voldemort." Both princesses were confused by the name, then again in another land such names considered natural while in westerosi society these names are odd.
"Voldemort wasn't a pureblood as you might imagen but in reality a Half-blood which is the offspring of pureblood and a muggle or muggleborn. If his followers knew the truth, he wouldn't be their champion nor their imagined king who would set them upon their destiny's as the rulers of the world."
Blood purity was a strong distinct factor in their society, as was told by Harry who knew the predjuice and racism being thrown around by arrogant prats like Malfoy who once called Herminone a Mudblood. And he as more then once been seen as a stain upon wizarding society because of his birth status and not by his social status.
"Any way, he starts this war within my land. Killing muggleborn witches and wizards, leading a grand crusade of pureblood superiority as he eliminates anyone that stands in his way… this included my parents who fought against him in a faction opposing his." At this his tone took a softer tune as he looked troubled, anger, hate and sorrow all mixed together in this new expression as he stared down at his own drink with a far off look "It was unfortunate that they did not know that the leader of their Order was in fact the world's biggest con-artist who pretty much caused all of this and was responseable for the death of my parent's… and my wife and unborn child."
Helena gave out a gasp, her hands clasped before her mouth as she looked at Harry with a *I'm truly sorry for your loss* look while Rheanyra stared with a soften expression upon her hardened face as she leaned forward, her amethyst eye's staring only at him as he told his story.
"I was about a baby at the time of this raging war when the man who suppose to be a symbol of light learned of a prophecy that a child born on a certain month will defeat the dark lord. Learning that it was me, he discreetly gave this knowledge to the dark lord through his spy. It was then obvious what would happen next."
"The Darklord found my parent's who were hiding, he killed them. First my father who tried to defend us then my mother within my nursey. She wouldn't let him get to me, and so in a desperate bid she used her life to cast upon me a powerful shield that the darklord knew not of, so when he casted his unstoppable killing curse upon me… it rebounded back onto him. Destroying him completely." Harry tossed back his drink, uncermoniciously gulping down the strong thick wine that slipped down his throat before pouring himself another as the painfully memories of his childhood resurfaced with a bitter vengence. "I was hailed as a hero from that moment on and I didn't even know it. Because the very same man who let slip that information quickly took advantage and had me shipped off to my muggle relitives on my mother's side." He said with clear and unbridaled disgust in his voice and face as he remembered the sneering faces of his bitch of aunt's family and his time with them.
"You'd think that I'd be treated well after my parents and her sister were killed…? You'd be dead wrong. I was treated less then human, worse then a slave. From the very moment I could walk, I was forced to do chores and made to sleep in a small space under the stairs that came to be my room. I endured the slandering insults they threw at me about my parents whom I believed to have died in an unfortunate accident or what ever they spouted in drunk rants as I felt the sting of their lashes and hits."
This was suprising to the hear to the two princesses.
As they'd have imagined that such a man would be treated as a hero, in their culture such prestige was always welcomed and the honour of caring and cattering to such a being garnered its own prestige entirely.
Not to mention the man was family to them. Then again there are amenity between family members so they can't say that there hasn't been bad blood between siblings or cousins.
"My… aunt was jealous of my mother. The horse faced bitch was envious that her little sister was gifted with magic whilest she was not, jealous that she married my father, a lord from a distinguished family while she married simple worker. She never once treated me as her poor orphaned nephew, even her fat husband who knew of my gifts treated me like a stain upon their house. It didn't help that their insidious offspring who was as fat and as dumb as a pig used me as a punching bag when he wasn't wailing on younger children for money or sweets." Rheanyra and Helena wondered how such a cruel treatment could go unnoticed especially considering that Lord Peverell was considered a savior so there had to be people checking on him at least.
"I suffered through this cruel treatment, never experiencing any act of kindness before it came." At this moment of saddening and heartwenching truth, an honestly smile graced his lips as he remembered the first event of happiness he had in a long time. "I was eleven when my whole world changed. At the time, magic was believed to nothing but pure fantasy, an idea to muggles that power to conjuer and control the elements was pure myth but there were times through my life when the unexplainable happened. For instance during my cousin's birthday we went to a zoo which is a puplic ground where people go to see exotic animals from around the world. It was there when I first grasped my ability to talk to snakes, it was a poor little thing, forced to endure as people came and gawked at it and all it could do was sit there and take it."
"My cousin was no different, whacking the protective glass to it's cage in an attempt to move it but found little enteratainment from the torment before he and my realitives left, leaving me alone with it. I couldn't help but sympathyse with the serpent, he too was an orphan and raised in captivity. I was surprised to see him understanding me like we were truly communincating like two people, unfortunately my cousin returned and interrupted our talk as he shoved me aside to gasp at the snake that moved." Harry could remember the feeling of anger that had been buried down for such a long time explode at that moment, he glared and imagined his cousin falling into that snake pit before his fantasy came true. He laughed out right as he kept the memorable event with him all these years "It was funny what happened next. I glared at the spoiled prat unknowingly using the magic I didn't know I had to cause the glass frame he was leaning heavily on to disappear. You can imagen how quickly he fell into the enclose, falling right into the small level of water and getting soaked while my serpent friend escaped, slithering past him and out the exit that I created. I was honestly astounded just as he was before the snake stood before me and spoke, he thanked me, acturally said thanks as he spoke what was consider to my ears english with his serpent hiss."
The two couldn't help but find the humour and amusement in the karma coming back to bit the boy for his horrid act, they felt it was well deserved. Helena giggled as she imagined such a pig faced boy falling into a pit of snakes while Rheanrya chuckled at her own conjuired image of the ugliest and fatest child also falling in and squealing like a pig.
