Here we are at Chapter 40. It's been a while, but I've been busy. Now the gang gets to learn more truths that have been kept from them. Not much happens here for the transformers characters, just saying. I do not own RWBY or Transformers. They belong to their respective owners. Here's chapter 40. Enjoy.

Chapter 40: The Lost Fable

Megatron and Yang stare at the form of a human Salem, with a fair complexion and blonde hair, wearing a regal looking dress, as she sits in a room in a high tower in front of a large mirror.

"Locked away by her cruel father, Salem was a girl who desired but one thing: freedom," Jinn narrates the story. Salem walks by Yang and Megatron, saddened by her current fate. "She lived in a time when kings and their kingdoms were plentiful, when men and women were capable of greatness, and magic was a gift from the gods that all could wield," Jinn says.

"The gods... But, if that's the case, then that means something must've changed all that, right?" Yang asks.

"It appears that we are about to find out," Megatron says.

Salem sits down and uses her magic to form four magical spheres in her hand, "And yet, there she sat within her tower. Even with her power, she was unable to do anything to change her fate," Jinn says. Salem drops her magic and looks away, the blue smoke reappearing and enveloping Salem as the scenery changes, now outside the castle. With Weiss and Dreadwing staring at it. "Until one day, a legendary hero came to brave the challenges within the tower's walls," Jinn says.

Just then, a young man wearing armor over a green shirt and black pants, and a cape wielding a scepter in his left hand appears standing in front of the tower. Weiss and Dreadwing walk up to him.

"The people of the lands knew him as Ozma," Jinn says.

"Ozma? But, that almost sounds like-," Weiss begins.

"Ozpin," Dreadwing finishes.

Weiss and Dreadwing disappear, only for Qrow to appear and wave his hand in front of Ozma's face. Ozma walks right through Qrow, as if he was never there to begin with.

"Unlike those who had come before, this warrior was not driven by the prize of the young maiden's hand. He fought only for righteousness, and his pure heart and courageous soul prevailed," Jinn narrates.

As Ozma walks up to the tower, Blake and Predaking watch as other warriors fall around Ozma. The scenes changes, this time showing Ozma using his scepter to strike down a dark-armored figure with glowing red eyes. Ozma then opens up a door leading to Salem's room, where she stands up and happy to see him. Blake and Predaking watch as the pair fight by side with their magic powers to escape the castle.

"They escaped the wretched fortress, and yet something bound them together," Jinn says.

"Ozma gave Salem her freedom," Ruby says as she and Soundwave watch them.

Smoke reforms the scene, showing Ozma and Salem running away from the tower, holding hands together. Once they escaped, the two stop to catch their breath before staring at one another.

"Ozma had been ready to give his life for justice countless times, but now saw a woman worth saving it for. And Salem, to her surprise, found her freedom not in the outside world she had yearned for, but in the eyes of the man that had saved her," Jinn says.

"So, where should we go now?" Salem asks.

Ozma offers a hand to her, "Wherever you'd like," he offers, and she happily takes it.

"The two fell deeply in love, planned adventures around the world, and lived happily ever after," Jinn says.

"They found peace and joy in one another," Megatron notes as he and Yang reappear.

"For a time, yes. But nothing lasts in this world," Jinn says.

Blue smoke then reforms the scenery, showing Salem kneeling at an unconscious Ozma's bedside in their home. Salem cries as she holds Ozma's hand.

"Ozma, the infallible hero of legend, fell ill. And where all the beasts and blades of the world had fallen short, a single sickness prevailed," Jinn says.

Ozma's body disappears as Salem continues sobbing, holding his scepter in her hands.

"Sometimes, it's the enemies you can't see that are the ones that finish you off," Dreadwing notes as he watches, unconsciously raising a hand to his core where his old wound sits.

"How could the gods let this happen?" Salem mutters through her tears.

"To have what you want after so long, only to have it taken from you so suddenly," Weiss mutters sadly.

"The god brothers, one of light and one of darkness, beings of creation and destruction. Salem prayed they would see the injustice that had befallen her love and make things right," Jinn says.

Two orbs, one of light and one of darkness, form above. Ruby and Soundwave watch the two conjoin in front of them. A bright light and blue smoke change the scenery again, this time showing a brightly lit place with a stairway leading up a mountain.

"The Domain of Light was a sacred place to all. Few came here for reasons other than to pray to the God of Light," Jinn says.

