Let's get it going with chapter 22 shall we.
But before we do so here are some responses to you wonderful peoples.
Starpottergeek: Yeah I get it there's some fics out there that just wanna spam to see if it might make them update faster even if I know it probably won't. and yes Jameson learning his lesson that totally happened : )
Draegoon: Yeah, she was said on the wiki to have a positive and supportive personality, and so she kinda counterbalanced Maximo. And well I might have been dragging out the reluctant hero thing a bit too far so enough of that although Jack will probably still think himself a little crazy.
Shakespeare RZA: Uh I wouldn't know about the Godfather movie because I've never seen it so anything like that I'm pretty sure is coincidental. And yeah I'm a sucker for redemption arcs kinda, it happened after watching Avatar when I was younger I think.
All reviews are appreciated and also feel free to PM me with ideas for the story or such I'm already going to implement a few ideas some people have given.
Also for those looking for good music to listen to look up Two Steps From Hell despite their name it's not a rock band or anything but they've got some really good music.
Hope everyone is doing alright and so let's get 22 kicked off. Also hope you notice what gets switched later on.

Coming to Terms
Chapter 22
Jack rolled over on his berth and groaned wishing he could fall back into recharge. After he woke up from his talk with Solus and Maximo Jack had checked his chronometer to find that he had woken up in the early hours of the morning and swore that he no longer felt tired enough to fall back into recharge.
Groaning in annoyance Jack stood up and made to leave his room, if he couldn't get some more rest he may as well be doing something instead of sitting on his aft bored out of his processor.
Quietly Jack made his way out of the barracks hall and deeper into the base. Since it was still really early the main lights were off but it wasn't dark enough for Jack's optics to require adjusting for the lack of light. Everyone seemed to be in their quarters still except for Bulkhead so Jack assumed he was on guard duty so he wouldn't have to worry about getting sent back to his berth by Ratchet unless he ran into the medic.
Jack stretched his arms causing hydraulics to his and gears to groan at the stress causing Jack to shake his helm. He was still use to the stiff cracks and pops stretching as a human made not the sound of heavy machinery moving, despite being cybertronian for a good amount of time now there were just a few things he couldn't get used to hearing or seeing. It was unnerving and Jack wondered if he would ever get a hundred percent used to being cybertronian, everyone knew they'd have enough time to do it.
Jack shook his helm, not wanting to go down that mental road, and instead to stock of his surroundings. He was actually pretty close to the energon "vault" that was slowly dwindling in supplies; they had gotten coordinates for energon mines but had yet to raid any of them because the bots were too busy training the former humans. If they didn't do something about the energon situation soon they would be dead in the water.
Jack was set on the idea of raiding the energon mines until he remembered the ground bridge was disabled in Starscream's escape. Without it they had no way of getting to much less extracting any energon from the mines, so downtrodden Jack continued to wander leaving the vault behind him.
Jack mind went back to the conversation he had with Solus before he left the Prime realm, and still debated on whether or not it was just a recharge deprived hallucination. First he met the cybertronian creator then the first Prime apparently and then Solus and Maximo.
"Wait…" Jack muttered aloud he had completely forgotten about Solus' forge he used to before to repair Cliffjumper maybe he could use it again to fix the ground bridge. Jack remembered where it was he'd been the one to take it to its current resting place not too far from the energon vault in the relics vault.
Walking at a fast pace and down a few halls Jack found the room lined with massive garage doors. It was easy to identify which room contained the forge as the window revealed a small blue glow and Jack rushed to it quickly opening the door revealing the forge sat in the center of the room on a slightly elevated concrete slab. Jack picked up the massive ancient relic, grunting at the massive weight on his arms, he swore it was heavier than the last time he used it. Settled in his servo's the forge's gears began turning and a strong blue glow emanated from its core signifying the relics restored power.
It didn't matter much as Jack shouldered the weight and made his way to the command center. It was actually quite far from the command center as the vaults were positioned as far away from the entry to the base as possible. But it didn't stop Jack from marching his way into the room his optics set on the broken terminal laid dormant.
"Jack what are you doing? Why do you have the forge?" Scrap Jack knew that someone was usually on duty in the command center he just hoped it wouldn't be Ratchet.
"I'm gonna fix the ground bridge." Jack was a little short in his response but he just hoped the medic wouldn't try and stop and most of all he just hoped it would work and that fixing Cliffjumper hadn't been a fluke.