But as he told them about that event they couldn't help but catalogue that slip of information about his unique ability to speak to dragons, learning that such hisses to their ears were in fact spoken normally to his. They continued to listen again, while still keeping in mind their knowledge unveiled to them by this man's abilities.
"My cousin tried to get out the way he came only for the glass cover to reappear again, trapping him in the encloser where he wept and cried out for his mummy and daddy who returned not soon around to their honest horror of seeing their son trapped in the box that once contained the snake. I couldn't help but laugh, but in my moment of humour I forgot that I wasn't alone as my uncle turned to me with anger and suspicion. They got my cousin out but I was feeling the full wrath of his father who judged me guilty of the crime before he locked me in my room. Soon after that my life started to change."
"The letter's came, at first it was just the one that was honestly addressed to me very specificly with the name and number of the house and where I resided. When my uncle tore it up, other's came in numbers that gradually increased day by day as he destroyed them before he finally couldn't take it anymore and had us all moved to the most isolated island in the entire land where no messenger could reach us properly as storms ravaged the small coast."
"And it was on the day of my birthday that the truth came out, a Half Giant who would later become an old friend named Hagrid appeared, he explained to me who I was, unveiling the lies told by my realitives and giving me my acceptance letter to Hogwarts, a school or in your customs a citadel where young witches and wizard's like me go to learn about magic and how to use it."
His guests were intrigued by the idea.
They had their own centre of learning called the citadel were all of the kingdoms measters which are men who aid and help to manage the holdings of various lords learn their arts of medicine, economics, warfare, statecraft and alchemy. They wondered what kind of things these soccorers learned apart from their mortal kin.
"You can honestly imagen how beweildered I was to learn and see all of this. I was introduced into a world I knew only by fantasy and not reality, but soon I found out that I was something of royalty when i was introduced. People welcoming me, shaking my hand and looking at me like I was god in their presence. I was shown the world that I truly belonged to, a world where the magnificence and beauty of magic was made physical as wonderous things and creatures were there for the eye's to behold."
"I attended the grand and spectacular school that was in fact a castle in the middle of a great lake where I acturally felt at home compare to the home of my aunt and uncle. It was there that I had life threatening adventure's and met… my so called friends…" the two couldn't help but wonder about these *Friends* that he spat out with disguist and vile hatred which had them curious as to what kind of people could invoke such malicious and vile hatred more then his own non-magical relatives..
"I would face the dark lord again in my first year. The once powerful soccorer was now living off another like a lowely parasite, trying to sustain himself as he bordered on the verge of death. He was forced to drink the blood of a unicorn which is cursed and a sin-"
"Wait!? Unicron's exist!?" Helana cried out with utter joy and excitement that creatures she fantasied as a little girl were real. The fact that such creatures exist, made her heart warm at the idea of not only seeing one, but also touching it.
Harry couldn't help but chuckle at the young girl glee the princess still possessed at the well beloved magnificent creatures that all little girls dream of seeing at young ages, and still do as they mature.
The symbol of magical beauty and purity was the creature personified "Yes in fact they do. I have several currently in the pens if you want to see them later?"Helana nearly jumped from her seat to go and see them but the priority of this tale forced her back down as she held down the child like excitement and moved on to hear more of this enthralling tale "Now then where was I… ah yes, Unicrons are beautiful and pure creatures. If you kill them you are forever cursed with sin on your soul but he went further then that, he drank their blood."
It was to this that surprised both princesses as the conscept of drinking the blood of an animal much less one of devine beauty, they can only hazard a guest to what the blood can do to a man if killing it is a sin "Unicron blood grants immortality but the affects are only temporary and perminatently cursed him to die were he to stop so he was forced to continue hunting, killing and drinking their blood to order to stave off death by another day." It was an endless of cycle of murder and blood drinking that further damned the soul who continued on this path that didn't always end brightly for them.
"He was after the most highly sort out powerful object in all of history. A stone that could turn lead into Gold, and grant true immortality. He wanted it to create himself his own body and rid himself of his self imposed curse. Again I defeated him with the magic of my mother still protecting me that when I touched his loyal host, his body distintigrated but his soul was left free and escaped the confines of the castle to return again many years later." He divulged his tale of his first year and the first of many challenges he'd face throughout his life against the opposing forces stacked against him.
The crown princess Rheanyra was honestly interested in such an object that could turn such objects into gold, she naturally thought about the power one could get with such a stone that could generate it's own mass of wealth that would put her family far ahead of the Lannisters who base all of their splendorous wealth on their rich source of gold mines with the largest of the mine's being directly under their castle itself.
she ponder that if such an object could be replicated, the amount of funds they would have would put the great Iron bank of Braavos out of business as they rely heavily on trade but most importantly their loaning. No more would house Targaryen need to borrow money from the foreign loaners, they would have an infinite source to supply all of their endeavours for generations to come.
She was brought out of her musing as Harry continued in the ending of his first adventure "No one knew of my battle that day except for those who arranged it and watched. The Dark lord that everyone thought to be dead was kept a secret from the populous that wanted to forget about the man who still brought terror by the mere mention of his name."
Rheanyra couldn't help but compare such a man to her ancestor Meagor the cruel.
During and after his time men and women still talk about the Targaryen king and his tyrannical rule that nearly saw an end to the dystany that just begun, but not to say that his works weren't bad for it wasn't for him then their house may still be living in a make shift fort instead of the grand palace that is the Red Keep.
