A/N The music and the imagery was too much to not do...You BETTER listen to the "Benny Hill Theme" while reading this. It's a must actually, I don't know if you will experience the same thing without it.
Tathardes was laying in the field staring at the blue sky. It was a beautiful spring day, and many of the wild flowers have bloomed already. Glorfindel, whom recently has been restored to life one month ago wanted to spend time with the only two people he could consider family. Erestor and she had agreed.
Presently, Erestor and Glorfindel were catching up with each other, brothers from different lineages. Erestor had come to her in joyful tears when he first found the gold head in the forest, even though her husband yelled at Glorfindel later that same evening. Tathardes found she liked the Vanya.
The elf-maid frowned when she heard shouting. She sat up and her mouth fell open as the two elf-men were running to her.
"Run!" Erestor yelled at her.
"What did you DO!?" Tathardes was ripping her hair from her roots as she saw a giant, lumbering bear chasing the two elf men.
"I did nothing! I regret NOTHING!" Glorfindel exclaimed.
Tathardes got to her feet and starting running too. Bears at that period were massive creatures, and some species of bear were quite fast despite their size. The elves of course can outrun it, but when without any weapons and two out of three elves would not kill an animal without cause...
Running for your life was not a good enough cause, but the threat was there for them to be mauled.
The three elves ran, zigzagged, even went in a full circle and the bear still did not let up and showed no sign of stopping.
"The boulder!" Glorfindel pointed to the giant rock, "Hide behind it!"
The elves did so, and the bear ran passed them, losing sight of its quarry.
Glorfindel started laughing, "How refreshing! A fine run to start the afternoon!" He turned to look at Erestor and he lost all color on his face.
Erestor looked murderous and there was a vein pulsing in his forehead, "I'm going to kill you!"
Glorfindel started running again and Erestor gave chase.
Tathardes climbed the rock to watch. The bear gave a great roar and started chasing the two elf-men again. Tathardes let out a huff and shook her head as the two friends and bear disappeared beyond her sight.