Salem traverses the stairway, carrying flowers and Ozma's scepter in her hands.

"It was here the elder brother, the god of light, dwelled beside his fountain of life and creation. It was here... where mankind would fall to ruin," Jinn says.

Ruby and Soundwave watch Salem walk up the stairs as smoke changes the scenery again, with Salem now at the top of the mountain as she looks upon the Domain of Light, a wide-open space with flowers, a pool of water and a tree at the center, and offers the flowers she brought. Leaves blow from the tree and flow above the water. From it, the God of Light rises from the pool, a being with a human shape glowing gold, and deer antlers on his head, but with no clear face. He walks forward to Salem.

"Please... Please, bring him back to me," Salem pleads, holding the scepter in her hands.

"I understand your pain, but you demand of me that which I cannot make so. Life and death are part of a delicate balance. A balance that must be upheld no matter what," the God of Light says.

"So... you won't do it then?" Salem asks, shocked that the god would shun her plea.

"To disrupt the cycle of-," the God of Light begins.

"But that's not fair... That's not fair!" Salem yells, her voice echoing through the domain.

"Let. Him. Rest," the God of Light orders her.

The wind picks up, causing leaves to blow around Salem. Suddenly, she finds herself back at the bottom of the stairway leading to the Domain of Light. She looks to Ozma's scepter in her hands before looking up at the sky, her rage clear to see. Blue smoke changes the scenery again, this time showing a dark environment with a stairway leading up the mountain, like the Domain of Light, but with skies of red and shadow. A land of death and despair.

"The God of Darkness. None dare to enter his home, as men knew what monstrosities emerged from his blackened pools of annihilation," Jinn says.

Salem walks forth toward a blackened pool of tar-like liquid.

"And so you must understand the Dark Lord's surprise when he found a lone woman kneeling before him," Jinn says.

From the blackened pool, the God of Darkness emerges. Yang and Megatron watch as the God of Darkness crawls toward Salem before standing upright. Salem then notices Grimm approaching her from behind.

"Salem understood it well. She told him of her loss and professed that she knew only he could answer her prayers, all while careful to make no mention of his brother," Jinn explains as Salem shows him Ozma's scepter.

"Rise, child, and let your faith in me be rewarded," The God of Darkness says.

Salem stands. Ruby and Soundwave watch as the God of Darkness conjures a purple sphere, bringing Ozma back from the dead. Salem kneels next to him, and Ozma comes back to life.

"Where am I? What is this?! WHERE AM I?!" Ozma yells hysterically.

Salem smiles as she places a hand on his chest, "It's okay! Everything's going to be okay!" she says, happy beyond measure.

Just then, the God of Light appears into the God of Darkness' domain. Though his face doesn't show it, he is angry.

"What have you done?" the God of Light asks his brother.

"I have done what I please, brother. You may bask in the powers of creation, but you do not own them," the God of Darkness replies.

"This is not creation," his brother says.

"Do not lecture me!" the God of Darkness retorts as the Grimm slowly approach the God of Light.

"I will do what I must to maintain order," the God of Light says, putting his hand out, and an orange aura surrounds Ozma's body, reducing him to nothing while in Salem's arms.

Salem is shocked at losing her love a second time, "No! No! What did you do?! BRING HIM BACK!" Salem shouts.

"You dare enter my domain and show such disrespect!" the God of Darkness says and makes Ozma reappear again, much to Salem's joy.

"I am abiding by the rules we agreed upon!" the God of Light argues.

"Rules that I now see are ever in your favor. And yet the day a mortal comes to pray at my feet before your own, so do you arrive to lay your judgment upon me!" the God of Darkness says.

The God of Darkness transforms into dragon-like form with skull-like head and a [air of curved horns, that snarling at the God of Light. The Grimm proceed forward and attempt to attack him, but a bright light emanates from him, destroying all the Grimm in the area. The God of Light then transforms into a bright, beautiful oriental-looking dragon.

"I know we have our differences, but I have not come here with the aim to control you. The same, however, cannot said for her. This woman came to you only after I denied her pleas – pleas that would have disrupted the balance that you and I created. Together," the God of Light reasons with his brother.

The God of Darkness hesitates, "...Then it seems I owe you an apology. Allow me to correct my mistake," he says and looks to the two humans.

"No!" Salem yells.

The God of Darkness fires a purple beam breath attack, disintegrating Ozma once again. Salem watches in dismay as Ozma's ashes blow away.