"Now onto 2nd year where my life took a drastic change. It is the year where I learned the hard truth that made me into the man you see today, and it is also the year that I found my house elf Dobby or rather… he found me." At this the two listened intensely to hear how he came to possess such a unique creature in his employ.
"A year older and I now had a room of my own, no longer sleeping under the stairs or doing the chores but that still didn't stop my realitives from giving me grief. Though they no longer could act out their fustrations on me like before now that I knew who I was and what powers I had, that didn't mean that they stopped hating me and looking at me with disgust."
Before he could continue, Dobby appeared, startling both princesses from his sudden appearance before them with a tray full of treats "Master. Here is the collection of hot tea and beverages you requested." He said as he magically put down the tray that sat between them all.
But before the house elf could disappear, Harry called to him "Ah, dobby just in time. I was about to tell them how we first met."
The mention of their first meeting had the elf looking embarrassed as he remember their first meeting and interaction they had then after "Please do not sir. It is something Dobby tries not to think about." The house elf tries not to remember the terrible things he did to his master before becoming his house elf.
Harry however dismissed the elf's shame of their terrible first meetings "perish on that. It's rather funny, please seat with us and help yourself." He gestured for the young house elf to sit and join them, the elf silently agreed, climbing onto one of the seats that wasn't occupied. There he sat adjusted himself comfortable on the large chair before a steaming cup of hot tea floated to his hands with the small plate with it along with few biscuits that levitated beside him as he joined in on the story telling.
"Now where was I, Ah yes! It coming to the start of my next year, I had yet to receive any letter's from my friends over the term so living alone by myself with no real contact outside of my room was a nightmare. Until one fateful day I met someone would go on to be a treasured member of my family."
"Your words are too kind to Dobby sir." Said the elf who squirmed at the praise he received and has continued to receive in his service to his master.
"it was day of my uncle's boss coming over, He and my aunt were preparing to dazzle his boss with a warm welcome, dressing fancy and preparing an extravagant meal… but there was one problem. Me. I had to stay out of sight and out of mind, not so much as a peep to be heard as they would act that it was just the three of them living in that house."
His shoulders sagged as he sighed out at the memory of his pompous family always locking him away whenever guests came over "So I was to stay in my room where I encountered a pecturaler creature jumping upon my bed."
"Please don't master, Dobby is really ashamed to remember that incident." Dobby pleaded but his pleas went unanswered as Harry continued.
"I found Dobby here, in my room having what would be considered the happiest moment of his life. He was eager to meet me as every other being in our world was, I greeted as I do with anyone I meet. I asked him to seat down and he bursted in tears of the humble generous offer I gave to him, he was here to warn me about the dangers I would face in school. Almost spilling out that his old master was plotting the downfall of the school before he realised his mistake and proceeded punish himself by wacking his head with my lamp." Laughter rang out in the room as the princesses let out a burst of giggles as they imagined said mortified elf wacking his head with the object.
Said elf was trying to hid his face in his hands at the mention of his first silly self punishment he commit.
After getting his own bouts of chuckles out from the hilarious memory, he continued on with the story "Anyway, my uncle hears the noise and I quickly shove Dobby into my closet to hide him, just in time as my uncle comes barging in and demanding to know what with all the noise as his boss was down stairs with them. I quickly tell a lie and he leaves with a threat, dobby comes out of the closet and tells me not to go to Hogwarts as he fears for my life. But I was determined to go as it was the only place that I truly called home and where I fit in, he begs and urges me not to, accidently giving himself away that he's been taking my letters between me and my friends. I demand he gives them back before moving to take them only for him to escape out of my room and into the kitchen down stairs where not fair away there sat my family with my uncles's boss and his wife unaware of our presence or Dobby's."
"Long story short, Dobby here makes the cake my aunt baked for the my uncle's boss to float out of the kitchen where I tried to catch it, only to end up looking like I was the cause of it's apperent floating that then dropped onto the man's head. Naturally I was blamed while the real cupret left with a smirk on his face."
"Dobby is really sorry about that Master Harry. Dobby was only trying to protect sir from the dangerous plot moving against him." The house elf apologised though the smirk on his face said otherwise, as the elf still found the moment humourous.
Harry gave a soft smile to the elf who tried to hide the sly grin on his face"Dobby, Its alright. In fact I was sort've glad you did that, Ruining my uncle's big night and costing him that big promotion that he was after was all worth it in the end." Harry may have been annoyed and angered at the time as his punishment was going to be worse then what's he's previously experienced but at the same time he felt that it was worthy it to ruin his big night and chances of promotion that he didn't deserve.
"Anyway, I got blamed and my windows and door were bared so that I couldn't leave the house and go to school. But my old Friend Ron came knocking with his older brothers Fred and George who were twins came to my rescue in their magic flying car, they rip off the bars on my windows and took me away from there and into their home where I met their entire family." He had no ill-will against the entirety of the Weasely line, just those who knowingly took part in
"From their loving father who supports them to their bitch of a mother who screams were second to that of a banshee. And of course… the bane of my existence, their little sister who would later become my stalker." Harry couldn't help but exaggerate his heavy sigh at the painful and tiresome memories that all belonged to one individual in his life that coasted him nothing but misery in his time at Hogwarts.
"Stalker?" the term was unknowned to the two women who didn't know or experience such a being in their world, in a mideval aged world such men or women were not yet classified. Obsession with another was seen from time to time but not taken as far as following their target around like a lost puppy not to mention many of the high nobility is out of arms reach thanks to their many body gaurds in their service.