Ratchet gave Jack a surprised and skeptical look but didn't get in his way as the teen stopped in front of said terminal, it looked little better than when Jack had initially seen it except for what remained of its casing had been removed and multiple parts were scattered around it.
Ratchet wasn't sure what to think, after conducting a subtle scan to confirm Jack's recharge deprivation he hadn't expected to see him up until late tomorrow. Yet here he was wielding the Forge of Solus Prime of all things and obviously intended to try and use the ancient device. Ratchet waited in anticipation, he and Optimus had their theory's and some evidence that Jack may have been a Prime given the energy readings his spark gave off but that was without visual confirmation and for all they knew it could have been residual from the Key of Vector Sigma and in addition the revival of Cliffjumper but Ratchet had been quick to play it off as a fluke, he was now considering taking back that thought. And Judging by how the forge was reacting in Jack's grip the old medic was feeling hopeful about the outcome.
Jack let out a vent and brought the forge up and down like one would a sledgehammer upon the sparking computer. In a flash of light and shower of sparks the impact made a large clang, when the light cleared the terminal still looked as if it had been on the receiving end of a Semi truck toping a hundred. But it looked better than it had and sparked with hope Jack brought the forge down again, the same light show but this time it looked as if it was possible to repair it without the forge. But encouraged by the progress Jack brought the forge down again and again until the piece of equipment looked better than it had before.
Awed Ratchet stepped forward and checked over the terminal, opening the front panel revealed pristine circuitry and the terminal lit up the display stating all systems were good.
Jack grunted and let the forge drop to his side as he plopped down next to it very tired suddenly. Ratchet forgot about checking over the terminal and instead rushed to Jack's side. "Jack are you alright?" Ratchet wasted no time in scanning Jack from helm to pede making sure the young prime was actually alright instead of waving off assistance.
"I'm fine Ratchet; I'm just tired that thing gets heavy after using it for a while." Jack muttered optics dimmed in exhaustion.
"Alright come on your energy levels have dropped off the charts let's get you over to a berth." Ratchet helped Jack to his pedes and guided him over to the command center's triage corner where Jack quickly laid down. "Don't worry about anything else right now. Just make sure you get some recharge."
Ratchet wasn't even sure if Jack heard him because he was already in recharge with cooling fans kicking on to cool overheating systems. Ratchet made one more scan just to make sure nothing was damaged in the young mech and turned back to the previously destroyed terminal. "Optimus, you're needed in the command center." Ratchet didn't bother waiting for a response and simply waited by Jack who for once was finally getting some uninterrupted rest.
-TFP-TFP-TFP-
"So he really is a prime…" Arcee murmured as she glanced between the forge that was still in the middle of the Command center and the recharging mech off to the side. "It's one thing to just think about but to actually have it be confirmed."
"Yes, we've suspected as much for a while but after scanning him more today I can confirm that the Key to Vector Sigma has become a matrix around his spark." Ratchet was working at his medical terminal in the command center probably inputting Jack's medical data.
"How is his condition? You said he became incredibly tired after using the forge despite just waking up." Optimus asked as he stood at the foot of Jack's berth.
Ratchet sighed as he faced the small crowd of bots. None of the former humans were present they were either all training or still resting but he was glad none of them were here. Ratchet could figure how Rafael and Miko and wasn't worried about them it was June that made him nervous, not many could scare the medic that femme was one of the few. "I theorized that the forge drained energy from Jack to fully recharge itself and to repair the Ground bridge terminal he should be fine with more rest."
"So what does this mean that we got two primes now?" Wheeljack questioned, "We take orders from him now to?" it didn't sound snarky but when had that ever stopped Arcee from getting annoyed at someone.
"Why do you say that like it's a bad thing, and didn't we just have issues with you taking orders." Arcee growled protective over her partner who couldn't defend himself while recharging. Ratchet shared a small glance curious with Cliffjumper who had been recently discharged from Medbay but the mech only shrugged with a smirk on his faceplate.
"I didn't mean it like that and yeah I learned my lesson big whoop," Wheeljack waved her off something she did not like at all. "The kid's got a good helm on his shoulders but he's young, and since the beginning of the war Primes have always led the Autobots and now we have two."
"Er, Jackie's right, when's the last time there even was two primes." Bulkhead brought up making some present realize they hadn't ever seen such an occurrence.
"There have not been multiple primes functioning since the original thirteen," Optimus faced his soldiers his faceplate a stoic mask, "Their matrix's different from the one that resides in my chest all disappeared along with them. Because of that there has only been one prime at a time since then, this is indeed a unique situation." And this would be difficult on Jack. Optimus knew the teen didn't want to be put into a position of leadership; he simply wished to help others. "In all it is Jackson's choice in what he wishes to do, I shall speak with him when he wakes but until then let us leave him to rest."