"You… You monsters! Give him back to me! GIVE HIM BACK!" Salem demands of them.

Salem tries to use her magic, but the God of Light flies forth and consumes her.

Salem then wakes up to find herself falling from the sky. She is then submerged in the God of Light's pool, drowning as an aura-like shimmer covers her body. Suddenly, she finds herself on the surface of the water, catching her breath. She looks up and notices both of the God Brothers standing side by side. Behind them, Qrow watches on.

"When you first came to me, I did pity you. But it is clear now that your selfishness and arrogance have led you astray," the God of Light says.

Salem stands back up, "What did you do to me?" she asks.

"I have made you immortal," the God of Light says.

"Immortal?" Salem asks, confused.

"You cannot die. You cannot be with the man you love," the God of Darkness informs her.

"So long as this world exists, so shall you," both Gods say together.

Salem is stunned by this revelation.

"You must learn the importance of life and death. Only then may you be reunited with your beloved," the God of Darkness says before sending Salem to on open field away from the domain.

"Salem was a prisoner once again. Her fruitless attempts to reunite with Ozma eventually became nothing more than acts of spite and defiance against the gods," Jinn says.

Megatron and Yang are in Salem's room in her home, watching as Salem fatally stabs herself. Yang is horrified be the scene, while Megatron watches on with little reaction. Salem's suicide attempt fails due to her immortality and pulls the sword out.

"She attempted to terminate herself to reunite with Ozma, but each time ended only in failure," Megatron mutters.

"But perhaps the gods were not as powerful as they seemed… Salem had lied to them, and made them turn against one another. She learned... that they were fallible," Jinn says while Salem walks to her room window. "If she were to turn humanity against light and darkness, she could rid herself of their curse, or at the very least… she could make them suffer," Jinn says.

"She... tried to fight them?" Yang asks.

Smoke changes the scenery again, showing a king standing up in surprise as a bloodied ax is thrown to the ground.

"Salem traveled from one kingdom to another, telling tales of how she stole immortality from the gods, welcomed any swordsman to cut her down, and demonstrated her powers," Jinn says, showing several images of Salem speaking with various leaders across the world.

"With the kings and queens in awe, she pulled them deeper into her scheme. She painted them pictures of a time when they would no longer have to watch their loved ones die, when they could claim the powers of their creators for themselves, and in turn, perfect their own design," Jinn says as Salem manipulates the human leaders.

Blue smoke changes the scenery once more, showing an army of the kingdoms' combined forces launching an attack on the Domain of Light.

"All they needed to do was destroy their old masters," Jinn says.

Warriors of the army approach the pool, making the God of Light emerge from the pool in his dragon form.

"The gods had hoped that Salem would learn from her eternal curse, and she did. She learned that the hearts of men are easily swayed," Jinn says.

"...War...against more powerful beings..." Soundwave says as he and Ruby watch.

"By the Allspark. A civilization united, but for all of the wrong reasons," Laserbeak notes.

The leaders of the kingdoms stand in front of their people, approaching the God of Light. The God of Darkness, also in his dragon form, then appears alongside his elder brother.

"Who has led you down to perform such acts?" the God of Light demands.

Salem walks through the crowd of warriors as she makes her way to the front of them, glaring at the gods.

"You...," the God of Darkness mutters, roaring at Salem.

Salem attacks with her magic, as do the warriors that follow her. However, the God of Darkness easily pulls them all into his left hand, absorbing them into a purple sphere of energy. Salem and her allies are shocked to see their combined assault thwarted so easily.

"My own gift to them... turned against me," the God of Darkness says.

The God of Light looks away in disappointment as the God of Darkness squeezes the sphere within his hand, creating a massive light that engulfs the world, destroying everyone, except for Salem.

"No... no..." Salem mutters in shock, only to get knocked back to the ground by the God of Darkness.

"You thought there was no greater punishment we could bestow upon you?" the God of Darkness says.

"I'll come back. I'll tell the rest of the world of this massacre! Build a new army!" Salem cries out in anger.

The God of Darkness shakes his head, "You do not understand. There is no one left. You are all that remains of humanity," he says, shocking Salem.

"They're all... gone?" Blake mutters in horror as she watches.

"Just like when my kind fell in the Great Cataclysm. By the Pit," Predaking mutters in shock.