Rheanyra had her fair share of admirers who sent gifts to enchant the young and beautiful princess into marriage but none took it as far as those within modern day earth. Though some did send such luxurious and expensive gifts that cost them greatly, they were naturally either rejected or warned against such over baring presents by their peers in fear of the crippling repercussions that came with spending so much for one being.
Harry drowned another as his shoulders sagged heavily from the worst memories of the gringer heaired witch that was a bane upon his life "A woman who was completely obessed with me to the point of following me everywhere I went and tried to douse my food with love potions to make me fall madly inlove with her. She had this grand delousion that we were destined to be together, no doubt spurred on by her mother that she would fulfil the role of being my wife and baring our children."
Both women couldn't help but be chilled with such a notion of a person going as far as that, the very idea that a man or a woman would be deluded into believing that they were destined to be together with them, with an unwaithering obsession that drove them to commit such unnatural acts and behaviours to have them.
They thanked the gods that they were born princesses and had the command of an entire army to keep such unwanted and undesired subjects at bay. In a way, it was sort of an eye opener as they recalled a few times where many hopeful suitors gave them a few gifts far more then what their revenue could pay for in more then a decade and continuous. But they brushed that aside from the fact that their royality and so this gifts were a means to garner favour, but now they questioned the reality of what these gifts mean from their continuous patrons.
Harry could see the affects of the description he gave them. The realisation followed quickly by the shivers of fear and horror as it was likely that the two were questioning many of the presents they have received from hopeful suitors.
Harry quickly got back onto the story to push away the startling thoughts the two were sharing "Anyway back on track, I lived with the weasley's for abit, going to the wizard city of Diagon Alley to get new books and equipment for the new year at Hogwarts where I met the new teacher for Defence against the Dark art's who acted and posed like a celebraty but in reality he was faud. Taking credit from other's who's real adventure's he stole and wipe their memories clean so that he'd be the hero, and of course. I got to meet Dobby's master who i didn't know was his master until later. He was the father of this boy that become a rival of mine throughout the school years I spent there."
"He secretly slipped a cursed book that I would battle in the end, into the Girl who adored me, couldren." He remember the event and the smug face of the pompous blond father of his young progeny in the making who shared his smug ass nature but was daddy's boy when things don't' go his way. Harry couldn't count the number of times when Draco used his classic *My father will hear about this!* line whenever he's back against a corner.
"I got all of my things and went to board the train that would take me to Hogwarts when suddenly the entrance to the station was close. I won't spoil anything for you but let's just say, it wasn't supposed to be closed at all." Harry sent a *I know you did it* look to the house elf who happily drank his hot tea and ignored the acussing stare sent to him.
"With no other choice I was forced to go with my friend's stupid plan of stealing his father's magical car and fly it to Hogwarts, needless to say, Muggles aren't used to seeing vehicles fly when their not supposed to."
"Anyway, skipping over some stuff that aren't really important. We managed to arrive at the castle but were put on notice for our stunt that would've had us expelled entirely as we risked exposing our kind to muggles. Things go well for the first few weeks until it happened." He attended classes and lessions, hung out with his friends as usual through his time at Hogwarts when he experienced the fateful hissing whispers one late afternoon in the middle of helping the so called dark arts teacher with his fan mail.
"I was wandering the halls when I hear it. Voices that did not belong echoed within the walls as something large moved within repeating the words "Kill! Kill! Kill!" before I found the old keeper's cat petrified and hanging from an unlit torched infornt of blood written on the walls stating "The chamber of secrets has been opened. Enemies of the Heir beware." He quoted out the blood written words that was painted on the walls that day. "The entire school walked in on the scene just as we arrived and saw the cat and the blood. Fear grasped them all including the teacher's and older students who knew what those words meant."
"It wasn't until later that we learned what those words meant. One of the original founders of the school and my ancestor disapproved of muggleborns being taught magic as he believe that right should belong to witches and wizards from magical family's in other words Pure bloods. But his fellow's disaggred, so he created a hidden chamber where not only he house his collective knowledge and artifacts but also plot his machinations of riding the school of those he deemed unworthy. It was in this chamber that he created and housed the beast that would bring about his dream when a worthy successor would complete it."
"The attacks went on, though no one died the fear was enough to have everyone thinking about shutting the school down. Everyone was paranoid, wondering who Salazar Slytherin's heir was. And it wasn't until DADA that i once again became the scapegoat, my rival Malfoy summoned a snake in the middle of our duel. And I unknowningly spoke the language that you are all aware of." Rheanyra and helena leaned in ever so closely that they were practically on the edge of their seats to hear what this unknown language that their host's uses.
"Parseltongue. Is the name of the magical language that only those of a specific bloodline possesses that allows them to not only communicate with serpents but also any reptile based creature there is." Both princesses catalouaged that piece of information away for later, to send back to their families to study and investigate this newly revealed language.
"No one but I and that snake knew what I was saying as the snake moved to attack a student, I was commanding it not to but… no one saw it as that." Which wasn''t suprising given that parsoul tongue user's have gotten a bad rep from previous notable user's actions in the past that has anyone who uses it painted as a pariah.
He could remember the way everyone looked at him and shispered behind heis back, his own house treated him as the next Salazar Slytherin "I was avoided like the plague after that. For you see, the very man who created the chamber was in fact a parseltongue himself and quite infamous for it. The very banner of his house is that of a snake." It was almost poetic to the crown princess Rheanyra, her family famous for their dragons had the banner's of a three headed dragon in symbolism of the three dragons and their riders that conquered the realm. so it was sort've natural for a man that Lord Peverell described who was proud of his heritage and Parseltongue ability to speak or rather command serpents to raise a banner of that which he is closely affiliated with.