Everyone agreed and the group dispersed leaving just Optimus, Ratchet, and Arcee.
Arcee looked up to her commander worry clear in her optics as she glanced between Optimus and Jack. "If it's all the same Optimus I'd rather stay with him for a bit." Optimus simply nodded in acceptance understanding her worry for her partner.
-TFP-TFP-TFP-
"Hey Doc we're starting to run pretty low on energon, we got some coordinates out of Starscream how about we put one of them in and see what we can find?" Ratchet ground his denta at the name and opted to ignore it in favor of answering the wrecker.
"I've been aware of this issue and with the ground bridge now back to full operation thanks to Jack," Ratchet glanced back at said recharging teen, June had quickly been made aware of what happened and quickly made sure that her son was alright, now she and Arcee were quietly talking while Jack rested. "We can start working on resupplying our dwindling stockpiles. Optimus is currently occupied and Arcee no doubt will not wish to leave Jack's side and Cliffjumper hasn't been reinstated to active duty yet." Something the red mech wasn't happy about as he claimed to be going stir crazy. "So only Bulkhead and Bumblebee would be able to accompany you, do not hesitate to call for Backup if you become overwhelmed."
Wheeljack only laughed as he active his comm presumably to recruit the two aforementioned bots. "Come on Doc, Wreckers don't call for backup. We call for clean up!" Ratchet only scowled as the wrecker focused on recruiting Bumblebee and Bulkhead for an apparent suicide mission.
It didn't take long for either mech to get to the command center so Ratchet simply activated the ground bridge allowing the three to swiftly make their way through and into the Decepticon held cave system.
Although with everyone focused on other tasks no one noticed the pink and bright blue blurs going through the bridge before it closed.
"You know if Ratchet or Optimus find out about this they're gonna be torqued." Bee buzzed as he took in his surrounding and found cover behind and rock formation with Bulkhead and Wheeljack.
"You worry too much, the kids need some field experience and what better way than an unsuspecting energon mine." Wheeljack waved off the scout who pouted at being dismissed so easily.
"Seriously don't worry about it, if they get mad I'll just say I snuck along again and Carly tried to stop me, there problem solved." Miko whispered from her own rock that she shared with the other femme. "Right now current problem is lots of cons digging and if we fire they sound the alarm which is a no no.
"So how do we stop them from setting off an alarm?" Carly asked as she glanced over the rock and at the fifteen or so Vehicons and Miners, "We can't take them out fast enough and Ratchet said energon is highly combustible so we can't shoot."
"And that's where this comes in handy." Wheeljack declared as he pulled a small round device out of his subspace. "It's a signal jammer, worked it off some designs I snagged from a Decepticon outpost during the war, it's been pretty handy."
Wheeljack reeled his arm back to throw but before he could throw the device though Bulkhead grabbed his friends and halting the movement. "Are you sure this is the signal disruptor and not a grenade?" the shorter wrecker glared at his friend just at the assumption. "Hey, I'm making sure because the last time you said it was a disruptor Jackie you threw a grenade into an energon stockpile."
"Hmph fine," Wheeljack crouched back down again and examined the device he held making sure that it actually was the disruptor. "See it is the disruptor, now just gotta arm it and throw it." And Wheeljack did just that. Everyone tracked it as it arced through the air and watched it land in the middle of a cluster of Vehicons none of them noticing the small device. "Alright now we go in fast and hard." Wheeljack unsheathed his swords and dashed out from behind the rock. Bulkhead followed him maces engaged, and Miko, Bee, and Carly followed suit ready to thrash some cons.
"Bulkhead and I got the left you guys take the right and we'll meet in the center." Wheeljack commed as the group split in silent acknowledgment.
The fight started off without a hitch, Wheeljack and Bulkhead took out a number of them quietly without alerting the rest of the cons and Miko, Carly, and Bee managed to take out a few before everything started going south. Apparently the cons had patrols going farther down into the caves and one of them was returning and spotted Miko as she clobbered one of the Vehicon miners. The patrol leader alerted everyone left in the cave getting the miners attention as they all turned on Miko's group and they also cared little for safety as they engaged blasters and opened fire.
"Oh scrap. Carly get back!" Miko managed to shout and grabbed the other femme dragging her out of the line of fire as several blasts hit where she once stood. Both femmes ran for cover behind a group of boulders. "Wheeljack could really use some help about now."