"This planet was a beautiful experiment, but it is merely a remnant of what it once was. We will learn from this failure. I hope that you will learn from yours," the God of Light says before disappearing into a bright light.

"No! You can't leave! COME BACK!" Salem shouts.

"Still demanding things of your creators...How pitiful," the God says.

The God of Darkness then disappears into a beam of purple light that shoots up into the sky, shattering the moon in the process. Pieces of the moon rain down on the planet's surface. Salem falls to her knees and lets out a scream of despair.

"Once again, Salem was alone..." Jinn says, showing images of Salem traversing the world, now devoid of humans except for herself.

"To be left alone on a barren world. It was part of the same punishment I bestowed upon myself when I left Cybertron," Megatron mutters as he watches on.

"Salem cursed the gods, the stars, everything... except for herself. Eventually, she found herself back in the domain of darkness, on a cliff overlooking a black pool of death and nothingness," Jinn says as Salem stands on said cliff, and then falls off towards the black pool below, falling in. "She thought that if the fountain of life gave her immortality, then perhaps the pool of Grimm could take it away... only it didn't," Jinn says as Salem's body convulses painfully in the black depths. "Rather than destroy her as she hoped, the pool helped turn her into something else. A being of immortality... with a desire for destruction," Jinn says as Salem emerges from the pool in her new form, her now red eyes glowing. "And in time, she would find her adversary..." Jinn says.

Blue smoke changes the scenery again, this time showing Ozma in a white expanse with the God of Light.

"...Where... where am I?" Ozma asks.

"We are between realms. I'm afraid a tragedy has befallen your home at the hands of my brother. We have chosen to depart this world, but in our absence, I would like to offer you the chance to return to it," the God of Light offers.

"What do you mean? What tragedy?" Ozma asks.

"Mankind is no more, yet your world remains. And in time, your kind will grow to walk its face once again. However, without our presence, they will be but a fraction of what they once were," the God of Light explains, and then creates four objects: a staff, a sword, a crown, and a lamp that float around him. "Creation, destruction, choice, and knowledge. These were the ideals upon which humanity was made. Now I leave them behind with the hope that you will learn to remake yourselves," he says, fusing them all together into a bright sphere of energy. "If brought together, these four Relics will summon my brother and I back to your world, and humanity will be judged. If your kind has learned to live in harmony with one another and set aside their differences, then we shall once again live among you, and humanity will be made whole again. But if your kind is unchanged, if you demand our blessings while still fighting amongst yourselves, then man will be found irredeemable and your world will be wiped from existence. Until your task is complete, you will reincarnate, but in a manner that ensures you are never alone," the God of Light explains.

"Unfortunately, from what I have seen and read, mankind is far from united. They squabble amongst themselves and the Faunus too often to do so," Dreadwing says.

"But... if the relics are all together and the Gods come back while that is still around," Weiss says.

"Then mankind will be destroyed... once again," Dreadwing finishes the unpleasant thought.

Ozma falls to his knees as he tries to process all of this. Dreadwing and Weiss disappear, and Oscar takes their place.

"I'm sorry, but... that world just isn't as dear to me without her. If I may, I'd rather return to the afterlife to reunite with Salem," Ozma asks.

"You will not find her there," the God of Light shakes his head.

Ozma is surprised by this, "You mean she still lives?" he asks.

"Salem yet lives, but the woman you hold dear in your memories is no more. Heed this warning... where you seek comfort, you will only find pain. With this in mind, will you-," the God of Light begins.

"I'll do it," Ozma accepts without hesitation.

"...Very well. Our creation rests within your hands," the God of Light says and vanishes.

"And so Ozma was reborn," Jinn says.

"And Ozma became Ozpin," Oscar mutters.

The scene changes again, showing Ozma reincarnating into a man with a tanned complexion and pale blonde hair, who had just stabbed a Beowolf with a pitchfork, killing it. Ozma takes a moment to come to terms in his new body and surroundings. He looks around and sees people screaming and running into the forest he is in away from a nearby village that's up in flames as the Grimm attack it.

"Where am I?" Ozma mutters.

Just then, Ozma hears a man scream, and looks over to see him flailing a sword at a Beowolf, which knocks his sword away and takes him to the ground. Ozma runs forward, grabbing the man's sword and killing the Grimm. The man he saved stands up.

"Thank you. Who are you?" the man asks.

Suddenly, Ozma's first incarnation has trouble speaking, and drops the sword in horror. Oscar watches the scene before him.