Banners were used to display the power and noble heritage of a family. The common symbols were animals which spoke of the house's personality and their disposition within the land. Like the lannister's who bare a golden lion, a strong and powerful statement that declares them golden kings of the rock which may have been a fact 110 years ago, or the Arryn's who took the falcon as their sidgel as the great kings of the sky with their arrogance and high sense of self honour that they love to boast about.
Each of the great houses of the realm took an animal native to their land except for a few who decorated their banners with objects or structures depicting their own house like the rich House Frey's castle bridge the Twins, or the Strong House of Tarly with their Huntsmen.
"Things were almost back to normal till I learned that the chamber was opened before, 50 years ago to be precise. My only clue to the incident was an old journey that was a property of a student who was there at the time of the last attack that took the life a student. The journal unveil the memories, took me there where I watched the events unfold like an unseen spirit, I watched as an innocent man at the time was accused of a crime he never commited." It was… heartbreaking to see his oldest friend and perhaps the most friendliest and caring man in the world acused and tried without a proper trial.
"But it gave me a clue that I should talk to the one being who was treated as the beast that commited the murder, an Acromantia. Aragog. King of the spider's. I along with another journeyed deep into the forbidden forest that surrounds the school where we met with the giant arachnid that was as large as a elephant amongst his children. He unveiled the truth that it was not him that commited the act that day but a monster that even his kind fears above all." If small spiders weren't creepy enough then the mere image of one as big as their dragons certainly instilled the fear of encountering such a frightening creature.
"But unfortuantly he would not let us leave the same way as we entered so we had to fight our way out. Back at the castle just as I about to play in a quiditch match, which is a magical sport where wizards and witches battle in two teams scoring goals in the air with brooms. I was about start with my team when I was stopped by my teacher canceled the game and took us back into the castle where we found one of my friends in the hosptical wing. Petrified, as cold and as stiff as stone."
"She figured out how this unseen monster moves about, through the pipes running under the school. But I figured out where it came from, by the ghost of the student it killed all those years ago. Within the bathroom that the ghost haunts I found the entrance, the emblem of house slytherin embed into one of the taps. I spoke the command in Parseltongue and the secret entrance opened. I along with another and so called teacher and expert went in, I can't tell you how far we went down as we travelled through the pipes but only that it was deep within the foundations under the entire castle."
"We landed within a grave pit full of chicken bones, the favourate food of the beast. We journeid deeper into the underground tunnel where we came upon it's large shedded skin, upon the sight of the large and imposing excess skin the man who was our teacher fainted but this was a ruse to get our guards down as he quickly stole the broken wand from my friend's hands where he proceeded to obliviate. That the magical spell to wipe away memories, anyway Obliviate our minds completely. However he seemed to forget or like all of his fake work didn't understand the concept of broken wands so the moment he tried to cast the spell on us, it back fired on him."
"He was sent flying into the rocky roof, causing it to collapse with him traped on one side with my friend and me on the other, sperating us completely. I went on, coming shortly upon the sealed door where I once again had to speak in Parseltongue to open it."
"And it was there… that I walked into the infamous chamber of secrets."
"one cannot describe the wonder and mysterious large chamber that was created by a man renowned for his cunning and ingenuity. Other then it was dark, mysterious and dank as water flooded the floor."
"Ahead of me at the end of the chamber I saw her. My friend's sister laying on the ground unconscious, throwing caution to the wind I ran to her side, dropping my wand as I inspected her. From out of the shadow's he came, Tom riddle, a day not aged from the memory I saw in the book that sat in her hands."
"I did not know who he would be until later when I pleaded with him to help me get her out, only for him to take my wand and introduce himself as the one man who go on to do terrible things later in his years. He wrote his full name in the air using my wand and then arranged to spell out the name that would go on to cause fear."
"I am Lord Voldemort." He spoke the words that was burned in the air that day, forever immortising the man who would be his nemesis for all time. "The person standing before me was the memory of the man in his teens who killed my parents. A part, a piece that was split long ago and preserved within the diary that the girl used. From there he manipulated her, growing stronger as he fed upon her emotions and magic like the parasite that he was. He took control of her, using her to commit the acts of unleashing the beast and writing the blood on the walls, finally as we stood there now he explained that as she grows weaker he becomes stronger till her lifeforce was extinguished and he was reborn again."
"I was defenceless, for a wizard without his wand was as threatening as lord without his army and a knight without his weapon. He didn't want to kill me with a simple spell, he felt that I should die within the place of our noble ancestor, killed by the beast I sort to destroy and cementing his victory of his rebirth." It was… sort've honourable in one way, Voldemort may have been an insidious bastard but the man was proud of his wizarding heritage and link to a proud and powerful house, as such he developed what form of intergrity he took with the title he wore as a Lord.
Reminecesing about their past encounters, the dark lord has never once stooped low to using dirty and unhanded tricks when fighting against him, whenever they fought the dark wizard has always been up front and never ordered for anyone to kill him. Because it demeaned him as
"He turned to the large statued head before us of the man whose chamber we stood in, and through our shared magical language he summonded it. The mouth of the large head opened and from within it slithered out."
The two half sisters wondered what kind of monster it was that emerged from this hidden chamber, anxious to know what sort of creature it was that could cause such harm and fear through the ages…and they got their answer.