"A little busy over here, it's to open for close quarters anymore just use your cannons."
Miko shuttered her optics and shifted her cannons out with a sheepish smile, "Heh forgot they don't blow anything up." Carly gave her an unimpressed look that Miko ignored. "Alright I'll try and clear a path for you and draw their fire, make sure to scrap them." Carly nodded and Miko popped out from cover running across the cave ducking behind rocks and mining debris firing her sonic cannons the whole way blasting Vehicons out of cover or just generally bursting audial receptors.
Bee was slowly making his way across the cave toward the cons position using the cover and darkness to his advantage to get the drop on the distracted enemy. From his position he could see Bulkhead and Wheeljack also making their way to him albeit with much less stealth and Miko was covering Carly as both femmes made their way up the center. In short they were converging on the Vehicons position at the entrance to this cave making sure to take out any of the stragglers left in the cave. It didn't take long after that to ensure the only Vehicons remaining were the ones by the entrance and their numbers were slowly being eliminated.
"Ha this is going great," Miko shouted over the sound of her cannons as she blasted another con into a wall. Carly was engaged in close quarters using the servo to servo combat tactics Arcee and Bumblebee taught her to deflect and avoid blows and making sure her own hits landed.
Bumblebee and Wheeljack were also engaged in close quarters with the scout using his boxing like technique to bob and weave out of the hits and pummeling his current target. Wheeljack was rolling and jumping between foes quickly slicing and dicing any cons who got into his path, severing limbs and decapitating helms leaving con's fallen chassis' littered everywhere.
Bulkhead scavenged the cave behind them finding a laser drill and a servoful of empty cubes stacked on a hoverlift. "You guys take care of them I'll get started on getting some of this energon."
"Got it Bulkhead we're just about finished up here." Bumblebee commed back as he took out the last of his group of cons. "Windstreak, Soundshock when your finished go help Bulkhead me and Wheeljack will cover the entrance."Bee's whirls and clicked carried across the skirmish with Wheeljack simply pinging him in confirmation.
"Got it Bee, but I think Windstreak needs some help she's got a few of them on her and I've got these Blockhead's to deal with still." Soundshock shouted as another con tried to get the drop on her but she blasted him straight into another bashing them both over.
"On it." Bee buzzed and dashed to where he last saw the other femme. Slowly she had been separated from the others and as he followed the trail of offline chassis' they weren't fairing to well against her. Getting past a group of boulders that blocked Windstreak from sight Bee swore as he saw that despite doing as well as she had she had multiple cuts and dents and was also favoring her left leg. There was only three of them left but she had exhausted herself through the fighting and her injuries weren't helping and finally one got a lucky hit to the side of her helm making her cry out. Regardless of any damage done from the blow however Windstreak's optics blazed in fury and the sound of transformation rang out.
Before Bee could warn her about using her blasters, instead of hearing the whine of charging energon he could hear a loud high speed motor and quickly the Vehicon who had struck her was unfortunately closest to her and her immediate target. The Vehicon couldn't even react as the rotor blade cut through him like a hot knife through butter, and Bee could only stare in morbid awe as Windstreak cut the drone in half and quickly as if not bothered by her injuries launched herself at the next target. Bumblebee got over the turn of events and decided to assist them femme and engaged the last con quickly dispatching his target.
"Took you guys long enough," Windstreak grunted as she slid down the wall of the cave behind her plopping down in exhaustion. "Ow that hurts." She muttered as she massaged her leg which sported a large gash going down the side and leaking a small bit of energon.
Bumblebee offered Windstreak his servo and she grunted as she took it and he hauled her to her pedes. "Come on let's get back to the others. Bulkhead's already started extracting the energon; Soundshock and Wheeljack are mopping up the rest of the cons."
"Got it, and deciding to go with our other names now?" Windstreak asked as Bumblebee supported her as they moved which jostled her leg a bit. "Ow, I'm starting to regret getting talked into this by Mi-Soundshock."
"Yeah, that sounds about right don't worry we'll make sure Nurse Darby gets to you before Ratchet gets the chance." Bee buzzed good-naturedly, "And don't worry Ratchet only throws is wrenches at bots that deserve it or did something stupid."
"So Soundshock then? And you didn't answer the question about the names."
"Exactly. And yeah Optimus' orders to use the names outside of base." Bee chortled and his doorwings fluttering in amusement glad that could at least take Windstreak's mind off her damaged leg for a moment.