"He doesn't know," Oscar realizes.

The scenery changes again, showing Ozma walking down a street, seeing Faunus locked up in cages, and a pile of Dust crystals on top of a table.

"Ozma had found himself in a world completely unfamiliar to him. Cities looked different. Creatures known as the Faunus bore fangs and claws and were locked away in cages. And without the blessing of the gods, no one could perform magic like mankind was once capable of, no one but himself and a woman known as... the witch," Jinn narrates as the setting around Ozma changes into a forest as he comes upon a lonely, broken down cottage in the woods. "During his years of travel, he heard the same frightened whispers that spoke of a terrifying sorceress who commanded dark powers in the wilds among the beasts and monsters. Ozma was convinced that this witch was Salem, and decided he needed to see what she had become," Jinn says.

Ozma stands in front of the cottage. The front door opens, and Salem emerges, wearing black robes now. She gives an angry glare while exiting the cottage, but suddenly, her expression softens upon seeing her visitor, recognizing him right away. Ozma smiles back at her.

"Call it magic or call it something stronger, but in that moment, the two knew exactly who it was that stood before them," Jinn says.

Ozma and Salem walk towards each other, the two hold each other's hands, interlocking their fingers affectionately.

"What do we do now?" Ozma asks.

"Whatever we like," Salem replies.

"They were finally reunited, but so much had changed. Including themselves," Megatron notes as he and Yang watch.

Over time, the cottage was repaired, "As Salem and Ozma recounted the events which had brought them back together, each withheld parts of their story. Salem, fearing Ozma would reject her, blamed the end of the world on the gods. Ozma, still unsure of where the truth lay, kept his task and the Relics a secret. Though time passed and all seemed well, Ozma's conversation with the God of Light still lingered in his mind. He had found happiness, but humanity seemed more divided than ever before," Jinn says.

The scene changes again, showing, Salem and Ozma inside the cottage, still talking to each other.

"Are you surprised? This world is literally godless. No one to guide mankind. Perhaps that's all they need," Salem notes, a drink in her hands.

Ozma puts his drink down, "What do you mean?" he asks.

Salem puts her drink down, "WE could become the gods of this world. Our powers surpass all others. Our souls transcend death. We can mold these lands into whatever we want, what you want. Create the paradise that was always meant to be," Salem suggests.

Ozma is hesitant at first, but then smiles in agreement with Salem.

"He went along with it, not knowing Salem's true design. The hearts of men are easily swayed," Megatron says, repeating Jinn's words.

The scene changes again, showing a village under attack by a Nevermore. Suddenly, the Nevermore is destroyed by a blast of energy. The villagers watch as Ozma, once again wielding his scepter and wearing regal blue robes, and Salem levitate into the air above them. The villagers all bow down to them, their new gods. Suddenly, they disappear and a pair of statues of them take their places.

"The two amassed a following. That following grew into a prosperous kingdom," Jinn says, showing a castle appearing before them, then a large room with a painting of Ozma and Salem together, with Salem sitting in a chair and Ozma standing next to her. "And at the head of that kingdom blossomed... a family," Jinn says as four little girls join them in the painting.

Ozma and Salem watch their four daughters playing together, the little girls all wearing dresses of different colors.

Dreadwing and Weiss watch, "For a time, things were peaceful. But, nothing lasts. It would only be a matter of time," he says.

"A matter of time for what?" Weiss asks worriedly.

"For that peace to end," Dreadwing answers as they watch.

Blue smoke changes the scenery, showing a massive conflict between people, while a smirking Salem watches from a crystal ball. Ozma stands a short distance away from her looking outside the window, appearing troubled.

"Are we sure this is the right thing to do?" Ozma asks.

Salem looks to Ozma, "You said we needed to bring humanity together. In order to do that, we have to spread our word. For those that will not join us; if they won't join us and resist us, then they must be destroyed," Salem says.

Ozma turns away, unsure of her words, and sees his reflection in the window.

"What are we doing?" his reflection asks.

Ozma reels back in horror from the sight, his original incarnation showing himself for the moment.

"...Mission..." Soundwave says.

"His mission to unite humanity before the Gods return," Laserbeak adds as they watch.

"This isn't what I was supposed to do," Ozma says.

"What was that?" Salem asks.

The two then hear a door open, and one of their daughters enters the room.

"Mother, Father, look!" the girl says before conjuring magic in her hands.