"The basilisk. King of all serpents much like my own you see but a male, standard and not unique. I ran, Tom Riddle took command of the beast, my ability to speak to it would not help me. I tripped, on a loose slab, the monster standing directly behind me and ready to strike when a cry went out." Helena's breath hitched as she listened to the tale of this fantasied adventure that was more exciting and enthralling then what books and tales she read in her youth.
"from the entrance, the beautiful and majestic Pheonix Fawks arrived, dropping the sorting hat before me as it attacked the basilisk's eye's. Blinding it and destroying it's major threat against me because Basilisk's can kill or freeze a being like a statue just by looking into their eye's."
Rheanyra along with her sister when ridged as they heard that his sea dragons could kill with their eye's, they unconsciously glanced to the nearest of Harry's Basilisks. The dark as night Typoon was already slithering to them when Harry was telling his tell, it climbed onto the arm rest and from there coiled on his lap as it sensed the distress it's master was feeling.
It looked to the two as Harry had just finished explaining the main ability of the basilisk, Typhoon looked to the two women within her master's castle, seeing the paralysing fear etched on their faces as they learned about her species.
She couldn't help but be like her sister Landon and use this opportunity to get in a laugh, with her head resting upon her coiled body as she looked at the two with suspending tension in the air, she thrusted her head forward at them with a silent roar that soon turned into chortled hisses as she laughed at the way they flinched and threw themselves back against the chairs in fear.
A hand rested upon her head before her smooth scalled scalp was assaulted by the soothing and pleasant scratches of Harrys hand who shared in her amusement at the scene "Relax, they have theirs shielded so no dying." Her reassured his guests that they need not fear being killed so aburtly In their stay here. "However that didn't mean it was no longer a threat, it could still hear and it's hearing was amazing, it chased me around the chamber. A few time's it almost had me but I used it's blindness against it to escape when it had me cornered and a few inches away by throwing a stone down the pipe."
"It was gone by the time I came out, and by then I was once again by Ginny's side where the living memory boasted about his imminant rebirth as he was starting to sap the last of her lifeforce. In that moment the Basilisk re-emerged, springing from the great pool of water at it's full height."
"I felt the call of magic and looked to see the weapon that would help me against this creature." His eyes looked up to the weapon that hung on the mantel over the fire place "That sword there on the Mantel. The sword of Gryffindor." He pointed.
Both women looked to the weapon and were immediately enraptured by the beauty of the sword that was unlike anything they have seen.
Pure glistening flawless white steel that was embedded with red rubies on it's cross guard hilt with one large red ruby stone embedded on the circular pummel of the hilt.
The princesses had seen many amazing weapons such as their family's two valyrian steel swords Blackfyre and Darksister but this weapon was enchanting compared to them that it had them standing up from their seats and approaching it to get a better look.
"Its… beautiful." Helena breathed out as she marvelled at the echanted blade before her.
Her sister meanwhile, while engrossed by the allure of the fine craftmenship and design of the weapon was more curious about the metrial used to create it. "This sword… it isn't made from Valyrian steel. Whats it made of?" she had seen all sorts of known metals forged into weapons to know that none not including Valyrian steel which when compared was close to meeting this blade's natural make.
Harry gathered that this valyrian steel was this world's version of enchanted unbreakable metal, he watched as the crown princess danced and traced her fingers along the straight flat surface of the blade. "Goblin steel. I gather that this valyrian steel acts the same way as the enchanted metal in that sword. Careful though, it contains the poison of the basilisk it slew. The sword is special, it take on that which makes it stronger, in otherwords anything that it comes into contact like poisons or spells it absorbs to make itself more powerful." Rheanyra took heed to his warning and only kept her touches to the safer parts of the sword.
After a while of studing and marvelling at the sword, the two returned back to their seats to resume listening to the tale of his life.
"Now back onto the story. From the hat the sword of Gryffindor appeared, seizing upon the opportunity and only source of protection I could get. I wielded it against the wizard killing beast, climbing to the top of the large statue head to gain better ground." The shadows around them merged and stretched as they took shapeful siluettes of a young boy standing atop a large head and in his hands held towards the stretched out body of the monster was the sword. The two princesses directed their full attention to this conjured show of shadows as Harry narrorated his battle "So there I was, standing face to face with the blind yet still deadly monster of the chamber, it struck hard and fast like a cobra. Deadly poison dripping from it's razor sharp fangs that were as big as daggers, I swung my sword wildly to keep it a bay. One wrong move, one slight misstep and it was over, I kept it a bay until it knocked me back with my sword knocked out of my hand."
They watched as the battle for survival in ensured as the shadows enacted the battle completely to where he was thrown back from his standing "unarmed I saw my only weapon sitting atop the crown of the statue and sliding down, I rushed forward as quickly as I could as the Basilisk moved to attack, I dived grabbing my sword before it fell and thrusted it up into roof of it's mouth where it penetrated deep and out the top of it's head, but it's fang caught into my arm." The princesses gasped as they watched shadow harry thrust his sword deep into the roof of the basilisk's mouth with the end sticking out from the top of it's skull. "It let out a dying screech as it fell at the feet of young lord Voldemort with it's fang caught deep into my arm, the poison already working it's way through my body and I could feel myself slowly dying as I limped towards Ginny."