When they got back all the cons were gone from the cave and Soundshock was moving the offlined chassis out of the door as Wheeljack checked around the outside of the cavern entrance making sure no other patrols were on their way and that nothing else was drawn by the noise. Soundshock gasped however when she saw Windstreak and hurriedly made her way over.
"Scrap are you okay? Where were you? How many of them were there? Are they all in a scrap heap now?" Windstreak winced at the volume and quantity of questions Miko was firing off one after another, either she was on the cybertronian equivalent of an adrenalin rush and hadn't come down yet or she just did this whenever she was worried about someone.
"I'm alright, three of them just got the jump on me but they've been taken care of." Windstreak thought she would have been a bit more freaked out when on the middle of the fight and especially having to kill something, although she figured it also trying to kill you made it a little easier to cope with and them only being drones.
"Great because once Doctor Doom gets his optics on you we are so slagged" Soundshock groaned as she walked away to help Bulkhead mumbling about escape routes and wrenches.
"Ratchet's not really that bad is he?" Windstreak asked as she looked up a Bee from her sitting position.
"Er, well he really does care about his patients he just hates it when bots do stupid things that he has to patch up." Bee's optics tracked Miko as she picked up another laser drill and started helping Bulkhead fill up the crates"You should be fine, Soundshock on the other servo."
"I can imagine this isn't the first time she's tagged along like this?"
"No it isn't she's done stuff like this ever since we've met her." Bee laughed as he recalled one particular incident. "Scrap she even tagged along with Bulkhead to storm the Decepticon warship to save Agent Fowler, the boys tried to stop her but well that never seems to go as planned."
"I met her parents and while her dad's a bit eccentric, her mom is a bit more down to earth. I wonder if she was a party animal or something when she was younger."
"That would make a whole lot of sense."
"Hey! How do I get this thing to work!?" Soundshock shouted as she smacked the side of the tool that apparently refused to function.
"Press the button on the side by the handle."
"Oh thanks!" Soundshock pressed the button and the laser activated but she was pointing the thing straight up and instead of slicing into the energon it carved a hole into the ceiling causing rocks and debris to fall. "Oops my bad."
"That femme I swear is gonna be the death of someone."
Windstreak only laughed as Soundshock started digging into the blue crystals.
"Bee pick up a drill and help we've only got so long until they realize it's to quiet down here and send someone to check in out." Bulkhead tossed the scout a drill and both hurried through their work eager to get back to base. "This should be enough energon to stock us for a few months."
Bee buzzed in agreement glad they wouldn't have to worry so much about their supplies for a while.
-TFP-TFP-TFP-
"Of all the reckless and foolhardy things you could have done you decided to tag along and get into a firefight with the Decepticon's" Yeah Miko was right Ratchet was not a happy medic when they returned to base even with the large amount of energon they managed to recover.
"Hey, the kids gotta get some field experience you can only learn so much from training and simulations." Wheeljack crossed his arms over his chassis not backing down from the medic's withering glare. "Besides they did fine, Windstreak only got a little banged up and still handed the con's their aft on a silver platter."
"Hmph regardless of how well they did or not, they were not given permission to engage the enemy for that exact reason." Ratchet rested his servos on his hips not backing down from the innovative wrecker.
Optimus simply sat by the sidelines hoping that his subordinates would come to an agreement about the situation but apparently they were as the humans said an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. Optimus saw June near Ratchet's part of the command center as she rubbed a large cloth over her servo's cleaning off energon and other gunk having just finished repairing Windstreak's leg.
Feeling it better to let his mech's sort it out amongst themselves Optimus felt it better to inquire about Windstreak himself. "Mrs. Darby how is Carly doing?"
"She's doing fine, mostly just a few dents and scrapes and the gash on her leg looked and probably felt worse than it actually was." June crossed her arms as she looked past the prime and at her cybertronian mentor, "Someone was just over reacting and gave me more work to do when he dented Miko's helm with a wrench." June had said it loud enough to know that Ratchet had heard her but the medic was devote in proving himself write and Wheeljack wrong that he ignored her.
"Other than that everyone came back with mostly cosmetic damage and that they can sort out on their own." Turning around June walked back into the triage area where Carly was examining her leg and massaging out the soreness. Still on berth though was Jack still recharging despite the noise Ratchet and Wheeljack were making with their yelling. "One thing I want to know is what the deal is with my son, which Ratchet refuses to tell me."