Salem looks on with pride, while Ozma looks on in surprise, before becoming troubled once more.

"It was a miracle, their children could perform magic. But what should have been a joyous occasion was short-lived," Jinn says, showing another scene of Ozma talking to Salem again. "Ozma told Salem everything, the true reason the God of Light had brought him back, the Relics that they scattered around the world, and the day of judgement he had been told to prepare the world for," Jinn says.

Salem waits for Ozma to finish before speaking, "Don't you see? None of that matters anymore. The gods abandoned this world. Why spend our lives trying to redeem these humans when we can replace them with something greater?" Salem offers, extending her hand to Ozma.

Ozma, however, hesitates to take it. Smoke changes the scene again, showing Ozma quietly escorting his daughters out their room late at night. One daughter looks down the hallway though when she notices something.

"Mommy?" she says.

Ozma looks on, surprised to see Salem standing at the end of the hall, looking angry. Ozma protectively stands in front of his daughters. Salem, realizing what he is doing, angrily conjures a red beam from her hand. Ozma uses his scepter to counter Salem's attack, launching a green beam. Their attacks clash, engulfing the area into a bright white flash. Megatron and Yang watch in horror as Ozma and Salem battle throughout their home. Their battle leaves their home in ruins and their daughters dead. Ozma weakly crawls on the ground, mortally wounded from the battle. Salem's body reappears thanks to her immortality, and angrily walks over to Ozma. She kicks him over onto his back and holds him down with her heel.

"We finally had FREEDOM... But you..." Salem mutters, her rage boiling.

Ozma weakly looks up at her, "I-," he begins, only for Salem to kill him with a blast of fire.

"Thus, began a long and painful cycle of death and rebirth for Ozma," Jinn says as she shows images of Ozma's various incarnations as the sands of time continue to flow. "Some lives were spent in mourning for his daughters or for his failure to stop her, while others were spent attempting to forget his past," Jinn says. Blue smoke changes the scene again, showing Ozma reincarnating into a dark-skinned man with glasses. "But no matter what, his mind would eventually turn back to the task the gods had burdened him with," Jinn says. She then shows a scene of Ozma's newest reincarnation serving a meal to his wife and two children.

"How many lives has he lived? How many families, ruined by his mission?" Predaking wonders as he and Blake watch on.

"And as the centuries went on, Ozma began to learn the importance of living WITH the souls with which he had been paired," Jinn says. Ozma then hears screaming outside and opens the door to see villagers running in fear as Grimm attack. "But no matter where or how he lived, Salem's reach was never too far away," Jinn says. Ozma looks back to his wife, who nods in understanding, before going out with his cane to fight. "If humanity were ever to stand a chance at being united, one thing was clear..." Jinn says.

"If he is to unite and save humanity, he would have to kill someone he loved... He would have to kill Salem," Megatron says.

Blue smoke changes the scenery, showing Ozma's reincarnation, much older now, working on his cane.

"Knowing he could never rid the world of Salem through any mortal methods, Ozma sought out the power of the Relics," Jinn says, showing Ozma placing his cane inside a metal cabinet, and then closing it. The door opens again showing Ozma's newest reincarnation, a younger man wearing finer clothing, picking up the cane once more. "Armed with my knowledge, he believed he could fulfill his promise to the God of Light," Jinn says, showing Ozma with the Relic of Knowledge, summoning Jinn.

Everyone watches him ask his questions from behind.

"Where are the other Relics? What powers do they possess? How to I destroy Salem?" Ozma asks his three questions of her.

"He asked me his questions, for which I answered each, though not all of my answers... were to his liking," Jinn says.

"...You can't," Jinn's past self says to Ozma for his final question.

Upon hearing this, Ozma falls to his knees in despair. Ruby, Weiss and Blake all have shocked expressions, but Yang is the only one that's angry. Predaking growls, Soundwave and Laserbeak remain stoic as usual, and Dreadwing narrows his eyes at Ozma. Megatron, however, views him not just with anger, but also with pity. Now that Megatron's question has been answered, Jinn returns them to present and disappears. They all look to Oscar, who lowers his head, tears falling like the snow around them.

And that's the chapter. The gang finally learn the truth about Ozpin and Salem, but how will they take this knowledge with Ozpin? Don't worry, the gang will talk more with the former cybertronians about their pasts within the next few chapters. What will the gang do now, knowing that Salem can't be killed? Until then, please Read and Review.