The two breathlessly watched as his shadow approached the two others, it limped woundedly to the sillohette of the girl while the other stood triumphant before them both "There was no postion or spell to cure me of the fast acting venom, and Tom knew this as I knelt down the girl he whose last essence he was beginning to drain but I knew that the conduit of his power was the dairy but I didn't know how to stop him only that I wanted him to shut up. With the fang I pulled out of my arm I stabbed it into the diary, his soul torn apart as I stabbed with the fang that took him parts of him till I delievered the final blow to the cover and he was destroyed." The larger shadow of his adversary exploded in silent deathly wail leaving only the two left.
"With the book destroyed Ginny recovered, awaking to find me on my last legs after going my way to save her, I feel my life slipping away till a miracle happened or what could be considered a miracle was Fawks. The phoenix returned and cried it's tears which are legendary for their feat of healing even the most grevious of wounds that would be nigh unhealable, but they saved me that day and the majestic magical bird flew us all out." The shadow play ended and the two returned their gazes back to the man who sat before them.
All sense or hint of any happiness, joy, satisfaction of his victory and rescue was gone and replaced with deathly serious face of hate and anger never before seen by the two who felt fear as they saw it.
Harry recounted the painful moment that still invokes such hatred and unbridgled rage he has not experienced ever In his life "Now here comes the part of the story where that trusting young boy dies and the man you see before you rose in his place. I was recovering in the infamery, my wounds needing more attention then the other's, it was then that the man I once looked up to walked in. I was awake but being both so tired I could open my eye's and the number of tonics running through me that I couldn't move, like all the other petrified victims around me he believed me incapable of hearing as he monolodged about his ingenous plan of having me risk life and limb to get him back into his position as headmaster."
Harry could still hear the crackling laughter of the old goat, gleefully laughing like a madman that his ingenious and well caluated plan was working.
"Feeling confident that no one would hear he couldn't help but gloat in his moment of glory, unveiling all of his lies, all of his plots that started way back before I and my parents were born. It was heart shattering to hear that the man who was a symbol of light, justice and good, and the man I saw as a grandfather figure led everyone on with his paragon con man act that had him painted a Fucking Hero. He spoke of how he heard the prophecy of a child born that would defeat Voldemort, he used it and when he learned that it was me, he planned to act on it. As my parents went into hiding through his spy that was also a double agent which is a spy that works for both sides but his honestly align with one, he secretly gave the information of the prophecy and the location of my parents and I to the dark lord."
Every word that was hear, ever lie unveiled only fueled the already burning malice and desire for revenge against the man who took everything from him. He spoke of how he manipulated everything to his design, of how he calculated the cowardice of the man who was intrusted with the secret location of his parents.
"Who wasted no time in finding the keeper who knew of our location and gave us up without a fight before storming our secret house, my father fought to protect us but he was no match for the darklord. My mother locked us my room and shielded me despite the dark lord's demands that she step aside, but she wouldn't, she died protecting but not before casting a spell that he wouldn't know. An old and forgotten magic that would protect me against him, no orphaned and hero the old bastard wasted no time in declaring me a savour and him as my legel guardian, as the only other person who had those rights was innocently locked away for a crime he didn't commit, giving control of my well being and my family's fortune over to that conviving goat."
"He purposely sent me off to my abusive muggle realitives so that I would be conditioned to being easily manipulated by him and his cronies with many being my friends who were acturally his spies that report my every move to him. To add it further he went on to speaking his entire plan that he had orchestrated for my entire life, from battling the dark lord who couldn't be killed because of his Horcux's then being marytered but not before I give them an heir through that stalker of mine Ginny that would bare my child that they would use to access every vault and property that I never knew I had in my name."
"You can imagen how broken I was to hear all of this. I was child of 12, and everything I thought I knew, everyone I once trusted was all a lie… all part of that old and please excuse me for the language. That old Cunt's theatre of manipulations and scheme's that would've continued to have me be some dependant ill-equip child jumping into suicidal situations that other's wouldn't dare risk their lives on."
"By the end, I had nothing. No tears to shed, no woes to give, all I had… was Anger. A burning hatred and need for vengeance but I couldn't be that ignorant child jumping into danger when he knew nothing about it. In that moment as he came to the finale of his gloat, I vowed to take back my Life. To carve out my destiny and not live by command of other's ever again."
"so from that day I Hadrian Peverell carved out my own fate." As he finished his tale there was no word… no sound that could be heard other then the crackling of the burning fire.
There was a mixture of emotions in that room.
From the loyal house elf who knew his master's greif he could only share in his woe and hatred for the people who caused his lord so much pain and anguish.
Helana had no words to describe the heartfelt sorrow and sympathy she felt for the man who lost so much. She couldn't help but let loose tears as she heard the tragic yet deeply enthralling story of adventure and loss that was Harry Peservell.
Her sister Rheanyra on the otherhand wasn't so easily trusting of the story.
Don't get her wrong it was truly and epic tale, realistic and full of detail that it couldn't be anything but a story but… she wasn't so naïve to trust this fantitful tale… so mater how realistic and deeply emotional it was.
In the end she couldn't call him a liar nor could she question the credibility of the story. So she opted to keep her opinion to her self till she heard all of it.
Just as she was about to ask for more till he got to how he got here, another pop sounded out and this time another elf appeared, only this time it was the ugly wizen one instead. "Master, dinner is prepared." Kreacher sounded out as he bowed to harry but ignored the guests he saw as lowly people compared to his high lord and master.
"Thank you kreacher. Well the rest of the story will have to wait until tomarrow." He said to the elf who quickly disappeared to serve out the food. As harry moved to leave a cry called out to him, causing him to stop just as he was getting up from his seat.
"Wait, what about the people who were petrified? What about Dobby, how did he come into your service?" Helana asked as didn't want to story to end so aburtly and before he got he got to how he freed the cute and adorable creature sitting with them.