Optimus shuttered his optics in surprise as he was effectively trapped, he could either dismiss her and he'd have an angry creator after him or he could explain what he understood had happened.
"As it stands Mrs. Darby is that Jack had not been recharging properly and as such has exhausted his systems." A nod from June told him that she already knew this as she cast a worried glance at her son. "Early this morning, Jack took the Forge of Solus Prime and used it on the Ground bridge terminal repairing the damage that Starscream caused, but as the forge hadn't recharged itself fully it borrowed from Jack which wasn't much to begin with.
"This didn't happen when he brought Cliffjumper back, what was different this time?"
"The forge had not been used in a millennia even before it was sent away from Cybertron, it's power was at full capacity and didn't require an external source to fuel itself." June seemed to let that sink in as she stood by Jack watching as he lay there silently. "There is something else. I believe in Ratchet's report after I had lost my memories he wrote that he explained a bit of my past to you and the children."
June nodded but confused as to where this was supposed to go. "Uh yeah, how you were Orion Pax then you got the matrix then became… well you."
"Indeed, and I became the last Prime, but none of you truly understand what that means." Optimus vented a sigh as he stood at the foot of Jack's berth glad that he could finally rest for a while. "It is not simply a title, a position, or a name. But the leader of our entire race, which is an incredible burden to bare, with the matrix it makes it easier as it is a database of sorts although much more complex it is a sort of bridge to the Primes of past ages."
June shuttered her optics lost as to what any of this had to do with her son but continued to hear the Autobot leader out he never did something that didn't have a purpose. "So if the war hadn't started you would have been leading your planet?"
"Yes, and I would have had to nominate advisors, individual's whom I trust, but as war had broken out I was appointed commander of the Autobot resistance." Optimus shook his helm slightly noticing he was getting off the topic. "You have seen Jackson use the Forge of Solus Prime correct?"
"Yes."
"There is a prerequisite for one to use the forge as it is a tool of Primus, our creator. As it is only Solus Prime had been known to be able wield the forge and now Jack has. Him being able to use the forge has confirmed suspicions that Ratchet and I have held since you have returned to us."
June was tired, worried, and stressed and really wanting to know what was happening with her son. "What suspicions this entire conversation just seems to be going around in circles without any reason or rhyme to it."
"Mom, what he's trying to say is that I'm a Prime." A tired voice interrupted and both pairs of optics swung around to Jack who was sitting up on the berth.
"Jack! Your…" What Jack had said caught up with her processor and made her stall for a moment. "I'm sorry Jack can you repeat that."
"I said that I'm a Prime, when this happened to us." Jack knocked on his arm causing a metal ring, "I had the Key to Vector Sigma on a chain around my neck, I thought I lost it but instead it fused with my spark and became a matrix I guess. Just look." Jack sat up straight and had his chest plates shift open revealing his internals but most importantly it revealed is spark surrounded in a silver cage with glowing blue inlays that pulsed in time with his spark.
June shuttered her optics surprised at the reveal, and after what she had just been told by Optimus about what the burden of being a prime was exactly. Combine that with the stress she already had after worrying over her son and being frustrated no one would tell her what the issue was. There was only so much someone's processors could go through in such a short amount of time and June was at her limit so her processors did the protective thing and shut down.
"Mom?" Jack asked as he noticed her blank expression, he closed up his chest plates and stood in front of her and waved a servo in front of her to no reaction. Jack poked her hoping to elicit a reaction but it only served to unbalance her and she fell flat on her back.
"Oh scrap, her processors glitched." Ratchet groaned from behind Optimus and Jack. Jack was already helping his mom onto the berth he just woke up from. "You told her didn't you? Never mind of course you did, this would be the only reaction I could expect really to someone as stressed out of her CPU as June." Ratchet muttered as he opened a panel on the side of June's helm and began working to wake her up.
"Maybe we should have broken it to her a little easier?"
"Hmph a little late for that now wouldn't you think."
And now I think this is the fastest I've ever gotten a chapter out, I think I busted out 2k words in a single day, kinda thanking Miltonius for that made me really realize how slowed down this was and kinda inspired me to having Miko and Carly tag along with the bots into the cave.
I can't promise fast chapter like this constantly but well, whenever I go out of town I bring my laptop and start writing whenever I can having less distractions is nice.
And now I'm gonna be using the cybertronian names more, just cause I've got them and haven't been using them and it's starting to bug me. And sorry if it messed with you when I stopped using the human names in here but well what can you do.
Anyway hope everyone's having a good day/night and stay frosty my friends.