Harry sighed but abliged to her request "Alright, I'll quickly tell you the ending of what happens the to the end of my school year. The people who were petrified were cured by Mandrake roots which were thankfully apart of that year so the school was able to brew some antidotes to their states. I acted like that dependant kid up to the moment where I learn and met the man who was dobby's master. Lucius Malfoy, the man who put the book into Ginny's cauldron and set this chain of events that would've had the school closed, I gave him the book back, confronting him on it where he called me out and gave the book to dobby who was there at the time, he didn't realise what I did as I told dobby to open it and see what awaited him."
"A sock." Dobby answered.
"A sock?/ A sock!?" both cried out in confusion as to why such an article of clothing was so important to this consion of the story.
"A sock, that I was currently wearing. For you see, house elves are servents to wizarding families, and the only way a house elf could be freed was by the wizard that they were serving was to give them a piece of clothing." They now understood why and couldn't help but share a grin that the man was fooled into freeing his servent.
A small article of clothing that would be easy to hide and quick too, with no one noticing the difference in appearance until later. This lord fell into Harry calucated trap, unknowingly setting his bound servent free without ever realising it.
"Dobby was overcome with great joy and happiness that moment. Dobby will never forget master harry's kindness and old master lucius's face as he realised his blunder." The House elf cried out in pure joy, letting slip the name of the nameless master who he was bound to previously.
But Dobby didn't care and wouldn't too as the old Malfoy patriarch was no longer their problem to worry about anymore.
Harry returned to smile back "And we certainly can't forget that you protected me when he went to kill me for losing him his servent."
That innocent smile soon twisted into one of delicious satisfaction "Dobby will never forget. Proudest and long awaited moment in Dobby's life sir." One can only imagen how rough his servitude was to invoke such emotions of glorious satisfaction and revenge against a former master.
Harry opened his arms out for the elf who quickly ran into them and embraced back the generous and welcoming hug from his new master before quickly departing "Anyway, after that with no one to call master and a house elf in need of one I ask dobby here if he wanted to be mine. He happily agreed, and so he became one of my most valued and treasured members of my house."
Dobby wiped away a tear that fell down his cheek from the ever greatful and heartwarming words that touched little creature's heart greatly "Dobby is honoured by those words."
"Your welcome. Now let's eat, the food is probarbly getting cold."
All four of them left that room to eat and retire but the story of his life was far from done, as the driven Rheanyra and the curious Helana were determined to find out the truth in his tale and the full story he has yet to finish.
-Omake Lore: The war of hearts-
-Viserys-
The war of Hearts the jesters and measter's called it.
A petty battle of women trying to seduce one lone man with feminine charm and honeyed words.
But it was a needed conflict as the Princesses Rheanyra and Helana fought for the conquering of Lord Hadrian's heart... but most importantly his power.
If not for the this minor battle for love, then we would know the extent of the dragon sorcerer's power or the limitations of his control, or the... army of the dragons he had yet to release into the world.
-Margaery-
It is a war as old as time and nobility itself as my grandmother would say.
I will not make any excuse that ladies and queens have not used what the gods have given them to achieve their desires. How else did they become queens and ladies of the most prominent houses, by their innocent grace, in this cruel world one must use all of their skills and sometimes sacrifice to win their place and power that comes with the position.
And even then it is still fought with every trick, every part of the body and soul used to keep that position of power we hold.
When the princesses Rhaenyra and Helana fought for the new lord, the both of them hadn't expected that instead of them swaying his heart.
It would be him who captured theirs.
The cold hearted and ironed willed princess Rhaenyra would fall for this new lord who would shatter the cold and unbending will of the eldest princess, and spark an event that would shake the foundations of this kingdom for generations to come.
-Euron Greyjoy-
Lord Peverall had the entire kingdom kissing his feet to have him on their side.
The Black and the Green's were fighting over him like dogs competing over slab of meat.
Even the women, the princesses of the king were clawing at eachother to be the one
If it were me, I would've had them both honestly. first chance I got when they presented themselves to him with nothing but smiles.
But Hadrian was cleaver man.
Unlike any other horny bastard who would've jumped at the chance of having sex with not one but two royal princesses of the dragons, Lord Peverall was cunning like the snake's his house embodies.
He knew the backstabbing politics' he was being forced into, and the consequences his actions had on the future of his place here.
So he played it smart.
Remaining as fucking neutral as he can while at the same time impressing the white haired cunts under his roof with his power's and treasures full of wonders that makes the withered old men of old town's great citadel look like a simple panty full of old and useless junk that nobody gives a care about.
And it worked.
He not only managed to impress the royalty under his roof but those's outside as well with his magic and creatures that none have seen in this world before.
Finished.
I hope you all enjoyed it.
anyway for those of you who want to know if Harry will finished the story of his life to the two royal princesses... you'll have to wait and find out to know if they trust his words or be shocked by the revelation that the man before them has over come so much to be here.
secondly for those of you confused as to why he has unicorn's and may ask why or what about the other creature's in magical britan or earth. the answer is that he has saved and preserved many of the endangered species nearly going extinct because of the war such as dragons, unicorns, Hippogriff's (yes Buckbeak is in it) and other magnificent creatures within the harry potter universe except for Mermaids, Pixies, Gnomes, Grindylows which is basically every creature he can't control or tame because they are wild and dangerous creatures.
You'll find out what creatures he's saved and taken with him to this new world in the next chapter.
until then, please be patient and wait until then.
